The deck and screened porch are really great, as was the view of the water and the available of kayaks. The great room was comfortable and the kitchen had good provisions such as oil and a few spices. Many plates and bowls had multiple chips. The TVs were not internet capable so no streaming was possible, just cable. The house internet was good though. One queen matress was uncomfortable and the metal bedframe was noisy when turning in sleep. We weren't aware that faucet water in Bay St.Louis is not only undrinkable, but also smelled horribly and left our body's smelling after showering. This is a deal breaker for us for future visits.

We had such a wonderful time in this cozy house on the bayou. Every detail has been accounted for, there is nothing more that we could have asked for!! We had a slice of heaven for 3 days. It is close to grocery stores, restaurants, and fun antique stores. There is plenty to do right there at the house so you don't even feel the need to leave! I highly recommend!

It had pots&pans you could actually cook in (kitchen was very well stocked) All the extras here were amazing (crab traps, kayak, chairs even fishing equipment) You couldn't ask for a better place. Plus the owner texted me at 10am and gave us an early check-in!! Super Nice!!! Thanks Jody!!

We had a great time! Place was very clean! Location was close to stores, very convenient! The dogs and us had a wonderful time! Also caught a 25 pound black drum!

This house was super clean and had everything you could possibly want or need. It’s very comfortable and my favorite part was the two porches. The sunrise and sunset were great. When the tide comes in the dock is unuseable so plan around that if you bring a boat or plan to fish from the dock. We would definitely come again and loved being able to bring our dog. Which reminds me, you would never know the place allowed your pet. Yes, it was that clean.

The property is located perfectly to many attractions on the Gulf Coast. The house was spacious and the screened in porch was so relaxing with a swing, sofa, table and rocker. Then the huge deck with lots of seating was great for BBQ and a short walk down stairs to fishing off of the pier. There is also parking under the house which was a plus during the rain! We will definitely be back to this fun VRBO soon.

We had a great 3 week stay. The house was well stocked, and close enough to grocery and discount stores so that we had everything we needed. Weather was wet many days, so we stayed in during the rain and enjoyed the many jigsaw puzzles (I think we completed 5) and watching the daily tides, sunsets and changes in bayou. On dry days there were hikes, beaches, fishing and exploring the area, including New Orleans. Overall a very nice winter retreat.

Everything was great as it was last year during our stay at this property. We will be back next year. My only suggestion is that we have DVR capability activated on the TV so that won’t miss any of our favorite programs while we’re out enjoying fishing, food, gambling, and all the other fun things on the coast.

We made our yearly venture to Crusin The Coast. We have stayed in Biloxi and Gulfport for the past several years. Staying here was a breath of fresh air, quite, super clean, great parking for our trailers and guest. Jody's communication was spot on we had no issues at all getting into the house. Will be back in the spring, summer and for Crusin again next year!

My husband, myself, our 2 teenage daughters & our 3 big dogs had a great time. It was peaceful & just a short 10 minute drive to the beach. Most places don’t allow pets much less 3 over 50 pounds but this place does. We enjoyed sitting on the porch & deck drinking coffee & watching the birds. Our girls loved taking the kayaks out in the bayou. We will definitely have to rent again.

It was an extremely easy process with a beautiful home. Everything you need is within a few minutes of the house and we didn't want to leave. We had a very relaxed few days and will definitely come back.

Good location to explore Gulf Coast and New Orleans. The French Quarter is less than an hour away, depending on traffic. Road work on the bridge to the west on I-10 was a problem once or twice, so pay attention if that is still ongoing. Bay St. Louis and Waveland have places of interest as well, and plenty of nearby grocery shopping and restaurant options. House was fine and well supplied with soaps, detergents, paper towels, etc.. Some less accessible floor areas and fixtures were pretty dusty. The large stove burner was quirky (only heated at setting 8 and higher). The oven usually needed to be set about 50 degrees higher than actual desired temperature, which isn't a big deal if you know that. The neighborhood is quiet. The dock is fixed, with no ladder, so tides can be difficult, depending on how extreme they are and the type of watercraft involved. Get the local tides online if that might affect you. Over all, the property is as advertised.
