We enjoyed our stay. I had to clean the tub. Didn’t seem clean. The couch is uncomfortable for watching tv. We loved the area. We would stay again. Thanks

Perfect getaway for two people. Beautiful location and very quiet! Loved taking our dogs for long walks and watching the birds and squirrels play in the trees.

This has been our favorite vacation by far! Everything about this property was over and beyond any of our expectations. Between the cozy, comfortable cabin with a wrap around porch and hot tub, to the pond where we spent hours fishing, to the acres of land to roam with our dogs, each hoot of the numerous owls and cries of coyotes and gentle peaceful sounds of the creek running, we did NOT want to leave. Every detail of this property is meticulously maintained and taken care of and the small cabin has everything you will need! The owner is lovely and we so appreciated him sharing his slice of Heaven with us. We will be back! If you want to get away from it all and just have peace and quiet, this is the spot for you.

Great get away and not to far from lake Lure

Everything you could ask for in a cabin! Loved the hot tub & fire pit, chairs on the covered porch & covered bridge. TV was a bit of a challenge to find channels, but I’m used to HULU Live. Bed was very comfortable! Just an hour from Asheville & the Biltmore Estate. Teyon Eqyestrian Center is less than 30 minutes away. Buy/bring your groceries because grocery stores are a bit of a drive. I will certainly return to enjoy this cabin again!😊🎉

Not a lot of room if that’s what you’re looking for. Did come with all the amenities we needed for cooking washing clothes and storage. We weren’t planning on spending a lot of time indoors anyway, so it worked well for us.

Husband and I stayed here for our Anniversary. Perfect for just the two of us. It is peaceful and quiet. The stream, covered bridge, and pond make the property so beautiful. We caught catfish and bluegill from the pond each evening. We used the hot tub every night after spending the day hiking at chimney rock, grandfather mountain, and rough ridge lookout. We also drove to pretty place chapel for the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen! Took us about 1.5 hours but worth it! We also found some gold at Lucky Strike where you can pan for gold. Really enjoyed our time here at the this cabin. Perfect for us!

It was absolutely perfect for me and my pup. She loved the backyard and swimming in the pond. Perfect little cabin for solo trips and couples. I would 100% rebook in the future

Property was beautiful. Cabin was private. Very clean. Everything that you could possibly need was provided. If your looking for a secluded tranquil place , this is it! Property is wooded with a creek and pond, fire pit, grill, hot tub. This place is a hidden gem.

The view at this cabin is absolutely breath taking! We walked some of the property on one of our days, our dogs and 8 year old son loved all the exploring. We met Bill, he was amazing as well! The cabin is small with a very large wrap-around porch. We spent almost all of our time outside.

Nice quiet cabin. Went for a weekend getaway. Enjoyed the scenery and the fishing pond was our favorite. Well maintained area clean. I locked the key in and owner had brought one immediately. Enjoyed the stay

If you have a small family or are a couple and looking for a getaway this is it. We loved this property, it was easy to find but yet felt rustic and the kids loved the covered bridge, the big porch, grassy areas, the creek, pond, hot tub, and cabin loft area. My 10 year old said it felt like a “treehouse” to him. My two year old loves the covered bridge. We loved the cabin and caught some HUGE carp and catfish in the pond. Stocked for sure. The hot tub was an added plus and very relaxing. It was mild weather when we visited so it was not too hot at night to enjoy the hot tub. Felt very private, There is another cabin on the hill but you don’t see it for the trees. I kept wondering how there were virtually no flying bugs bothering us. The wasp/hornet/yellow jacket traps on the porch are a great idea and work very well. If you forget anything, forest city is right around the corner. We did end up leaving hours before checkout because there was flooding alerts for our area back home in sc and we didn’t want to drive in the down pour. All in all it was a good time.

This is a cute property in a remote location. It is very private. I was not overly impressed by the surrounding area as it didn't have the charm of the Lake Lure area or spectacular views found in locations closer to the Blue Ridge Mountains. A nice place to stay for a relaxing vacation with your spouse and dog.

Beautiful cabin and property. Very private and quiet. This was exactly what we were looking for.

This is our 2nd time staying at this cabin. We have a great time while here. The property is beautiful. My kids have the best time playing in the stream and fishing in the pond. We can not wait to come back!

Very private and secluded and a great value. We loved the sound of the creek. The hot tub was super clean. We are planning to come up again soon with the whole family.

My wife and I spent our 15th anniversary at the cabin together and absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back, such a wonderful getaway from it all.

This was our second trip, and we look forward to our next visit!

We were close enough to visit many places throughout that area and still make it back to enjoy the property. Would definitely recommend as a couple getaway
