My son and I had a great long weekend at Dede's. Really great spot to stay at, being a short walk to the water front. Used Uber most of the time to get to other spots around the city, or simply walked. And there is a rental car spot a short walk away, and a garage where's you can park the car when not in use. In addition to great things around city, highly recommend Muir woods and other coastal areas across the Golden Gate bridge to the North. Even took in zip lining thru the red woods at Sonoma Zipline Adventures, a little over an hours drive north. Thanks again Dede for sharing your wonderful place.

Myself, wife and daughter stayed at Dede's for four nights to see some shows during Sketchfest 2024. It's a wonderful condo with a rooftop deck right across from the Ghirardelli clock tower and what a view of the bay! Dede was so helpful and accommodating without being intrusive at all. It was a great trip and this was a perfect "base camp" where we started and planned our trips each day. So much to do within walking distance, but even with some rain over the weekend I have to mention Ubers arrive so fast in SF. This is a good one.

This cozy, well-sized and well-maintained home was conveniently located a block from Ghiradelli Square and made our visit to SF easy to do all the things we planned: Alcatraz, Fisherman's wharf, riding cable car, Muir Woods. The included parking was a huge plus. It was a quiet street but just walk a block toward the waterfront and you have all the shops, restaurants and action of Fisherman's Wharf. The house was exactly as described and had all the conveniences of home, such as fully stocked kitchen, including spices, cooking oil, plenty of paper towels, which we many properties don't provide. The owner Dede was a great host and was very responsive to any questions. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teens, and the house was comfortable in every way. The bathroom and master BR were huge. The roof deck is very cute and has beautiful views. We would stay again and highly recommend this property.

We stayed at the Larkin property with two of our sons and they had the best time. With all of the fun things we had planned during our stay in the city, they made some of their best memories at the house. It is beautiful, unique and perfectly located. From the rooftop views to the warm and cozy interior spaces - everything was comfortable and welcoming.

My family and I had a wonderful time in San Francisco, thanks to DeDe and her beautiful home. The location is excellent, close to tourist attractions but also relatively quiet, and the view across the water is absolutely incredible. The rooftop patio just can’t be beat! We had everything we needed and felt comfortable that we could reach out with questions at any time. Highly recommend this rental.

This is a stylish apartment, an easy walk from the bay and across the street from the Ghirardelli chocolate experience! The host communicated very well and was most helpful getting us settled in. We could get everywhere in the city easily using rideshare and the quintessential cable car! We really enjoyed our visit and won’t hesitate to book again when we plan our next trip to SF.

Had a great stay. Very close to everything on our itinerary. We were able to walk to: -Ghirardelli square -fisherman’s wharf -cable cars -big bus hop on/off tours stop -many restaurants -the convenient corner store less than a block away -shore line with artists and vendors -pier 33 for our Alcatraz boat tour -amazing roof deck view Thing’s to note for families traveling with older (60+) and children: -great array of kids books -narrow spiral staircase might be a little difficult for holding little one but not impossible, older members might have difficulty -it’s San Fran it has a hill to get to front door Highly recommend this place

I don't even know where to begin. I've been to San Francisco countless times but have always stayed in hotels, typically around Nob Hill/Union Square. This was our first time taking our kids with us (boys ages 11 and 15). Dede's home gave us an authentic San Fran living experience. Her home is so comfortable and beautifully appointed. The beds were all comfortable (and we're all "bed snobs" with low expectations once we leave our home). The master bathroom was beautiful, though our younger son who still enjoys baths loved the clawfoot tub in the upstairs bathroom. Dede goes out of her way to introduce you to the property and all of it's old quirks and to communicate about current events in the city. Our 15-year old practically lived on the rooftop deck and loved the independence of running down to the bodega on the same block for snacks, or going just up the hill a block to enjoy the dog park, or down the hill 2 blocks to the beach and cable car turnaround. Our younger son was so excited to be able to walk to Ghirardelli Square to get late-night hot chocolates (open until 11). Dede's house is practically connected to Ghirardelli Square - that's how close it is. The house was super close to cable cars as well as other public transportation, which we relied on most of the time. However, we also appreciated that Dede had a parking spot in a garage just a few blocks away that we could use, because we did have a rental car that we used for some day trips. Thanks Dede!
