This cabin has a lot of amazing features. The modern upgrades add a nice touch to the cabin. The location of the cabin was extremely close to the Village and many restaurants. Great customer service from the property manager Joffrey. We are already planning our next visit to this awesome place!

The Cabin was cute. However the power kept going off and we had to constantly flip the power box thing. The main heater also went out on the second day. We couldnt get it back even when fusing the pilot. So we were cold! They did have portable heaters that came in handy but with the power going off it was a constant struggle. The shower on the main floor was literally just dripps you had to throw on yourself to rinse off. And shower downstairs was either was hot or cold. And wet the soaked the floor.

The property owner Joffrey was very accommodating and communicative. We enjoyed my son's birthday while we were there and made beautiful memories. It was a great price point and we loved how close it was to the Village. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a cozy remote cabin that isn't too far away from attractions and events.

My family and I really enjoyed this cabin. The video games and bunk beds were a hit with my kids. We loved playing pool in the “man cave” and how close the property is to Lake Arrowhead Village.

Overall the scenery the location the weather was all so beautiful communication with the owner wasn’t a hassle although cleanliness within the cabin meaning couple spider encounters. I would say are 3.5 out of five there wasn’t a lot of spiders but we did come across a couple and just the garage we weren’t able to enjoy it as we’d like to. I would’ve love to be down there playing pool and the games but I guess the seasons make the difference and now I’m aware of that, he allowed me to bring my kitty which I appreciated so overall it was a memory I’ll never forget the front balcony used it as much as we could breakfast lunch and dinner the outlook, beautiful, breathtaking such a relaxing, chill vibe we got to play a little music and just enjoy the outdoors because I am an outdoor port person loved that. I’m thankful that he allowed me and my partner to be a part of that home for Fourth of July.

This was a “cozy” cottage for sure. I stayed for 4 weeks and vacated a week early from this property due to ice and snow rendering it inaccessible to me, as well as a broken heater. While it’s aesthetics are charming, functionally it’s not worth the hassle. There is no garage for your vehicle, no washer or dryer, and accessibility is an issue if you have mobility impediments both outside of the home as well as inside. All the bedrooms are up a very steep staircase and bathroom, kitchen, and toilet are downstairs respectively making mobility at night a hazard for all. My small dog would not go up or down the stairs. Pros: it’s charming It’s close to grocery stores 45-60 min drive to big bear/snow summit (not ski on ski off as listed in the features of the home) Cons: Beds are old and horribly uncomfortable, bedding, pillows, and towels were old, smelly and mismatched, and rugs in home stained and in need of replacement. No vacuum to tidy up (I bought one for the home as a gift) Plumbing frequently backs up exposing food in sink and excrement in the front yard/slope - upon check in there was a plumber under the sink in the home … the plumber had to return numerous times during my stay and I had to open up the home to others when I was not there - safety concerns The neighbors dogs are unsafe for children and absolutely violate sound ordinances - they are owned by the head of the HOA Water pressure in shower is poor Scalding water Nosy neighbors that are less than welcoming All in all, the homeowner was very responsive and apologetic for issues that occurred, but was unable to have them remediated in a timely and appropriate manner for a home owner and rental property manager as he lives a few hours away. He was kind enough to bring up a new gas grill as a precious storm damaged the existing one, but I had to purchase the propane which was also left at the property as a gift. Would recommend for one night only - better off elsewhere for any amount of time after that.
