This is a lovely property with lots of character in the north valley, with lots of natural light from skylights. It has a very nice kitchen/dining area separate from a living area with an adobe dividing wall. Large master bedroom suite, with a screen for the dual sinks, and the shower and toilet in a small enclosed space for privacy. There is a curtain that can be used to additionally screen the bed from the bathroom portion, and screen light from the skylights. There is a second bedroom, and a hall bath for additional guests, along with a basic washer and dryer. Internet was great for us for the little amount of work we did, and was fast enough for gaming by our teenager. We will definitely stay again.

The house is in a beautiful area of Albuquerque with close proximity to many activities and easy access to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. We stayed for a month and had everything we needed. Internet was great for remote working and video calls. Having a garage for our car was a nice plus. We had a great time and would happily book this property again.

My sisters and I really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed.

We stayed as to go to the balloon festival-unfortunately due to weather, it wasn’t as expected. However-the house was great and we felt right at home. Made our trip a little better. Communication w host was great!

It's a great piece of the old N. Valley. It's the real deal with genuine adobe and absolutely dead quiet. Valerie was terrific and so accommodating..

A lovely home which feels like New Mexico!

I enjoyed an extended stay at this property. Tucked away in an quiet, older part of town, my stay made me feel as if I were not in the city. While in truth, everything you need or would want to do is just miles away. The property has a nice layout with lots of space in the dining and living area. The two fire places are a nice touch. It would be a great location come to come and enjoy the Balloon Fiesta or just have a quiet, comfortable getaway.

The home was a nice size. Bedrooms were decent, the bathrooms were large. The pictures led us to believe there was a bigger backyard than what was really there. Location was good. it was easy access to get to the balloon festival, which is why we were there, restaurants and the highway. The owners were very quick to respond. Would have liked to have TV's in the bedroom.

We would stay at this property again ! Well maintained,equipped and clean. Convenient to all attractions . Valerie and Tomas are most interesting and willing to share their wonderful lifestyle. ! Perfect to interact with if required or desired .

The owner was very helpful to us while we were there, to navigate the new neighborhood and figure things out. The home itself was very nicely decorated and very comfortable, and well supplied with necessary items such as coffee, condiments and other spices, laundry detergent, etc. The neighborhood was quiet and restful. It was a great base for exploring Albuquerque.

We drove from OH to stay a month and soak in the culture. After 3 weeks, our daughter & twin grands joined us. The house is quiet and private and in great proximity to a lot of things: we rented bikes and rode the Bosque 2x, we liked the Flying Star Restaurant & Mary & Tito's, we did about a dozen museums, took a Segway tour, rode the Tramway, visited The Nature Center, visited Pueblo Ruins, hiked. But when we wanted down time in the evening, the LR & DR did not have adequate lighting for reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, needle work. The two lamps both focused the lighting upwards. We had to bring a BR lamp to the dining table and hook up with an extension cord (which we brought), until we needed that table the 4th week. There are throw rugs and accent rugs everywhere. For a "newly renovated" house, it fell short, in our opinion. The light w/w carpets were not replaced when they bought the house. There are dirty walking paths on the carpeting. We are in our mid-70's; stepping over throw rugs and accent rugs that won't lie flat is a concern. We finally removed as much as we could. But we also noticed during the first week that the home needed some deep cleaning. We hand cleaned the oven, all 4 drip pans, the microwave, cleaned out toaster crumbs, cleaned out the vacuum cleaner (3x) and re-vacuumed, washed throw rugs, potholders, bedspread, comforts, and removed heavy, dirty cobwebs from under the dresser. They have a family member doing the housekeeping. When we rent we expect the rental to be cleaner than this property was. Also, during the 4th week when there were 5 of us, for which we paid extra, we found having a person sleep on a 5' couch (not a hide-a-bed), did not work. It also prevented our enjoyment of the TV. Linens were not provided for the couch; we had to ask. As to wheelchair accessibility, keep in mind - both bathroom entry doors are only 21" wide. They kindly provided a brand new crock pot and lots of baking pans when we pointed out our needs. But twice they merely dropped items off at the front door and quickly left. They are both busy people with full time jobs. We were disappointed that they were so preoccupied with other things; we were merely "the renters". Our 15 year old granddaughters have been taking Spanish, and we were hoping there might be time for some conversation. Overall, a disappointing rental due to lack of cleanliness, and it didn't live up to expectations. We gave it points for Location.

My wife and I felt the accommodations here were much better than we expected. The house was furnished with everything we could possible need for our comfort. Very nice furnishings in the living room and dining area. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and also had very good modern appliances The bedrooms were furnished with very excellent quality beds and had ample dressers and bed side tables. The bathrooms and closet storage areas were also excellent. The location of the house was at the end of a cul-de-sac where we felt very secure and safe with our vehicle inside a spacious double size garage. Grocery stores and restaurants were very good and close. We found this rental location was excellent for the many things we wanted to see around the city and with the excellent street layout driving to various locations was relatively short and easy. Valerie and Thomas were very gracious hosts and kept in contact to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as pleasant as possible. In summary, when we return for another visit we will definitely try to stay in this rental home again. We just do not see how we could possibly improve on this experience for comfort and location.

Home was clean and comfortable. Several extras really appreciate. Local cookies cold water on arrival. Was a little hard to find at 2am after extremely long day traveling. Responded to question/need very quickly. Would recommend

Home was comfortable and a good size for us. The master br got very cold. Everything worked. Missing a few kitchen items but all in all in all a nice stay. Thought the neighborhood was going to be nice more an area to go for a walk. But it was kind of industrial. Still close enough to things we we doing

Brought the family for a week to experience the Balloon Fiesta. This was a great house for us and our 2 teen boys. Plenty of space and the cul-de-sac was perfect for throwing the football. The house had everything we needed. Valerie and Thomas greeted us upon arrival and were available if we needed them. Nothing but a positive experience for us!

Quiet & comfortable with everything we needed for our stay

Our second stay here confirmed our original satisfaction with this house. It is nicely furnished, very comfortable and had everything we needed from the moment we walked in. The large laundry room is a real plus. We enjoyed opening the screened doors and windows -- the private patio is delightful as is the entrance garden. Large lavender bushes greet you as you drive in.

Spacious...had all the necessary items to make the stay enjoyable.

Cozy, comfortable, fully furnished with everything we needed to set up a home away from home. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood, perfect get away or motel alternative.

This is a very roomy and well-appointed house. Everything has been planned for guests' convenience - no need to run out right away for coffee filters, paper towels, bath soap, etc. Nice touches that reflect New Mexico heritage add to the experience. It's location in the desirable North Valley is a short drive to Old Town and very close to a great eatery, Flying Star, as well as a really fine bookstore and other unique shops. We stayed a week, and would definitely rent it again for any length of time.

Everything about our stay at this property was great. It was very comfortable and felt like we were right at home. Valerie was very accommodating and was very welcoming as well as easy to get in touch with. Highly recommended!!
