Located in Connecticut, this charming bed and breakfast for $513 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Fall asleep to the moon shining through your bedroom window in our 3-story Connecticut Carriage House situated on an estate property in West Redding, CT. Privacy awaits, as you enter through your own private gate/access driveway. Spacious living and luxurious sleeping quarters will offer you a much-needed retreat. New, ultra-modern kitchen features sleek, Italian-made cabinetry, Caeserstone counters, luxury appliances...a high-end kitchen completely outfitted for your stay. Plus, enjoy fresh eggs from our backyard chickens! Pantry-stocking is available upon advanced request, for an additional fee. Also, private catering/chef services are available, upon advanced request, again, fees will apply. Two large living room spaces on the Main Level offer lounging options for everyone! Gather around the field-stone, wood-burning fireplace with a glass of wine to watch a movie or enjoy quiet reading. Sharpen up your pool-shooting skills on the gorgeous pool table! The formal dining room is in the heart of the home (also located on the Main Level) and welcomes up to 10 comfortably, with plenty of elbow room for enjoying family dinners. The carriage doors in each living room can open (upon request) to create an amazing indoor/outdoor space, when the weather permits. High ceilings with a grand foyer staircase leads up to two large bedroom suites (located on the Upper Level), plus an open 3rd bedroom area with a stellar windowed cupola. One bedroom suite has a wood-burning granite fireplace with a walk-in closet, and a half bath (toilet & sink). The second bedroom suite features a large closet, plus a full bath (shower, toilet & sink). All three bedrooms have queen-sized beds complete with luxury linens and comfy, fresh pillows. Both bathrooms are outfitted with luxury towels and some basic toiletries that you may need during your stay. Note that the 2 bathrooms are located on the second story, on the bedroom level. Cozy up by the outdoor fire pit, set up for you upon request; wood provided. Our Cleaning Practices: Prior (and after) your visit, we bring in a professional cleaning team that not only thoroughly cleans every room/space, but also disinfects all surfaces and touch points. We also provide you with essential cleaning products, laundry detergent, and disinfectants for you to use during your stay. The sheets, bedding (comforters, duvet covers, blankets, pillow protectors, mattress pads) and towels are washed at 205 degrees w/ bleach (note that this is 7 degrees shy of 212 degrees boiling point), so any potential bacteria/viruses are potentially eliminated during the wash process. The sheets and duvet covers are also professionally pressed at high heat, and each bed will be prepared and ready for your arrival. Note that we use TWO layers of pillow protectors, in addition to the pillow cases for your added protection and cleanliness. We can also provide an additional cleaning service DURING your stay, if you'd like (the additional cleaning fee will apply), just let me know and I would be happy to make that arrangement. The dishes/glassware/silverware will be washed at a high temperature in a 3 hour dishwasher cycle. The refrigerator will also be cleaned and disinfected. The floors will be cleaned with hot water and vinegar. The bathroom sinks/toilets/shower will be bleached clean and disinfected. We have stocked the carriage house with some basic toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage/recycling bags, cleaning products, laundry detergent, coffee filters, etc. so you should only need to bring your food and clothing : )

If you are considering this area, don't hesitate, book this property. I have stayed at many vacation rentals, and I would rate this one at the highest level of cleanliness, accommodations, and location. From the moment you arrive, you will know that you are being taken care of. From handwritten welcome notes to farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator, your stay will be relaxing. It is an absolutely stunning property with all the comfort and care of home. I hope to be able to return.

We adored this unique property. Meredith was an awesome host. She was very helpful with giving me local resources for an event I was planning. Her property is lovely. the Carriage House is beautifully appointed and well stocked down to small details. The sheets, beds and linnens were dreamy. Communication was great and the fresh eggs she dropped off were appreciated.

The host had everything you could possibly need in all of the bathrooms & the kitchen even brought in lots of wood for the fireplace. The whole house was decorated beautifully staying with the feel of the Carriage House. All of the bedrooms were comfortable & inviting with huge walk in closets in each one. The property is beautiful & quiet, lots of restaurants & a park for hiking close by. The host was accessible & kind but did not bother us once. I would definitely stay here again soon♥️

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the carriage house. It is a beautiful space with lots of light and has a very inviting interior. Everything you could want is provided. The owners were so lovely. There are splendid woods in the rear of the house that provided a kaleidoscope of color and manicured grounds in the front. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay and we would definetely look forward to returning.. Thank you!

House was extremely clean, organized and exactly as described. Meredith was extremely hospitable leaving us with fresh eggs, a bottle of wine and a prepped fire pit. Would stay there again!

We Didn’t Want To Leave…
We felt very welcomed to this unique property. From the moment we entered the home and for the duration of our stay, we loved it. The two main bedrooms are very comfortable. First class linens and towels. There are two large family rooms. Both unique and comfortable. The one family room has a pool table and a fireplace. It makes for a fun night to hang out. The dining room is special too. We had one of our dinners catered by a recommended chef that Meredith provided. We also enjoyed a bon fire one night and walked the beautiful property. There is also a nice hike just a 10-12 minute walk away. We will return to this property in the future!

Majestic Redding Carriage house
Lovely home in an idyllic setting. Meredith and Mike were Super gracious! Clean and spacious, with every amenity imaginable! From fine linens, towels and an extensive variety of kitchen accoutrements! Being passionate about cooking, this kitchen rocked! Fresh eggs were a real treat! Their children were very lovely and polite to our 2 and 4 year old grandchildren. If you have little ones, you may want to bring a gate or two. Steps to lower level kitchen are quite steep. Also, if making dinners, you need to carry it up to the dining table. My husband became the dumb waiter! Good exercise though! Kids ate at the island in the kitchen. We had a lovely vacation and this part of Connecticut is just breathtaking! Took the kids to a great zoo, a wonderful lake and many ice cream adventures! Thank you Meredith and Mike for sharing your beautiful carriage house!

This property is breathtaking! Meredith is warm and welcoming and does everything to ensure the guests have a fantastic stay. I rented the Carriage House for my bridal party to stay in and get ready at before my wedding. It is spacious and the beautiful decor and layout of the house made for beautiful pictures. I cannot recommend this property enough! We were greeted with fresh eggs from the chickens, wine, and a handwritten welcome note. Meredith and family are the best hosts anyone can ask for! My husband and I will be back!

Wonderful Wedding in Redding
My husband and I had our microwedding at the Carriage House and it was absolutely perfect. The grounds were beautiful--we had our ceremony on the lush lawn underneath a gorgeous tree and our dinner inside with the carriage doors open to create an indoor-outdoor space. Meredith had all sorts of helpful suggestions for local vendors and the house had some useful items that we could use for our event, like tables, chairs, cornhole, etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to host an intimate event!
