Room in the kitchen adjacent to the refrigerator for your beach coolers to get loaded up.. * Large dining table with 8 chairs that have backs-no uncomfortable bar stools! Great for playing board games & enjoying family time. * Large paver patio with seating for 8 to socialize outside & enjoy the view of the pond and wildlife. Binoculars are in the villa. * Abundance of books, classic board games (Scrabble, Monopoly, Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, Risk, Trivial Pursuit, playing cards, puzzles, etc) * Beautiful pool and clay tennis courts just steps from the unit. * Miles of walking , running and bicycling paths in Shipyard located under huge trees with Spanish Moss. Outside of Shipyard you can ride on public paths all around the island. * Nearby is the new Low Country Celebration Park https://www.hiltonheadislandsc.gov/parks/LowcountryCelebration/ with free parking. *Great shopping, dining, entertainment and night life is just out the Pope Avenue Gate at Coligny Plaza, live music at the Tiki Hut (currently under renovation scheduled to open in May with beach front stage), music and dining at the Bar-Muda Triangle located on Greenwood Dr. near the Sean Pines Entrance. Recently opened at the Pope Avenue gate and a short walk from the villa is The Bank...a neat beer garden and dining mall with tons of outdoor seating and room for kids to run around. * Outside the Main gate on Highway 278, is Wexford Village, Shoppes on the Parkway, Miniature Golf and more dining options. Shelter Cove Town Centre is just 3.9 miles away with a multitude of dining and retail options. Fresh Market, Harris Teeter, Publix, & Piggly Wiggly grocery stores & CVS, Walgreens Pharmacy are all very close to the villa. *The fire rescue station is right across the road for emergency life saving services. *The Studio Restaurant is fabulous and within walking distance. *Previous guests have enjoyed the lack of driving needed due to so many dining, shopping, recreation and music venues which are easily accessed with a brief bike ride or pleasurable stroll. *To access Shipyard Beach there is a free beach parking lot adjacent to the Sonesta Resort. During peak season you are provided with a pass to access the Shipyard beach parking lot. If that lot is full there is an overflow lot with continuous shuttle service which drops you off right at the boardwalk to the beach. If you choose to bike to the beach it is approximately 1 mile using the bike paths. . *No motorcycles, utility trailers, campers, boats, etc. are allowed to be brought into the Plantation. A designated parking spot is in the carport to the left of the unit marked number 4. There are additional spots in front of the villa and adjacent to the tennis courts. No parking on the grass will be allowed. You are provided with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, bath soap, dishwashing soap, laundry machine tablets, etc. You are provided one set of towels for each guest. There is a Dollar Tree close to the villa where you can buy other household staples if needed. We do not provide beach chairs, bikes or beach towels as that became impossible to manage from a distance. There are numerous places to rent bicycles with online coupons for the week and they will be delivered to the property prior to your arrival if you choose to book ahead. Beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented at the beach or there are a multitude of stores nearby to purchase these items. If you have items to donate when your week is up they appreciate that also. You can find them on Facebook. I am a very responsive host and always happy to answer any questions by text or phone call . I can give suggestions for dining, shopping, recreation, music venues, etc. My goal is to ensure you have a great vacation. **Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals during peak season. Our cleaners do not clean on Sundays. I can be more flexible with different configurations of dates during the winter. **HOA prohibits pets and any type of smoking on the premises for short term renters. **A Ring doorbell with camera is on the front door for exterior security only.
