The rental was clean and the neighborhood was nice. Would I rent this place again? NO. It was upsetting to all of us bc we have never traveled to Destin prior to this. We were lacking "things to do" and amenity locations that are advertised to this house. The rental is advertised w/ amenities, but we were clueless time off arrival where everything was. We had to drive around the complex and stop and ask maintenance and security where/what we had access to? We also could not set a temp in the house to our own liking. Of course after paying in full, I received HOUSE RULES- Never stayed anywhere where the owner told us TO NOT change the thermostat. Lastly, the tub was completely clogged the 1st night and the dishwasher did not work and leaked all over the kitchen floor. For the price we paid, there should not have been an issue.

There was pleanty of room and we love the backyard. We had some communication issues (were never sent the door code) so I had to stand in the driveway trying to figure out how to get it. A folder with local info/things to do/how far is the walk to the beach etc. and check out instructions would have been helpful. The beds were comfortable but SQUEAKED loudly with any movement at all.... Over all it was great, would stay there again.

Very simple check in process and great amount of space that perfectly accommodated my whole family (a total of 8 people). Everyone loved the place and I had no complaints myself!

I think it would be easier to get around then driving your own vehicle. And wish a pool was closer. Don’t go to the beach in the community it’s it way way to packed. Not worth the headache go to one a few blocks away.

The resort itself is beautiful. Our specific unit was pretty nice and spacious enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. I would suggest replacing the shower head in the guest bathroom and use some heavy duty mold remover on the shower walls. You can tell the cleaners attempted to remove it, but it’s starting to show through the caulking. Also, the ice maker doesn’t work, but there’s four ice trays so it wasn’t an issue for us.

The air conditioning doesn’t go below 68. I understand about conserving energy & all. We just like it a little cooler. Outside of that, it was nice.

We really enjoyed this VRBO. It was comfortable and they responded quickly to our request for the broken coffee pot to be replaced. It would be fantastic if they left a guide for things on the resort, such as beach access, restaurants, checking in at the main gate, etc. also a golf cart rental would be helpful!!!!

The Sandestin resort area was beautiful with very scenic views. The house had 3 large bedrooms with king or queen beds! We were very disappointed that the rental didn’t have a golf cart included and that we weren’t allowed to bring in a rented one! EVERYONE traveled by golf carts and that would’ve been great for my disabled children. We had a huge issue with the homeowners association not wanting to allow us to keep our trailer on-site that transported our children’s motorized wheelchairs. I had even emailed the property manager for permission ahead of time, but this was a rule by the HOA and they said the Americans with Disabilities Act did not mean they had to allow the trailer on-site. This started our trip off with a huge amount of stress. Sandestin is not a location we would go back to.

The house and yard were great, nice quiet area to unwind. Kitchen was well stocked. Only thing that might be good for next tenants to remember is to rent a golf cart in advance as many shops are accessible by golf cart in Destin and traffic is a bit rough. the house could have used a vacuum or broom/dustpan to keep tidy during the week, this is our main comment to owner. thanks for super place!

Quick and easy. Great location.

We have stayed at this property before and love it. It’s perfect for our four legged kids who love the yard and we are close to family who live in Sandestin. The property has had some updating since our last stay and we really like the new furniture. Very cozy and always great! Thank you for the memories.

This was a lovely home with a perfect layout. There are a few things to point out that did not hinder our stay at all, but I think you should know about. 1 - the dimmer light switch to the dining room table light seemed to get warm after being on (may want to check that out). 2 - The air conditioning settings seemed to go up at night, as it got warm during the middle of the night. 3 - there seemed to be a dirty dog blanket left in the master bedroom closet causing it to smell of dog and we could not hang our clothes in there. This house is pet friendly, but there was no trace of pets anywhere except for the closet. 4 - One of the queen beds in the double bed room had 2 fitted sheets. When we took the top sheet off after our stay, the second sheet was dirty. It appears that the cleaning crew just put a clean sheet on top of a dirty one without changing it. These items are things that we wanted to make you aware of. Overall, our stay was enjoyable and the house met our needs and was very comfortable. We would stay here again.

We stayed in this unit while visiting family who lives in Sandestin during the week of Thanksgiving. We selected it due to it being pet friendly, number of bedrooms and fenced back yard. It was perfect for our family and the entire family was able to come since the unit is pet friendly. Thank you so much for helping us make more family memories, and we will be back.

Great property. My wife and I take our parents, child, niece and nephews to Destin annually. This was a wonderful rental. Had everything we needed, perfect location, easy check in and out, and golf cart was a HUGE plus

The property is located in a very nice location. The neighbors were very friendly and the neighborhood was very inviting and laid back. The property met our needs of being fenced, being dog friendly and accommodating for the number of people that were in our party. We saw the reviews days before our check in and saw that other renters had issues with the condo so we called ahead to see if those issues had been handled. We were assured that they had been handled but when we arrived, nothing had been done. From the outside, it looks so inviting and nice. HOWEVER, the condo needs to be updated badly. The furniture is old and sad, the front door needs to be replaced, the beds are the worst! They were hard and uncomfortable. The stove HAS to be replaced. The pillows on the couch need to be thrown away. The hot water in the kitchen was not working at all. The property manager got the hot water working and they worked on the door but it still was a bit shaky. A golf cart would be nice, as it would help get around the resort easier. If the property is updated, this would be a perfect place to rent! It is in a good location, the overall experience of being close to the beach, the wharf and other places without actually having to drive up and down Hwy 98 was fantastic. The outside of the property has been well maintained and we fell in love with the area. Would rent again in this area for another trip.
