I brought my wife, and two kids to this beautiful beach home for the week. It is as advertised. Directly across the street from the Beach, awesome little pool to take a dip, incredible views, close to town for food, and very clean. Leigh was very easy to talk to and prompt with any responses we needed. We are taking home a lot of great memories. Thank you!

Great beach house….. We made great use of the Pool in the backyard and beach access across the street. Nicely and tasteful furnishings yet comfortable. The owner Leigh was a pleasure to work with and responded immediately. The best beach house we have rented. Looking forward to returning to this amazing home for many years to come.

Awesome house, great size for a single family. Owners communicated awesome. Highly recommend also my youngest started a home journal. If you stay here please write your week experience so we can read next time we stay. Enjoy.

Property is suited well for family of 4. Definitely where shoes when around the deck and pool due to nail pops and splinters. 1 mile walk to the mini store, ice cream and coffee shop. Easy close access to the beach.

What an amazing spot of paradise. Great location, and perfect size for our family of four. Pool was just perfect when we had enough sunny beach time. Was able to walk to the coffee shop almost every morning. We will visit again!

Great ocean view, fabulous pool, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Love easy access to beach. Porch chairs need refurbishing, noisy street in front but I’d stay again with girlfriends.

This little house was perfect for our week-long stay in Holden Beach! There were only four of us - my husband and I and our 15 year-old daughter and her friend - and there was plenty of space for all of us to have our privacy when we needed it. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need (and then some!). This is the first time we stayed in a second row house and it exceeded all of our expectations. Public access RIGHT across the street and you can see/hear the ocean from the front deck. The traffic can be a little noisy at times, but it's people watching at its best! For a quieter evening with cocktails, we moved to the back deck, where if we sat on the far end, we could still see the ocean! The pool was nice to come back to after a hot day at the beach - very refreshing and just the right depth. The deck is a little worn so be sure to wear shoes/flip flops. I got a sliver or two. Leigh was wonderful to work with, always available if we needed anything. I HIGHLY recommend visiting their ice cream shop, Saltwater Shanty. We visited 4 times for after dinner dessert! Yum! :) Thank you so much for a wonderful visit to one our favorite destinations!

My cousin and I had a fabulous time. We absolutely loved the place! The house itself was clean and the kitchen was stocked well with dishes and everything you need to prepare meals. Leigh was super attentive to any questions or needs we had. We loved the decor and all the little touches everywhere in the house. Thanks Leigh for everything, We will certainly be returning!

This property is a great value for the rate. Second row with an ocean view, new beach access directly across the street, and a private pool!! The kitchen is nicely stocked as well. The owner is always prompt to reply with any questions (or issues if you have them).

Another great visit! Can’t thank Leigh enough for all her help figuring this out in the middle of a pandemic! Can’t wait to come back next year!

Enjoyed the walkway to the beach! Loved sitting on the front porch with coffee in the morning. The pool is nice just boards around it need some work. Got a couple of spinners in foot from it.

This is the best second row location we've ever had at Holden Beach. There is a new public access directly across the street from the home and it's great for back and forth trips from the sand to the house. The pool area is wonderful and the kids spent a lot of time there, as well. The house is tiny, but it is exactly as advertised. We appreciated the open living/dining/kitchen area and the table for late night card games. The place was super clean and welcoming. The king mattress was much more comfortable than what we often find in rental homes. The owner was very patient with me and answered lots of questions prior to us booking . She continued with great communication once we booked, throughout the week, and at check-out as well. We loved our week here!

This is the perfect house for a small family. My boys (ages 10 and 8) really enjoy it! We've stayed twice and will be back another summer. Highly recommend.

We felt very comfortable in Leigh's home. It is decorated beautifully! We also enjoyed the salt water pool immensely. The view from the front deck is pretty, but it's loud because of the busy main road in front. If you want a quieter space, the pool is the place to have morning coffee, or evening cocktails. It's a little oasis.

We loved the pool and closeness to the beach!! Clean and relaxing beach house. Basement/garage mildew, but we highly recommend beach house to others.

Upon arrival both bathrooms and showers were not clean properly. The bathroom rugs looks like they’ve never been washed. The twin bed mattress cover had several stains. There was blood stains on a pillow. The kitchen was fully equipped however, most of the pans were too warn to use them. The washing machine was very old it did work though. The location was very close to the beach and the pool was nice and clean. We had few safety concerns about the deck because it’s very worn and several nails were exposed throughout the deck and the pool area. The furniture in the porch was so worn and dirty I was afraid to sit on it. The property management and owner was very helpful and responded very quickly when we had an issue with the door being locked and any other questions. Most of the furniture needs to be updated and replaced especially when you’re charging that much for a rental property for a week.

What a great beach getaway, such a nicely kept property!
