Nestled in Pennington County, this charming house for $275 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to our little piece of Heaven! We are located in the center of the northern Black Hills and would love for you to stay at the Country Heaven Cabin! Country Heaven is a great vacation home nestled in the northern Black Hills, just 5 miles southwest of Lead, SD. Our 5 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is a great place to stay for any activities in the Black Hills. The property is furnished and includes: Stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, silverware, other kitchen items (pots, pans…), coffee pot, washer/dryer, vacuum, dishwasher, toaster, towels, bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets…), BBQ, propane for BBQ, and other items. Sheets, pillows and blankets are included along with bath and kitchen towels. House is fully furnished. Limited laundry and dishwasher supplies provided. No landline telephone is provided and cell phone reception is limited (usually better by garage). Our cabin is located just 2 miles from the Mickelson Trail where you can run, bike and ride horses in the summer and snowmobile and cross country ski in the winter. You can ride your snowmobiles or ATV's to the trails straight from the cabin! We are also just 6 miles from Terry Peak Ski Resort. Mount Rushmore is 55 miles and a beautiful drive. Spearfish Canyon is just a few miles away and an amazing, beautiful drive to Spearfish. Take the Homestake Gold Mine tour in Lead, gamble in Deadwood and take in the beauty of the Black Hills in every direction. Great Rates--book now! Sturgis Bike week is the first full week of August. Rates during the Sturgis Bike Rally differ in price. Rates will change one week before through the week after the rally. Please message us for prices.

We (me and my 3 adults children) enjoyed our stay at this home. It was private although there are a couple houses close by, but it was very quiet. We stayed the first week of October when it was getting chilly at night and a little during the day but we really liked it. The house had everything you could need for the kitchen, also towels, linens, extra blankets and such. Just needed to bring food. We used the grill many nights for supper--burgers, pork chops, steaks etc. Beautiful view and a little off the beaten path, just 5 miles from Lead. The TV was a Firestick so it's best to have a Prime Acct to use. Internet can be a little spotty at times. There is a DVD player and lots of DVDs, mostly ones for kids. We brought gaming systems to play and we brought some DVDs to watch even played Monopoly once. Other board games and kid games there too. Rebecca got back to me pretty quick when I texted her. We left a day early from our scheduled stay to avoid a winter storm warning and possible inches of snow. That was our only disappointment. We did travel a ways to see some sites we wanted to see like 1880's Train, Mt Rushmore, Bear Country and Custer State Park, but the scenery was beautiful. Also took in Spearfish Canyon, Roughlock Falls and the Fish Hatchery. Enjoyed our whole trip!

Was a good stay, it was nice waking up to turkeys and deer in the mornigs. And there was even a few elk next door.

Lots of worn furnishings and dishwasher. Having no TV and slow internet made evenings really long. One downstairs bedroom has nail heads sticking out above the bed pillows. Ground hornets nest greeted us when we arrived. Nothing was done about it during our stay. It would be safer to install handrails in the upstairs tub. Rebecca was nice.

Beautiful setting! Deer in the yard. There was trailer parking. We rode from the house to the trails! (SideXsides) when we returned it was great to kick back on the deck and grill a burger. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Our family had a WONDERFUL stay at Heavenly Home!! We were worried about having only 2 bathrooms but it wasn’t a problem!! Loved the large well stocked kitchen…we cooked all our own meals!! A mole, mouse, and snake(all outside of course) added to the grandson’s excitement!! Nobody wanted to leave and son in law wanted to book for the next year! Wonderful location…you feel like you are away from it all but close to Lead to pick up groceries. Loved the pond and sounds of babbling brook!! We hope to visit again!! Thank you Mason families!!

the only issues we had was, do not walk in the back yard early of a morning when the sun is hot, we came across several snakes, they appear to be water snakes.

This was a good place to stay. Solid house, solid furniture, great yard, lots of DVDs (don't plan for any TV/streaming). We enjoyed our location because there was a lot to do in the area. It just takes awhile to drive to several of them and you have to go on foraleat service roads.

The views from the porch are amazing, the property is better than advertised. Plus the Black Hills are full of wonderful surprises! Custer State park, Devils Tower, Mount Rushmore, and Spearfish Canyon are must see!

Great view. Saw a lot of deer and turkeys. Easy to get too from Lead. We ate at Cheyenne Crossing several times. House was well equipped with everything from kitchen, bath , games and movies.

Property is as described. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Brought an extra big pot just for our cooking needs ,has coffee maker and keurig. Rooms are good size nice beds, clean bathrooms are good size. Deck is amazing saw deer morning night. Easy access to highways to get to town or trails for UTV riding. Had plenty of parking for cars and our trailer. Great communication from Becca answered all I asked.

Very beautiful location! Easy to find! Plenty of space upstairs, downstairs! Slept well! Close to area attractions! Hot tub would probably be the only addition we all thought would have been nice to have.

the property was prefect for our extended family. it had toys, a rocking horse and games for the kids and some movies although we didn't have time to watch them. and plenty of beds for a large family. I think the check out time could have been later given the condition that it was left in after only a 2 day stay. but at complied.

We have been using vrbo for years and this has been the most family-friendly cabin we have rented. Very clean and very spacious. We have 5 kids and all the kids had space to spread out. The cabin was also located in between many different great travel destinations and we had a perfect vacation!

Where do I begin. I think that we experienced a little piece of heaven this last week. The property is beautiful just like the photos. Sitting in the back deck just listening to the stream and watching the deer. We seen a momma and her baby by the little pool. We left the windows open and the air was perfect. Lots of movies and everything you could think of. As 2 families sharing the house we had 2 15 year old boys in the twin beds and girls 13 and 14 years old in another room downstairs. There was an extra room since they shared. They had games, a bathroom and their own TV and door to the back yard. Parents stayed upstairs and slept through any giggles they made when lights out. Location was perfect! We went to Deadwood, Custer, Windcave, Badlands, Devils Tower in WY, French Creek agate hunting, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Hotspring. We went fishing in 4 different lakes and swimming in 2. It was very hard to leave. The property owner was quick to respond to any questions we had and extremely nice. If you are looking for a place to stay I HIGHLY recommend you stay here.
