About this villa rental
When you walk in the front door you are greeted with an open floor plan and vaulted ceiling. The master bedroom has an en suite and is appointed with a king size bed, flat screen tv and a sitting area for those relaxing days for reading. This 2BR and 2BA dog friendly villa has a fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed as well as a Murphy bed and the guest bathroom has heated floors to keep your toes warm after a shower. New comforts are added frequently to make your vacation more pleasurable. You will be delighted to see that both bathrooms have been totally updated with granite and tile and the open floor plan provides ample natural light which adds to the spaciousness of this villa. It is located on the second floor with a great view of the golf course off the wrap around deck. Beachwalk is a 3 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to shopping and plenty of restaurants. Shipyard Plantation has 2 convenient access gates to Pope Ave and 278 on the South End of Hilton Head. We offer wonderful shaded biking and walking paths throughout the neighborhoods along with a beautiful beach, golfing and Van Der Meer Tennis Club where Billie Jean King got her start in tennis. Now you get to vacation with your entire family in Hilton Head! Our beaches are pet friendly until 10am and after 5pm all summer and are welcome all day after September. We have many restaurants that are pet friendly along with our outlets and malls welcoming pets. Come experience Hilton Head Island where we welcome all family members! . We liked our stay. The steps are pretty treacherous and steep. The outside (common) area is not kept up very well, trash on the ground, etc. which is NO fault of the owner. Loved how well furnished the kitchen was. Beds were comfortable and the condo was very clean and tastefully updated.

Barbara's condo is bigger and better in person than in the pictures. Great location as it's in one of the closest buildings to the beach in the Beach Walk complex. Beds are really comfortable, condo is quiet, and beach access is an easy walk across two parking lots. The beach locker contained several chairs, umbrellas and a beach cart with room to spare for some of our games and dog gear. It was really convenient to leave our stuff there rather than tote it back and forth to the condo. Barbara was very responsive whenever we had a question or need. We'll definitely be back.

I think this is the third time we have stayed at Barbara’s place, and it didn’t disappoint!
We stayed for two weeks so we were able to fly our kids in for a quick weekend with us.
Barbara’s place is updated, clean, with a full kitchen so we could cook when we wanted to and close to the beach!
Can’t wait to go back.

This was one of the most relaxing and most beautiful weather weeks we've had in 25 yrs! Our villa was absolutely beautiful and convenient to beach and pool. We love being able to take our dog. We actually stayed at the Sonesta for a few days before checking in to our villa which is also pet friendly! Would definitely stay there again.

The place is well furnished and has everything that could be needed for your vacation stay, the owner is very accommodating. We were there during a hurricane and the owner checked in on us prior to it to be sure everything was OK.
We hope to make it back there in the near future.

My family and I had a lovely time at our second visit to this condo. It is very tastefully decorated with luxe amenities like the bathrooms and kitchen. Easy walk to beach. Easy check in/ check out. It is on a second floor which is not a problem for us, however we do have little kids and the railing was not attached at the top of one set of stairs + there were some nails sticking out of the bottoms sides of the stairs. Only complaint really, I’m sure that is in the process of being fixed. We’d stay again and thank Barbara for sharing her home.

We enjoyed our extended stay at 108 Beachwalk. The property is exactly like the description. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook your favorite dishes, the proximity to the beach can’t be beat and it’s a very comfortable unit. We encountered a couple of minor issues during our stay. Barbara was responsive and had them addressed as quickly as possible. This was our fifth trip staying at a property located in Shipyard, however, It was our first time staying at Beachwalk and we definitely hope to stay here or in this development again! Minor suggestions to maintain 5-star status: (1) offer cleaning services for stays that exceed one week, (2) if the door code is set to expire during an extended stay, make sure to inform guests/renters to avoid possible lockouts, (3) repair the broken hand rail, couple of wobbly stairs and remove or cover all exposed rusted nails as a safety measure. Highly recommend this property.

This was our 5th or 6th stay at Barbara’s condo. This was our first stay without our fur baby in her pet friendly home. As I told Barbara, my family only wanted to stay there even though our little guy passed away recently. This condo is literally a home away from home. Thank you for sharing it with all of us Barbara.

The condo was great! We enjoyed our stay. The beach was a bit further of a walk than we anticipated and that ended up being a struggle for my mother in law since the shuttle didn’t run most of the week. However, overall, we had a great trip and the condo was phenomenal.

This condo was by far the best place we have ever stayed on HHI, and we've been vacationing on the island for 10 years. It was BEAUTIFUL, clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable, and it is a 5 minute walk or 2 minute bike ride to the beach.
We will definitely be returning!

This condo is beautifully decorated, featuring lovely tiled showers and modern furnishings. The kitchen is stocked to the hilt with appliances--I can't imagine what more you could need! Access to the beach is super and the locker provided at the boardwalk is a godsend! Host did a fantastic job communicating and making the parking pass pickup a breeze. Would recommend this condo to others without reservations and with high praise. What a lovely week at HHI!

First, Barbara was a great host. Only hitch it's on the second floor. But manageable The unit could not be more well equipped showers. Waterpressure AC spot on. Having a locker at the beach is the best. And just a 5 minute walk. We've already booked for next year. 2024.

We loved our stay, the unit had everything we needed, and had extras that made it the perfect stay. The view out and over the deck made us feel we were in a treehouse and was very private. The bedrooms are as pictured, beds very comfortable with the master bed being adjustable. We loved the location so close to the beach, and close to everything we needed. Barbara was great checking in on us and being available to answer any questions. We will definitely be back! Janet

We've stayed at this property for the last several years. Our stays have always been exceptional vacations. Property owner is extremely responsive and concerned about any issue that might come up. Property is also extremely well stocked, very clean, and beautifully decorated. We look forward to returning again next year!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at this gorgeous condo. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable and updated. The private location just a short walk to the beach was the icing on the cake. We loved relaxing on the large deck surrounded by beautiful oaks and palms. Would definitely stay there again!

Great location and Pet Friendly
The property was clean and relaxing. Check in was easy, and the host provided a list of suggested restaurants and information about the property. Decor and appliances were updated. The beds were comfortable, especially the master suite with an adjustable bed. Nights were enjoyable sitting on the deck with the family and puppy. Another plus, our puppy enjoyed seeing other dogs on the property as well as the beach where he was able to play in the ocean. Dogs are allowed in the beach before 10 am and after 5 pm. Bikes were available for rental at various companies. The beach locker was a huge help to store items and use chairs and other beach accessories that were already in the locker. There is a sidewalk where you can walk or ride your bike to the beach. The pool is only a short walk from the property and has plenty of chairs for guests. Our family had a great stay and would recommend this property!

Excellent location, excellent condition and having access to chairs and umbrella stored in a locker at the beach made everything much more simple. Coffee every morning on the second level deck over-looking the golf course was wonderful. Quick ride of the bikes down to the beach and of course all the wonderful activities Shipyard and HHI have to offer. No longer any need to stop by an office to pick up keys as all is now electronic. So simple. Appreciate the hospitality from the owner and all the little touches that made this stay our best one yet. Looking foreword to getting back.

Wonderful condo close to the beach!
We absolutely loved our stay at Barbara’s condo! The unit is very close to the beach and the included beach locker really helped us with all of our kids beach toys and the beach items that we brought. Barbara’s unit is beautiful- better than the photos! The kitchen was fully stocked with any items that you would need. We loved the master bed that adjusted to inclines and featured a massager- we were spoiled while at Barbara’s place! Thank you and we’ll definitely be booking again!
