So the Hot tub and pool table kept on not working.. Also stayed for Christmas and I thought it would be decorated but there was just a tree in a corner with no lights. if you stay with a high number take extra paper towels and toilet paper because you will run out. The black couch is really weird the padding bumpy. the lights under the roof where the games and tables are outside two do not work so it is really dark and not ideal if you want to hang out at night. Also, only one grill listing states two grill.

We had 16 guests staying for a family Christmas getaway! Communication was prompt through Evolve we had no major issues while staying on property and did not need to contact owners. Home was decorated for Christmas which was a nice surprise! The kids enjoyed playing pool, ping pong (we had to buy the net and paddles but left them behind for next visitors) climbing on the playground structure, & corn hole! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes to eat off like plates, bowls, mugs, cups, and silverware/utensils. It does NOT have a potato peeler, Tupperware, or tongs, but we made do. The hot tub was perfect for the weather and plenty big for 8+ people. Beds were comfy and clean, but the couch was not the most pleasant to sit on.
Our only complaints would be that the floors weren’t super clean (found a previous guest sock under a bed, a dead roach in one of the rooms, and just lots of hair) the pots and pans needed a good scrubbing before we could use them as well. Overall a great stay!

The property seems like is not rented often so it wasn’t super clean. Comunication with property owner was horrible i texted days before arriving and stayed at property and still checked out and never got a text back. propane tank empty, ripped towels, no wifi service. The house overall is great but does need more attention and cleanliness.

Great house but maintenance & repairs needed
Great location and beautiful home
We had a great time but frustration with following issues that need addressed.
*Could not get responses from property Manger week before stay on property details so brought items not need and didn't have others that were needed. Property has pluses also not listed. Ping pong, outdoor playcenter, etc.
* Found different contacts than confirmation email in book when arrived. Did talk to a nice young man but did he wasn't able to fix problems.
* numerous roaches and scorpions in house
* hot tub does not heat and only 1 jet works
* gas grill only part of burners workedwhich is not acceptable when trying to grill for 20 people
* no kitchen dish towels
* several sharp pieces of flooring sticking up in front of 2 upstairs bedrooms. Glad no one got hurt
* outdoor fans and numerous lights don't work and or bulbs burned out
* numerous TV issues. Determined part of issue dead remote batteries

Worst sleep experience that I have ever paid for.🤬 My girlfriend and I both took time off work for this. Due to their greed to squeeze a couple more people in this house for money. My girlfriend and I were put in a converted closet (fire hazard?). We had to go through someone else’s room to get to ours or to use the restroom at night real convenient. Totally absolutely disappointed. I would have NEVER paid if I knew I was going to be sleeping on a GD COT! The grounds were well kept and location was conveniently close to the lake and nearby towns. The only 2 issues we ran into were that the hot tub was unusable - smelled terrible. And there was a beer can cut in half with liquid in it under the edge of one of the beds - that one of the grandkids found (luckily did not get cut on the edge of the can). Although disappointed about the hot tub, and that we could not reach the caretaker/host for help, we had a fantastic time!!

Blue bass lodge
We were very happy with the cabin beautiful! But the main reason we got this cabin was for the huge hot tub. It was broken and they couldn't fix it very disappointing for us. The kids talked about it for months prior to our stay. I understand things happen hopefully next time it will be in working order.

We arrived at 4:00 (when check-in time is) to find someone there "cleaning" the house- not a problem, finish up. Nope! She stayed until 6:15 pm. What she did, I'm unsure of, because the floors in the entire house were disgustingly dirty with dust balls EVERYWHERE like it hadn't been cleaned in months. My husband swept the living room and our bedroom and the pile of dirt and dust was insane. I didn't go up the stairs until the last day to strip linens and noticed the whole way up, that dust balls existed on each step, as well. We did have clean towels and sheets to the best of my knowledge, but the dishes were very greasy like they hadn't been cleaned. The positives to our trip were: the beautiful, working hot tub, the easy access code, & plenty of space with nice furniture. I didn't read reviews prior to going and I'm kicking myself because I always read reviews, but one of them stated a wasps nest. Well, funny thing is that we were just sitting in the living room and bam a wasp appears on the floor out of nowhere. We killed it and moved on, but I had I looked up, I'm sure I would have STILL seen the nest that other reviewers discussed months ago (meaning it STILL hasn't been taken care of). I think that the reviews speak for this house and if the owner truly cared, they'd handle all issues to make sure to not receive another bad review. It's heartbreaking that they don't care because it's a beautiful place with tons of cool features and amenities, but unfortunately, we won't ever be back after witnessing that improvement is not a priority here.

We stayed here the week of thanksgiving with friends and we had a great time. The cabin is spacious, well stocked and is in a quiet serene place. The kids enjoyed the bonfire. We all agreed we would come back if they could improve on the cleanliness and spruce/modernize the place abit. The shower liners we’re visibly dirty, full of brown scum at the bottom, there was a wasp nest in the living room ceiling and so we would see wasps inside the cabin here and there. The bedsheets and towels looked and smelled clean but they’re all navy blue- easy to hide dirt; We washed all of ours before use just to be sure. They have a washer and dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils although they were mostly old and lacked organization. We couldn’t find chopping boards- made for a trip to Walmart to get our own. The lighting was great throughout. We enjoyed the two dining spaces and spacious living area. We didn’t get to use the hot tub as it was cooler out. Also noticed the outside sprinklers smelled like sewage whenever the would come on. It’s a great property, just need improvement on a few areas. We still had a great time!!

We did enjoy the size, the number of rooms and beds, and it had plenty of seating for all of us! We loved the hot tub and appreciated that it worked! Having TVs in all of the rooms was nice and we enjoyed the large couch in the living room where we watched a few movies. We had a fire in the fire pit and they had some wood and plenty of chairs. The cleaning was not where we would expect it to be for a rental. Maybe a bigger cleaning crew with that quick of a turnaround between guests or leave a day in between rentals to allow time to clean. You can tell it hadn’t had a good deep clean in a while. There were some cleaning related issues that I texted the owner the day we were leaving, and although I haven’t heard back, I’m sure they will address everything I mentioned to them. Overall, we would stay again!

The property was absolutely beautiful! Check-in was super easy. A few things that's not listed in the description... they do have regular coffee pots and keurig. The beds are very comfortable!! You should bring a cutting board if you need one. Also bring your own cooking utensils, theirs are not very sturdy and a few are falling apart. During covid-19 I would think, especially the amount of money that goes to the cleaning fee that it would be cleaned properly. However, the countertop in the kitchen had food stuck to it. We had to go buy cleaning stuff because there was none there. Also the stove and the storage drawer under the stove where they kept the muffin pan is disgusting. Definitely needs to be cleaned. Cobwebs... big huge cobwebs...everywhere! I was told by the owner's daughter that her cousin cleaned the cabin. They were super nice people, just very hard to get in touch with by phone or by text. In the pictures the yard is kept. When we got there, it was not. The grass was high. We fought yellow jackets the whole time we were there. The owners brought us some spray. We were killing close to 20 a day. They couldn't bomb because we had small children and an infant. So hopefully they found the nest. Overall we had an amazing time! Will we go back??? Maybe...if I knew the place was cleaned better. Yeah I would!
