We had a great time with our group of three families. We found the house to be a perfect blend of new and old. It had all of the modern appliances we needed, but we also enjoyed using the woodstove and fireplace. We hiked right from the house on the grounds and our kids were outside the entire weekend. The kitchen layout is definitely from another era, so it was a bit challenging having the sink on its own while cleaning up from larger meals. We didn't mind, but it might bother others. We loved the cabinet full of sheets for all of the beds. It was so nice that we did not need to bring our own linens. All in all a great experience and we are planning to return!

Very remote cabin getaway with plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed our trip there, kids played all over the woods and us adults sat in rockers on the porch and caught up with each other. The cabin has some amazing features, and some quirky ones too, but everything worked and we were comfortable.

Great property, very secluded, everything as-advertised. A lot of character without being kitschy about it. Would stay again, everyone had a great time.

We spent a few days in this warm and inviting cabin. There was plenty of room for our group of 13 (6 kids). The porch swing was the kids' favorite, and everyone enjoyed having meals outside. It is a great location for fishing, hiking, and songs around the campfire. We would most certainly come back!!!
