Emerald Sol is a newly updated vacation rental cottage in Destin, FL located just steps away from the Gulf of Mexico, so you can stroll down and enjoy the beach, lounge in the sugar white sand, or catch a breathtaking sunset. Emerald Sea can be rented by itself or with the home behind it, Emerald Sea, for a two family or group vacation. ***Emerald Sol and Emerald Sea now offer a brand new private pool shared between both homes! The pool can be heated for an additional fee.*** This updated pet-friendly vacation rental home has been recently remodeled and is perfect for a beach vacation! The master bedroom features a luxurious king size bed, and the the second bedroom offers a twin over full bunk bed with a full trundle. The full bathroom has just recently been renovated as well. The living room also contains a queen sleeper sofa. French doors lead to a private patio, where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning and delight in the fresh air rolling in from the Gulf, which is only a short stroll away. This vacation rental home can easily accommodate up to 9 guests! Emerald Sol and Emerald Sea both have the same layout, contain a washer and dryer in each home, and share a private pool between the two homes. This is the perfect situation for a two family vacation or a beach getaway with a group of friends. Beach access: Just across the street and a few minute walk from the rental, is a newly build beach access for your use! This beach access includes parking for vehicles, including golf cart parking and bike parking, with a large deck plaza leading down to the white sandy beach, an ADA accessible boardwalk/dune walkover, restroom facilities, and a picnic pavilion with dune walkover. Bed Sizes: Master - King Second - Twin/Full Bunk with Full Trundle Living Room - Queen Sleeper Sofa ***Minimum 25+ Age Requirement. Pet Friendly w/ $250 non-refundable fee. 1 Pet only. Max weight 20lb.*** *Please note peak seasons may require 6-7 night stays, otherwise, a 3 night minimum year-round. *We also offer monthly rates for stays during our winter season. Location was perfect, quick walk to the beach. Management company was very responsive with issues.
House was old, not remodeled as advertised. Exterior - deck boards sticking up and loose. Fascia boards rotting and falling apart. Interior - cheap flooring not put in correctly, coming apart. Kitchen not up to date. Fresh paint and new furniture nice though.

Great location really close to the beach access. The house had everything including toys for the kids. Really nice place. Only thing is that it doesn't get very dark at night perhaps it could use some blackout curtains. Also we noticed some pet hair under the couch pillows. Overall very satisfied.

We recently stayed in the Emerald Sol house. There were eight people that stayed and we managed only having 1 bathroom the entire week...we were a little scared about this! I would definitely like to try and rent the 2 houses together next time to be able and have pool access whenever instead of sharing the time with another family. I just feel like this would be more personal. But, overall, everything went well. The house is so close to the beach which is excellent! We rented a golf cart and were basically able to use it the whole week instead of driving car because everything we needed was pretty close. It was a relaxing and stress free week which was exactly what we were looking forward to having.

We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Sol, and found it to be a nice house for the 4 of us. We were bummed that the beach access down Alamo street was under construction which made for a longer haul to the beach with two little ones. The shared pool was nice to have, but I am not sure I would rent a house again that provides a shared pool over a pool designated just for our house. Overall, I would recommend Emerald Sol!

This property worked well for us, just two couples. Everything was comfortable and the walk to the beach was short and simple.

We loved the location of this property. We walked to pretty much everything. The house is cute, but needs a few updates here and there. If we had an issue, the property management team came out same day, that's awesome! The pool was prefect for our kids, there is a shallow wading area and then a deeper swimming side. The pool supply shed was very messy when we got there, I cleaned it up, and the pool guy who lives close by was very grateful! After that he made sure the pool was in pristine condition for us. Overall, we really did enjoy our stay. FYI, bring earplugs to sleep because there are 2 huge party houses on both sides of you.

Well, this was our 2nd stay here and I still love it. Close enough to the beach, but away from the noise. Very homey with just enough stuff, for a comfortable stay. We heated the pool, thank goodness, it was a perfect.

This was an ideal location, with easy access to the beach with multiple attractions in the area. Easy walk to nearby market and restaurants along the beach. We really enjoyed having a pool at the property and that it was on a dead end street with minimal traffic. The house had everything we needed and more. This place helped make our vacation so enjoyable.

Emerald Sol was the PERFECT place for our family. We rented this property and other family members rented the 2nd property. Home was just as described, less than 5 min walk from the beach, private pool, grills for BBQ, a share shed with all the pool toys you'll ever need, and off street parking on a dead end street made for little traffic. Paradise!

We had to go out and buy a skillet in order to cook meals as the ones provided are in very poor shape and I would cook or eat anything out of them. The front door also needs help as it is not very secure. I believe a good yank would certainly open the locked door. I think this should be fixed immediately.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the Emerald Sold property. Had everything we needed. Clean and great location. Nice pool. We like to cook and make most of our meals. Kitchen had everything we needed.
My only complaint, dogs are NOT allowed on the beach unless you own property. We take our dog everywhere and he loves the beach. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering it was quiet due to off season and COVID. I understand this has nothing to do with the rental but still important to know.
