About this house rental
Nestled in Madison, this lovely house for $1,050 per night is a great option for your next trip. This 5 bedroom home has it all. 3 rooms have queen beds, master bedroom and one other bedroom has a king bed. Our man cave can be turned into a bedroom too! Outdoor in ground pool with diving board and slide, hot tub (open all year long), large deck with plenty of sitting room and grill available, large fire pit and sitting area under pergola for extra outdoor fun, karaoke machine and lots of music on site, 72" screen TV in large family room for the big game, 3 car garage, fully equipped kitchen and bar, extra sleeping space with queen and twin air mattress upon request, and a man cave. We have extra bedding and blow up queen size mattress available upon request. We have all the amenities you will need and WiFi is available. We keep our house very clean and tastefully decorated. House is only 5 minutes from University Ridge Golf Course and 7 minutes from Hawks Landing Golf course. 12 minutes from Camp Randall, 15 minutes from Kohl Center and Overture center.

We had a great time in Madison, and was so glad we found this home. Plenty of room to spread out, it had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

This was our first family vacation with my daughter, her husband, their 9 month old, my son, his wife, their 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son, my husband and me. It could not have gone better! Everyone was comfortable, the location was wonderful with a very child friendly beach and yummy ice cream and coffee shop nearby. the backyard pool and hot tub fantastic and there was no amenity missing And it would be hard to find a more gracious, helpful host than Julie. In fact we are now trying to find a time we can return next summer.

Our family of 11 (ages 1 through 74) thoroughly enjoyed this home. The in-ground pool with the slide and diving board was definitely the highlight of our vacation. The fire-pit and the box of S’more fixings were also a big hit. The hot tub was an added bonus. We loved that all 11 of us could sit around both the indoor and outdoor tables! There was plenty of room for us to spread out for some privacy and still come together for games, TV, or just hang out. The owners were quite helpful with ideas of things to do in the Madison area for the ages of our group. Julie answered any of our questions from the time we signed through our stay at the house. Joe came over twice to do some minor maintenance on the pool. Both are friendly and very easy to talk to. We all loved the Madison area and enjoyed the Farmers Market, Art Faire, boating on Lake Mendota, ice cream at the UW Union, Children’s Museum, Cave of the Mounds, and many other activities. A fun time was had by all!

Went with a bunch of friends for the Badgers game. Great location, the house had more than enough room and the backyard was awesome. The pool was huge and the slide was a ton of fun. The hosts were super nice and the check in process was very easy. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed with three generations of family, ranging in age from 2-78. It was wonderful for all of us. Everyone had space for themselves. And the kitchen and pool were perfect for together time. The baby was able to nap while the tweens and teens played in the pool. They provided a pack and play and a high chair, which made packing that much easier. The owners were very personable, responsive, and welcoming. We highly recommend and would stay again.

We had a great time on our second visit to this VRBO location. We like where it’s located but even if you don’t go anywhere, the house is comfortable and clean and pretty and the backyard is great with the pool and hot tub and fire pit.

WOW!
I rented this property for my sister and nephews' families who were in town for my son's wedding. Although I did not stay at the house myself, I received lots of unsolicited comments about the place from family members who did stay there. The most consistent word used to describe the house was "WOW!" From check-in with the owners (who were warm and welcoming), to the incredible pool and patio, to the spacious rooms, and to every amenity and supply imaginable ... everything earned a "wow." In fact, we are already planning a family reunion at some later time for everyone to return to Madison for a relaxed and "wedding-free" long week-end to enjoy the property and surroundings without interruption. Thanks to Julie for helping to make the wedding weekend memorable.

Football weekend/mini family reunion
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Madison. The house was exactly as presented on line and it was perfect for our group: 7 adults (PSU grads) in this house, with other family members staying elsewhere in town but able to enjoy the pool/hot tub over the weekend. We enjoyed the Penn State win over Wisconsin over Labor Day weekend and this was the perfect place to enjoy a BBQ, and relax watching other football games over the weekend. The Murphy's are gracious hosts -- this is a 5-star property all around!

My only complaint would be that the basement and the bedrooms down there get a little cold. You'll definitely need a couple of extra blankets.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The pool was a great size, and the slide, diving board, basketball hoop, and lily pad raft really added to the fun for our 3 boys. There was ample space to spread out both indoors and outdoors, and the owners provided all of the amenities you would need. This was by far the cleanest place we have ever stayed. It was spotless! Very lovely home/yard, and we would absolutely stay here again!

This was an amazing stay for a family get together. The heated pool is awesome. Great house. Awesome karaoke! We had a blast! Owners were very helpful and so nice.
