Location is great. The house has great views of the beach. The master bedroom has great views, and is a nice quiet retreat from the rest of the house. The lower level has lots of sleeping space- if you have lots of kids it's a fun place for them to be. Some accessories are a little dated, but the kitchen is well-stocked.

Booking ended up being through Vacasa. I do not recommend ever using them again. When we booked it came down to two properties for our group, this one or ALSO Beach House. Ultimately we choose this one because it had the hot tub and many of us were really looking forward to using it. Before our arrival I emailed asking about a late check out and a few concerns based from previous reviews-never received communication back. Got to the house and basic maintenance is definitely needed. Discovered the hot tub didn’t work, they sent a maintenance tech out that had never been to that property to look at it and told us it should be okay to use the one side of Jets and that he was going to get the spa company to come out and look. The spa company told us it’s extremely hazardous to have anyone in the hot tub and that they would have to order the parts. The maintenance tech texted me saying his manager authorized a $50/day refund for not being able to use the hot tub. Which I ended up having to call and agree with a receptionist and send them a screen shot of my text to prove the refund a week after our trip was over. There was a cabinet balancing on top of another, not even connected. Many door knobs super loose, wall around venting over cut so you could see into the next room above the vent. The downstairs toilet was not secured to the floor. There was a wrapper and hair found under the mattress protector when we removed them at the end to wash to help the housekeepers. There was left over food dried on many of the dishes. We had 4 adults working during the day and I personally found it extremely difficult to work with the birds nesting in the eves making scratching sounds all day long. When the Maintenance tech told me about the $50/day I requested to speak with someone higher up. He said he would pass it on and I never heard back from anyone. A week after our stay when I called Vacasa’s corporate office in Portland, OR the receptionist kept going back and forth with her supervisor instead of handing me off to her supervisor after I asked to speak with the supervisor. After providing them proof I was told $50/day refund they refunded just that amount and nothing further for any of the other items or hassle. Coming from the hospitality industry and property management I was disappointed with how this was handled and if I were the owner of the property and knew this is how my property was being managed I would be pretty upset.

I’ll start out by saying I booked this place for my birthday weekend with my husband and family. The reason I chose this place over a hotel which would’ve been cheaper was the hot tub and the amenities it offered. Well unfortunately the listing is completely inaccurate. They have the amenities they just don’t work. The air hockey table is busted and has dead spots. The customer service communication is awful, as it it takes 2 freaking days for anyone to get back to you about the hot tub not working. The fact that they won’t answer my emails or chat tells you they knew the amenities don’t work and still charged me an arm and a leg for it. The house was dusty, drawers broken, floors were dirty, grill was gross. We had to clean the place before unpacking anything. When I reached out about the hot tub not working they asked me the guest to touch the breaker and reset it. I am the guest, expecting things to work in the rental. Luckily my brother in law is an electrician and reset the breaker but that didn’t fix anything. After that they stopped responding to me. I’ve reached out three times and no one has gotten back to me. They expect their guests to clean the place before leaving but they still will charge you a cleaning service?? What logic is this? I plan to contact my bank and dispute the charges as I should not be charged for things that do not work in the house.

We had the absolute best time! The view is truly amazing. Being able to see the ocean and hear the waves from the hot tub and bedroom is nice. Short walk to the beach, loved that. Kitchen had everything we needed. House was stocked well for a large party. Pool table and air hockey worked great. Would definitely stay here again. Close to the casino and grocery store. Nice hiking trail near by. Only downer is the house isn't sound proof at all you can hear literally everything. But it didn't bother us.

Had a great weekend here. The pool table has been refelted, some previous reviews mentioned it being needed. The air hockey table didn’t work all that great. The hot tub was a fine temp the one night we used it. The house was clean, there was no weird smells like other reviews mentioned. The can opener is broken, and the water pressure wasn’t great. Overall a great weekend.

Annies Windsong is a nice, 3 story house that is great for a large group. It's roughly 600 yards from the beach with a short walk down the road to public access. Nice views of God's Thumb from this area of the beach. The neighborhood is very quiet, with a quiet time of 9pm to 7am. It felt like a safe area and I saw deputies patrolling the side streets with their spot lights at night. I would guess that more than 80% of the homes in this area are vacation homes. We saw lots of black tail deer and racoons in our yard (and porch). The house from top to bottom was nicely stocked with almost everything we needed. Unfortunately there are some cons. This was my first time renting from Vacasa and I believe it will be the last. Checkout is 10am. The morning before we left, I contacted a Vacasa rep and asked for a later checkout. I was informed that I missed the later checkout time frame, which apparently was the day before. Even though Vacasa tried hard to have me rent the house for an extra day before we arrived. All we needed was an extra hour or 2 to get our large group out the door. Vacasa was not willing to allow that. The maintenance on the house has been neglected. Downstairs toilet is not secured to the floor, pigeons have busted through the rafters and are living in the ceiling. We all kept smelling urine and I thought maybe it was from the pigeons, but soon realized it was in the heating ducts. Everytime the heater kicked on, the house would be flooded with the lovely aroma of urine. There is no out door lighting, so bring flashlights because there are lots of obstacles on the way to the front door, like railroad ties and pathway rocks. We got back one evening after dark and one of our guests tripped over the railroad ties, fell into the gravel and skinned up her elbows and hands pretty good. The dishwasher has to be slammed in order for it to work. Something is wrong with the connection to the door. The front door latch is broken. Door will not latch when closed. You have to unstick the latch or wiggle the knob just right to get it to latch. One of our guests found a lot of black hair and a press on nail in her bedsheets. I think that is all. I hate to leave a bad review at all, but for what you pay, I believe these issues need to be addressed. I have had great luck with airBNB and VRBO in the past, and I think I will stick with them for future trips.

There were multiple holes in the walls, bath tub did not drain properly so you stood in still water while showering. Hot tub was dirty and cold upon arrival, also the space between the hot tub and deck was too far and my cousin almost broke her ankle while getting out. It is bruised. We will be asking for some money back. Thank you.
