About this cabin rental
Our beautiful Island Park Cabin is located just above shot gun! We have set up a perfect circle drive and also provide enough room for ATV and trailer parking! We have a beautiful designed set up for large or small groups/families! We have 4 bedrooms and 3 additional queen size beds in the loft. 3 bathrooms/ 1 on each level. We hope to make your stay a little less stressful with a fully stocked kitchen! Washing machine and Dryer are provided. Enjoy a relaxing movie from one of our 3 flat screen TVs. Free and fast WiFi internet and long distance phone are provided! Enjoy a relaxing evening by the warm propane stove in the living room on those chilly evenings. A BBQ Grill and electric smoker with wood chips are available on the deck. With a beautiful and peaceful view off the deck it is a perfect place to relax. If in the mood try out the fire pit on those summer nights, throw some marshmallows on the fire sticks which are provided and then relax in the hot tub! We hope you will be up for some fun with our awesome game set up in the basement! Enjoy air hockey, skeet ball. And don't forget the fun playground area for kids located out the back. We are located close to ATV trails, hiking and fishing. We hope to be able to share the beautiful scenery and experience of island park with others and hope you will love it just as much as our family!

This was such an awesome place to stay! We absolutely loved it! Easily one of the best places I've stayed for sure. Tons of stuff to use. Tons of stuff to do there. I would love to have my family back again.

We were very satisfied with the whole experience. The property listing was detailed and accurate. The booking process was easy and Shane always responded timely when we asked a question. Given the location, the peak time of the summer, the fact that there was lots of room for the eight of us and the amenities, the price was very fair. The cabin was very well furnished and stocked. Our grandkids loved the playground area, the backyard fire pit (for smores) and the game room. We drove up to Yellowstone every day but one and it was about a 40 minute drive. Although a little shorter drive would be nice we wouldn't give up all the positives that this property offers to save a few minutes driving time each day. We can definitely recommend Shane's property and if we head back that way we'd certainly try to stay there again. Thanks Shane

The most well-stocked property I’ve experienced. Skee ball got alot of play. The dining room table should be cloned everywhere there’s a group of eight or more. Everyone enjoyed it!

We came to visit Yellowstone and spend time with family. The Roadhouse Cabin gave us all the comforts of home. The amenities were great, comfortable beds for everyone including extra blankets and towels. So comfy! We loved our stay and even wished we could stay longer. Thank you for a great, hassle free vacation!

This is our 3rd year staying in this cabin. We thoroughly enjoy it and hope to stay there again.. Shane is always helpful helpful in a pinch if there are some additional needs.

Our two week stay at Shane’s Rhodehouse was near perfect! Your thoughtfulness provided everything we needed from comfy beds to firewood. That dining room table was the centerpiece of our evening gatherings. Everyone could spread out and enjoy dinner with a seat at the table. That’s precious family time.
Being west of Yellowstone allowed us to go many different directions. Some took day trips to Idaho Falls and Rexburg, some to Jackson Hole and The Grand Tetons, others hiked, rode horses and kayaked. Everyone had ample opportunity for animal sightings in Yellowstone NP.

Great Cabin
Spacious, well stocked cabin. Ample room for a party of 10 including 5 adults and 5 children aged 5-15. Nice playground for younger kids. Abundant wildlife in the area. Easy access to West Yellowstone entrance into park.

When Yellowstone closed
We were there in June when Yellowstone closed. The cabin is well stocked, spacious, and plenty to do indoors and outdoors! Even though we could not go to Yellowstone, we still had a great time and really enjoyed our time at the cabin.

Great place for kids and adults
We loved hanging in the game/playroom with skee-ball, basketball and air hockey. The fire pit is perfect. And the large dinner table was great for our group. A few missing pieces or scratched games made it hard to play corn hole or guitar hero but all the other fun made up for it. We absolutely loved seeing a baby skunk and fox outside the home. It was a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor fun.

We had room for at least four more people & everyone had plenty of space. Loved having the kitchen & two laundry areas, & the kids especially liked the playground & hot tub. The location is perfect to go into West Yellowstone for shopping, dining & the Bear & Wolf Recovery Center, also the West park entrance. We saw our first moose near the cabin & four more in YNP & Grand Teton Park. Fully equipped, we only bought groceries when we cooked. Wifi & Streaming was good. Good communication with the owner.

We loved the comfort of this property. It was clean, well stocked and fit our needs perfectly. But, we had difficulty knowing how to operate the TV and had no information on how to reach the property manager. We would highly suggest that there be a posted contact number at the cabin for the property manager, and some directions on how to use the TV modems.

Family Island Park Vacation
We really loved this cabin. It was very well equipped and in a beautiful place. There wasn’t anything we needed that we couldn’t find. The beds were very comfortable and we had lots of room.

Rhodehouse Retreat
Overall enjoyable week spent at this roomy and nicely equipped cabin in Island Park - location is ideal for fishing, golfing and ATV/UTV trail riding.
Exceptional layout offers large main floor area ideal for meals, conversation and table games. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with everything we needed and then some for our group of 10. Beds were clean and comfortable, nights were quiet and cool. Moose and deer frequented the cabin surroundings.
Shane Rhodehouse was an excellent host who quickly responded to all our questions before and during our stay. He went out of his way to insure we were taken care of and comfortable.
We highly recommend this cabin for those looking for a true Island Park experience 👍🏻👍🏻

11 of us stayed here very comfortably. The kids loved the game room and outdoor play area. The table is big enough for everyone to eat at. We went to Yellowstone 5 times from this place. The only thing we felt it needed was a little more silverware.
