About this villa rental
Located in Willamette Valley, this attractive villa for $1,433 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Tuscan style, 3 level Villa. Five large bedrooms (with private baths), one extra bonus bedroom 2 sets of bunk beds, 3 outdoor decks, 2 large main level and lower-level patios, furnished. Large theatre room, large game room with full kitchen, pool table, foosball, 14 ft shuffleboard and sauna. Sitting room in upper level with 60-inch TV and sun deck. Gourmet kitchen and breakfast sunroom with a view of our vineyard and winery. Dining room with bar. Large comfortable living room with 20-foot fireplace (winter months only) with 3 sets of French doors opening to very large furnished covered deck. 2 laundry rooms. Sound system throughout the house and outside. Private road to house with private setting. Wifi. Fruit orchard and 400 blueberry bushes, wild blackberries and our winery a short walk through the vineyard down the hill. Plenty of walking/hiking available on property and in the Eola Hills. We designed and built our home and moved in 2003. We reside here 6 months of the year. We planted our vineyard in 2001, built our Winery in 2007 and did all of the landscaping along the way.

Our family stayed 4 nights and the house was amazing. There was so much to do on the property (pool, hot tub, game room, theatre, indoor basketball court, etc.) It was perfect for all our teenagers. The house was so spacious and comfortable that we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other, even with 10 of us staying here. The grounds are lovely and it was so peaceful. Walking through the vineyards was a great way to stretch our legs. We are already talking about staying here again!

This was the perfect property to spend the weekend in wine country with friends and family! Incredible views, amazing amenities, great location, and lots of vineyards nearby! It may be hard to believe, but the villa is even more exquisite than the pictures represent... James met us upon arrival to give us a quick tour and was very kind and helpful with any questions that came up. We would 100% recommend this villa - everything was perfect!!

This place is perfect for a group trip to Willamette Valley. It is immaculately maintained and the concierge, James, is very helpful. They have everything you need to cook or host a large group. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
One thing to note is that one of the rooms, the "Master Bed" is really just a bonus room off of the 1st floor suite where they have added a bed. It's not really ideal for a separate couple.

The house was well kept but not quite as we expected. They did their best to make it right, and we were not in a position to consistently deal with things that would not be a massive deal to us on this trip. The hot tub, pool, and upstairs jetted tub did not work during our stay. The sound system throughout was also not in working order for us. The Large Master downstairs has no closet or a place to hang clothes, so we put what we could in drawers and drapped things over chairs. It wasn't worth it to track down hangers and use closets in the front foyer. It is a beautiful home. We had 10 adults in our group, which is hard to accommodate. The theater and downstairs game area were great fun at night. We enjoyed the valley, and the property manager did communicate and tried to make right what they could. It wasn't quite as we expected, but it was clean and well-stocked. They had fruits and cheese for us in the fridge and wine for us, which was a nice touch.

Twelve of us from Colorado stayed this house on our first Oregon wine trip to celebrate my wife's 65th Birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have picked a better house to stay in.
Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was great and we had a chef come in one night to fix our dinner, which was fantastic. The house had plenty of room that even with of us we never felt cramped and had our own space. The grounds were great and every morning some of our group went walking through the property and roads amongst the gorgeous vineyards.
Heidi couldnt have been more helpful and was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend this house, just not when we go back!

Breathtaking
The Methven's home is gorgeous. A wonderful place to stay with a group while tooling around Oregon wine country. They are highly communicative, all the how tos were nicely organized in a book, and the house and property was even more stunning than in the pictures. You must go down the hill to the Methven Winery during your stay, do a tasting there, and buy a few bottles!
We're definitely coming back to the Methven's for future stays with friends & family.

Perfect for a milestone birthday celebration!
The villa Gould not have been more perfect for our group. The bedrooms were large, the meeting areas through the property were comfortable and inviting, the kitchen was set up well for s large group and the pool/lanai made enjoying the outdoors a must!
Jill and Allen were wonderful hosts. We would highly recommend this property to anyone and we will definitely be back!

Amazing villa in Willamette
We had several couples share this villa and do some wine tasting in the valley. It is perfectly located and Allen could not be a more gracious host. He frequently checked in, via text, to make sure we didn’t need anything to make our stay more enjoyable. He was a great resource for restaurants, wineries, and local sight seeing. I would recommend this villa and overall experience without hesitation.

Excellent location for Wine Tasting
Just got back from a very relaxing, enjoyable stay at the Methven property. Could not say enough wonderful things about the homeowners, the property and the location. Allen and Jill were wonderful to work with. They met us at the home and gave us a complete walk-through and answered all questions we had with graciousness and a wonderful sense of humor. We went for a long weekend with 4 other couples and everyone had their own well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. The chefs kitchen was so much fun to cook in and there were many seating areas for everyone to relax and enjoy. Game nights were so much fun - as there is a well stocked game room with pool, foosball and shuffle board. Will definitely recommend staying here to anyone going to the Willamette Valley.

Fantastic place for a weekend with friends.
Our Chicago crew thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. It's well located within wine country and, even better, has its own vineyard and tasting room for those who are so inclined. It's a comfortable space for group dinners, has a fantastic game room, beautiful grounds and a well appointed kitchen.

Complete Oregon Wine Country Experience!
Jill and Allen’s home was the perfect “home base” for discovering the beautiful Willamette Valley! Their hospitality from the minute we arrived was top notch. The home is spacious and had all of the amenities we needed and more! Jill arranged a wine tasting at their winery, which we really enjoyed, especially as a kickoff to our trip. Allen provided us with recommendations for wineries, restaurants , drivers and even a chef! Having a personal chef come and cook for us was wonderful!
The house was perfect for our party of 8 (4 couples), and we had space for even more! We loved the game room, theater room and of course the pool!
My husband and I are already considering going back to the Methven Villa with our kids for a family trip to explore more of Oregon. We had such a lovely time! Thanks again to Allen and Jill for contributing to another successful wine trip for this group of wine lovers! Cheers!

This was a wonderful few days. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our group enjoyed the property in it's entirety . Walks in the vineyard, tastings at the winery on property, game room, on and on.
The owners were extremely nice and easy to work with.

Amazing Spacious Warm Villa for Large Groups
We had a group of 10 celebrating a few 40th birthdays. We could have not found a better home to spend our 5 days. We loved how spacious the house was - everyone had their own bathroom/bedroom. We utilized the gorgeous kitchen and spent every afternoon/early evening in the pool and hot tub. Alan and Jill were gracious hosts making sure we had everything we needed. We appreciated Alan providing a fun and informational wine tasting for us. This home is welcoming and a great location to spend time with family or friends. If you are thinking about booking - don't hesitate - it was spectacular!

Wonderful Home in a Beautiful Setting
We stayed in May of 2018 and had a wonderful experience at the Villa. Pretty conveniently located relative to Portland if you need to be there (1 hour to 1:30 drive depending on traffic) and also not to far to the coast (about 1:30). The setting is breathtaking and the home is beautiful. Our host was very nice and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us helpful tips about the area. The experience was five star from check in to check out. Highly recommended.

What an amazing house and amazing hosts. Allen and Jill are absolutely great hosts Allen went out of his way to make sure our stay was special. There was plenty of room for six couples to spread out. We had a spectacular stay enjoying a new found togetherness in the spacious, well appointed kitchen; gathering in the great room; the privacy of the bedrooms; and the patios, pool, downstairs games, etc. The wine 101 tour that Allen took us through was one of our highlights of the Trip. All the couples are asking when can make a return trip and stay at the villa again!! Allen & Jill thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality!!
