This was our second stay in this unit and we plan to return next year. Unit is comfortable, clean, homey. Everything was in working order. The view is exceptional, and the location, close to the golf course, is wonderful. Highly recommended for a couple.

The property was clean and beautiful. We arrived late and the check in process after 9pm is rather unacceptable. We were told to be patient and we would be rewarded for waiting at the gate for another resident to hopefully arrive and open it for us. Our other option was to get a motel per the property manager. However, there weren’t any motels in the area. We waited for 40 minutes and finally one of us walked through the property about a half mile in the dark to get the key for the gate. We unfortunately got caught in construction on our drive in and couldn’t arrive before 9. There should be an alternate solution.
As for the home, it’s lovely and has everything you need. The pillows need replaced (they are all flat and old) and some more comfortable furniture would be nice but what is there works.

Only one tiny thing I would improve if the host. Shampoo the kitchen area rug or remove it. The setting was nicely clean otherwise.

Great place, great view, convenient location to town. Check in instructions were ambiguous as were departure guidelines. ( Having to dispose of trash, 5 miles round trip was a first!) But would stay there again!

A lovely, peaceful, nicely decorated mountain vacation rental. The views from the sun porch and deck were beautiful. Minutes to the town of Franklin where there are cute shops and restaurants. The property manager was responsive and helpful. This unit is one side of a duplex, but feels like a single dwellling. I would love to stay there again!

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. Exactly as described and as it looked in the pictures. Better in person. The view is beautiful and serene. Superbly clean and organized. Attention to details. Decor is just perfect. Not too much not too little. The sun room is where we spent all our time. It's just great! Location is wonderful. Hiking and waterfalls close by. Will love to be a return guest. Great property!

I found a spotless, comfortable villa with all of the amenities you could want. The view from the deck was lovely, and the rockers on the porch proved my favorite spot. The location is not too far from town and nicely located for access to a variety of activities in Western North Carolina. I wish I had the time to enjoy the golf course and many of the other summer attractions.

The property was clean and neat. I would suggest to the owners that they invest in higher quality towels, a few premium channels for the TV, some higher quality silverware, more plates, glasses and some staples in the kitchen which are non perishable and can be used by the renters ( ie. olive oil, vegetable oil, plastic wrap, a few spices, etc). These suggested additions would have made our stay significently more enjoyable.

I was told that the caption problem on the tv I
experienced on a previous visit had been corrected.
It was not and I had to look at captions my entire

What an amazing house with stunning views and such sweet owners!
What a stunning view this house has. The photos just don’t do it justice! The kitchen had all the comforts of home, the grill was easy to use too! We had a slight hiccup with the air conditioner and Jerry was so nice to come out and take care of us. Jerry and Sally also ran into us at dinner one night (gracious plates, check them out) and was so nice to give us ideas for plans for the evening! Couldn’t have asked for better hosts they were incredibly sweet and kind people!

Peaceful View
My husband and I love the Western Carolina Mountains. We decided to make a last minute trip to look at some property in Mill Creek. We were fortunate to find this home and hoped it would give us a feel for the area. We loved it. Unfortunately the house hunt didn’t work out but we definitely will come back here . The place is lovely, everything that we needed. The porch and views are spectacular. The drive up was very easy. The golf course looked well maintained . We will be back.

Beautiful property with a wonderful view. Really like the kitchen and the layout of it, overlooking the great room. Well-appointed kitchen had all the items needed to cook a good meal. Nice comfy bed. A big bonus was the glassed in sunroom. And again, what a view!

Great Villa Property
The villa on the ridge is a great property. The views are excellent and the accommodations terrific. We had to leave early for a family emergency and Sally was very accommodating since we had to leave quickly. We will be back and recommend this villa to our friends and family. Thank you Sally!

All of the Comforts of Home
We felt so much at home. The unit had everything we needed - kitchen utensils, spices and condiments, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, and brand new BBQ grill. Fabulous view, butterfly/humming bird bush, incredible night sky (with telescope), fun mountain golf, only a few miles from Ingles Supermarket and Main Street shops. Comfortable, relaxing, stylish, eclectic. We had a much needed 2-week vacation and appreciated the loving care put into this home.

Perfect getaway
Everything about this house was as pictured and described. The king size bed was so comfortable -- its not often we stay anywhere where we like the bed as much as our own! The views are amazing. We spent a lot of time in the sunroom -- a very cozy room. We ate at the Root & Barrell every night. It had outdoor seating; great food and felt "safe" during Covid. My only recommendation for the house, would be more lamps (light) in the family room. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. My husband also enjoyed the golf course on the property.

Property was very well maintained and cared for.
We appreciated all the little details on the owners decorating style. The view was gorgeous, and the location was perfect for our golfing outing.
We loved Franklins quaint shops. From antiquing to peach 🍑 Ice cream and coffee... and dinner was amazing at Root and Barrel.

This villa was amazing. The view is incredible, the furnishings were very comfortable and adequate for a short stay. The kitchen is totally stocked with what you need and more. Due to Covid, we cooked many meals in that kitchen and never needed any cookware that wasn't already there. We are very picky about our own home as far as comfort and cleanliness, this place was just like our own home. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very sufficient. I used the laundry as well, very clean and functioning. We walked every evening, the residents who live there either year round or for the summer were very sweet and friendly. The garage was an added bonus!! We garage our cars at home and it was so nice to be able to pull it in the garage and secure it at night. If I have to say one negative just so you know this is a "real" review, would be that the dining table was not great for me, as I like to do puzzles and it is a picnic type table, uneven top- that is seriously a lame negative, but that's all I can come up with. We will definitely be back next summer.
