What's nearby: Located directly on Manhattan Beach and a little over a mile north of Rockaway Beach proper, you'll be a short drive from dining options, unique antique stores, and state parks filled with hiking and biking trails. Crescent Lake is within easy walking distance, making it ideal for fishing, crabbing, boating, and other recreational activities. Things to know: Ceramic space heaters available in every bedroom and living room Accessible by 2 flights of stairs (if stairs are not manageable, we can help you find a more suitable accommodation) Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The unit was super clean and had everything we needed. The beach was stormy so watching from the couch was just perfect! Thank you

The place is very nice and clean. There is a sign that says that if you bump the temperature above 72 you won’t have hot water. There are some portable heaters that you can have around the house, apparently having the heaters with the TV made it that some outlets stop working and you have to reset the breaker in an outlet next to the fridge. We called and they came next day. We have to reset the breakers a couple times. Husband had to work while we were out and he said the place was very cold because he couldn’t raise the temperature you could have one portable heater so you won’t overload the outlets. We rented the apartment due to some food intolerance and when I was was trying to fix my shake the blender was missing the jar. The elevator doesn’t work which isn’t the end of the world but it would be nice to have it working to load the car. The TV by the main room doesn’t work, and the rooms don’t have heaters so be prepared to have several blankets as it can get very cold in the middle of the night.

It is a modern beach condo with great view. Close to the beach and has a large amount of beach toys and items.

The outside of the condos look a little rough! Windows are very dirty and the sign outside The front door needs to be cleaned off. Bath towels need replaced stained and thin. Other than that amazing stay!! Had everything we needed and more. Easy easy walk to the beach. Thank you we enjoyed our stay. And will be back!

A beautiful condo with stunning views. Well outfitted kitchen! Spacious, quiet, and on the verge of the state park making is extra private. Hot tub was out of order. Elevators didn't work. But this is the ocean! It's a tough environment for such stuff. Loved our stay at Rockaway.

We loved how close we were to the beach and each night we took the short walk with the beach chairs provided to sit and watch the sunset. The condo itself had a fun beach theme and the main area felt spacious. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had pretty much everything you needed.
There were a few negatives things about the condo unfortunately. The hot tub was not very hot and other guests left the covers off so all warmth was gone. The hot tub was the main reason we chose this complex so that was a disappointment. The cleanliness of the condo needs some improvement. Upon first glance it looked good but upon further inspection we found some issue. Hair on the wall of the shower and long hairs in the bed sheets that clearly weren’t ours so I ended up washing the sheets just to make sure they were clean. When we moved the ottoman the floors were clearly unswept. The bathroom mirror in the main bedroom were smeared with the chemicals they tried to clean them with. I don’t feel like I am super picky but it was enough that I felt like I should comment. I feel like someone was clearly cutting some corners while cleaning.

Overall it was a great place for two to four people. Our only complaints were: the bed was rather small and uncomfortable for a couple to sleep in and it could have been a little cleaner inside. The floors and the sofa could have been cleaner. My husband found old pretzel pieces on top of the couch. The door lock looks like it could be replaced. It feels a bit sketchy and unsafe. The bathrooms and everything else were cleaned very well. I would stay here again, just maybe not in that particular unit due to the main bed being too small. Love the view though!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is nicely decorated, has enough things to feel homey while being spacious and uncluttered. Location was perfect and view is wonderful. Would definitely stay again.

Downside- elevator was broken, so that may be an access issue for some. And the unit’s door lock was crazy old school.
But it was great views, clean, comfy, and close to the beach!

Very nice rental. Everything was clean and in good condition. Location is really good as well with great beach access. Did not have working washer and dryer, but we were told ahead of time.

We love this condo complex in Rockaway. This particular unit is updated with laminate flooring (SO much better than the carpet in some of the other units). Everything was very clean, and overall, well stocked (though no tinfoil or saran wrap, so bring your own). There is a lovely view of the beach, which is one of the more private beaches we have been to on the coast. Overall, this is a fantastic property in a lovely complex. 5 stars!

We love this condo complex in Rockaway. This particular unit is updated with laminate flooring (SO much better than the carpet in some of the other units). Everything was very clean, and overall, well stocked (though no tinfoil or saran wrap, so bring your own). There is a lovely view of the beach, which is one of the more private beaches we have been to on the coast. Overall, this is a fantastic property in a lovely complex. 5 stars!

Only drawbacks the main bedroom hall/bathroom light were on the same switch so could awaken a sleeping partner when the runway to the toilet is illuminated. The other issue was the european door to the deck which also slants in for ventilation, the top hinge never caught...but with proper instructions the door was very functional. Also should note that the stove vent needs to be engaged when cooking anything...we got to meet the volunteer fire fighters and our neighbors when the steam from our moist chicken set off the fire alarm ( the fire fighter said it has happened for toast, re-heating pizza, etc.)
We loved the place, the beach was wild in the March winds.

This space was almost perfect from the view to every utensil you might need in the kitchen, and games galore in the hassock.
Only drawbacks the main bedroom hall/bathroom light were on the same switch so could awaken a sleeping partner when the runway to the toilet is illuminated. The other issue was the european door to the deck which also slants in for ventilation, the top hinge never caught...but with proper instructions the door was very functional. Also should note that the stove vent needs to be engaged when cooking anything...we got to meet the volunteer fire fighters and our neighbors when the steam from our moist chicken set off the fire alarm ( the fire fighter said it has happened for toast, re-heating pizza, etc.)

Beautiful condo, right off the beach
Excellent property, everything new and worked very well. Comfy bed, awesome shower and bathtub. Two different patios. What a wonderful place. Recently stayed there, and this place is perfect for a family of four (two small children). Wonderful renovated bathrooms and kitchen. Brand new vinyl flooring throughout as well. Perfect view for storm watching!

What a wonderful place. Recently stayed there, and this place is perfect for a family of four (two small children). Wonderful renovated bathrooms and kitchen. Brand new vinyl flooring throughout as well. Perfect view for storm watching!

The carpet needs to be replaced and STAT!! Dirty and very worn w lots of stains and we didn't feel comfortable putting blankets on the floor or walking w out socks or slippers. I recommend laminate flooring.

Pros: This condo is in an amazing location, right on the beach, and it has a spectacular view from the living room. Beach access is close, easy to access and well marked. The view from the living room is well represented by the pictures. Also, it's a very comfortable size for a family, the bathrooms are huge and the kitchen is modern and had everything we needed. The furniture was comfortable.
The cons: we rented a beachfront condo so we could sit on the patio and enjoy the ocean views and breeze. The handle on the patio door had been ripped off by a previous guest and was stuck shut (I'm sure it was ripped off out of confusion, not malice, the doors and windows in this place were installed inconsistently and a laminated sheet in the home notes that they all open differently and gives very muddled instructions). Also, the exterior entrance door has an old seal that is half ripped off, so it's difficult to close the front door, and there is no deadbolt. Basically the doors and windows in this home could use some love.
Vacasa gets 1* from me for their response to the inaccessible beachfront patio, which was a huge deal for us. Someone answered the 1-800 number and noted that they already had a ticket to repair the patio door, and that they would "expedite" the request. He couldn't tell me what the timeline of expediting meant, and there was zero communication with us beyond this. No phone call, no voicemail, no email. Two thumbs down for poor communication.

This condo provided a great home base for a week at the beach with my family and our dog. Located only a 2 minute walk to the beach, we were able to enjoy the sunset every night and explore other nearby areas and towns. The condo itself could use some attention. The dishwasher needed repairs and the parking and hot tub areas were less than clean.
