This remote vacation home is surrounded by 15,000 square feet of rolling lawn up to the river's edge. After a day of fishing, boating, river rafting or motorcycle riding, enjoy cool summer breezes at our mountain vacation home while roasting marshmallows in the outdoor firepit or head to the natural hot springs just 5 miles downriver. When winter snow covers the ground, fire up your snowmobiles and hit the gateway to the Trinities, 5 minutes from our door. No Matter the season, this mountain vacation rental is perfect for your group. Master bedroom features a king size bed, bedroom 2 has a King bed with a private deck overlooking the river, bedroom 3 has a King bed and a set of bunk beds, and bedroom 4 has a King bed with a pull out twin bed. We came over New Years and this was a great place to stay.

This home was the perfect setting for our family to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We really enjoyed the swimming hole along the edge of the river as well as the fire pit for s’mores each night. This is a beautiful, comfortable home that I would happily stay at again.

Our stay was absolutely delightful. The home was well stocked, spacious, and clean. We enjoyed meals and time together in the lovely kitchen and great room. Our kids enjoyed the woods, the playset, and most of all the pooled off portion of the river. I think they would have stayed in the river all day if they could. There just wasn't enough time in the day to get all our playing in! The sound of the river was so peaceful and relaxing and the evenings were cool and offered respite from the warm days. The location was perfect. We rode to Trinity Lakes on the ATVs, visited the hot springs, made a trip to Pine, and bought ice cream in Featherville. We couldn't have asked for any better accommodations. Thank you Sheri!

We had a family get together in a beautiful snowy surrounding, the owners of this property was very gracious to share their home with us. There was room for my family with room to spare.

Mentioned to Sheri about the BBQ’s needing some attention-the gutters may need some leaves removed as I witnessed some overflowing area’s.

We spent my dads 60th birthday at this cabin, and it was the perfect summer getaway!
This cabin had it all. Beautiful home, big yard river front. We did some fishing in the back. Went river tubbing down to the hot springs.
The location is private and peaceful. It was so beautiful! The house was great, fit us all. Kitchen is spacious. We enjoyed our stay.
Property manager was easy to reach, and talk too. Very convenient.
We will definitely come back agian.

The Featherville Family Getaway (our first FULL FAMILY vacay in more than 10 years) was all we had hoped it would be. The setting was perfect for a bunch of outdoor-loving people, the sleeping arrangements worked well for us, and the house was cozy and comfortable, inside and out! We are looking forward to a repeat gathering next year - with a brand new family member, our first great grand! Surprise announcement was the highlight of our stay and couldn't have been more perfect!

Beautiful and well appointed home on the river, close to the reservoir with access to hiking and fishing. Very comfortable for our family with a beautiful lawn and children’s play area. The river has a strong current and should be respected.

Our family, from 4yr olds to almost-80-yr olds, all enjoyed our stay at this beautiful comfortable and peaceful home!!! We could not have dreamed of it being as comfortable as it was, with overall amazing experience - from the owner being very responsive and available, the tips about the area, all the necessities like being in your own home. We had to go into Mountain Home a few times (for my nephews’ Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony, and then for his HS graduation and his party on the Air Force base); it was a long drive, but we all agreed that it was so well worth for us to have such a huge comfortable house for all of us to be together, have family meals together, and everyone having an opportunity for their own things like just resting in their room, playing cards together, or kids playing basketball or cornhole, and chopping wood, evening fire pit roasting marshmallows and having s’mores, lots of beautiful peaceful walks, some of our crew going fishing, and almost all of us going to the Hot Springs just up the road. Such quality family time, making memories together that we will cherish forever! Thank you for having such a wonderful comfortable home and opening it upfor renting for others to enjoy! It is the best vacation rental in Idaho!!!

We all loved this beautiful venue on the river! It was more than we had hoped for in every way! It was nice that everyone had their own space for their kids and family together and Gabba & grandpa enjoyed the main suite. The balconies and patios and fire-pit and beautiful landscape, swings etc were perfect for everyone. An additional kitchen towel would be helpful and that is the only ask. There was so many amenities graciously offered. We are all very grateful for Sheri and Mike's spectacular place.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed in this cabin and I have enjoyed it each time. It is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. This time we celebrated by dad’s 78th birthday with our family and the cabin accommodated us all. It was clean, well stocked, and the host, Sheri, is very responsive and helpful!!

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location to spend time with my family. Just checked all my boxes and if this property were for sale it would now be mine. The river is just out the back door and to hear that day and night was a blessing. Very peaceful. Plenty of room to spread out! The home has everything you could ask for and the hosts were most gracious. I hope to return one day.

Sheri's place was perfect for our family reunion. The kids loved playing in the "kids pool" right off the river bank. It was well stocked and Sheri provides plenty of chairs and outdoor games to keep everyone busy. .The property is elegant and high end. Would definitely recommend

We had a fantastic stay at this property!! The location is perfect for snowmobiling and soaks at Trinity Hot Springs. Nice view of the river from the large windows. The layout of this home has bedrooms on on end and the family room on the other so you can have your quiet time while others are still watching a movie or playing games at the beautiful dining room table. Kitchen is over the top and fully stocked. Just a great place for gathering. Would love to come back in the summer.

Six couples enjoyed a long winter weekend at this beautiful cabin. The space is lovely and comfortable. We especially enjoyed preparing meals in the the large kitchen, and relaxing in the large open living room. The owner, Sheri, is gracious and easy to communicate with. Our favorite part of the weekend were the river otters we watched one morning right out the back windows. Thank you for a relaxing stay!

Beautiful cabin and location. Plenty of room for our family. Well stocked. Oven was broken so we wished we were informed of that before hand so we could have adjusted our cooking menu. Also the roof leaked water into the top loft room with the twin beds onto the carpet. Their was alot of snowfall however. Overall we had a wonderful time.

We have stayed at many different vrbo places. This was by far our favorite. It really felt like home away from home. It was so well stocked with things you actually need and use. Like heavy duty kitchen equipment to cook for a big family. The views are amazing. And the host was very helpful. It was a great place!

We looked at every lodging option for a recent wedding and are so happy we ended up here. A beautiful site space for all thirteen of us to spread out. The homeowners were very responsive and easy to work with. Loved the riverfront setting, along with the firepit and swing set for the kids. Even a piano. Perfect for our small family reunion and close to the golf course and Trinity Hot Springs.

My husband and I rented this cabin with another couple (our two close friends). We wanted to find a beautiful/peaceful place in nature where we could celebrate our friend's birthday and both of our wedding anniversaries (Oct. 3, 4 & 5). This was the most perfect place. Not only is the cabin spacious with all the amenities one could ask for, it sits on a gorgeous piece of property with the Boise River steps away from the cabin in the backyard. There is a fire pit overlooking the river and we made good use of it every night. We cooked meals in the kitchen and relaxed both outside and in the very comfortable living room. The rooms/beds were extremely comfortable. Sheri was the most amazing and gracious host, and took the time to tell us about the surrounding area and answer any questions we had. Our group really enjoyed our time there and hope we can one day visit again.

Our family of four had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. It had everything you need, from kitchen items to games (inside and out) for the entire family to enjoy, as well as a fantastic location if you just want to sit by the river with a drink (or drinks) in hand for hours. Communication with Sherri was easy and she was extremely thoughtful when our flight got canceled forcing us to arrive a day late in offering a night on the back end, which unfortunately we could not take advantage of. Bottom line, if you want to relax in nature, this is it! I will note as other have, you should stock up at the grocery store in Mtn Home, Boise or Twin Falls, as the country store has bare essentials. Again, all a plus for us who wanted to be away from it all. Thanks for a great vacation.

We had a great time this week at the Freer's beautiful home in Featherville. The home is perfectly appointed and a lot of fun. We made smores in the firepit, fished, had movie nights, went on bike rides and much more.
The river behind the home is beautiful but not very accessible. There is about a 5' drop from the edge of the lawn to the water, and the current in this location is strong (probably depends on time of year), but don't plan on young kids playing in the water. We found a great spot about 7 minutes away through town that we went to multiple times that was perfect for swimming and playing in the water. The hosts were great about communicating with us and helping us identify some spots.
