Situated in Steamboat Springs, this attractive house for $258 per night is a great option for your next vacation. All furnishings, equipment, and decorations in this spacious, 1900 square foot townhome are clean and new. If you’re looking for a fabulous place to stay while you take advantage of all the spectacular activities Steamboat Springs has to offer…look no further! This recently built unit is at the end of a new cul-de-sac and gets very little noise or traffic. Free bus service on the Steamboat Springs "Purple Line" to and from the base area stops close by every 20 mins. Sleeping arrangements make this unit perfect for three couples or 2 couples with kids. It will sleep 8 comfortably in beds, but there is also a sleeper sofa in one bedroom to accommodate a small child. In addition to comfortable sleeping, this home features an open floor plan with a spacious, well-equipped kitchen featuring a granite breakfast bar and adjoining dining area. The living room has a stone gas fireplace and opens to the newly constructed spacious patio with BBQ grill and dining furniture. The upstairs bunk bedroom provides a TV nook as a great separate hang-out for kids with its flat screen TV, DVD player, and games. A full-size washer and dryer are also located upstairs so you can pack a little lighter if you’re willing to do mid-week laundry. Free, high-speed wireless internet access is available in the unit for those who cannot leave work behind. Ski storage is provided in the attached garage. The city bus picks you up at the entrance to the town-homes which is a 2-minute walk. Or you can walk to the base of the mountain in about 10 minutes. The seasonally heated swimming pool is very well maintained, quiet and open from the end of May to the end of October. The two hot tubs are open year-round from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The kitchen comes fully stocked with cooking staples and equipment if you elect to stay in for lunch or dinner instead of enjoying one of Steamboat’s many excellent restaurants. ****NOTE: Please be advised that the Cornerstone/Moraine Townhomes Home Owners Association has adopted a policy of not allowing sports and ski teams and/or players to stay at the Cornerstone/Moraine Townhomes. It was a great home. Well built with sturdy finishes. Would stay again. While you either need to take a shuttle, bus, or walk to the hills, none of them are difficult and in fact the rental company offers a free on-demand shuttle.
However, the check-in process is a bit of a pain. You need to actually check in at an off-site office to pick up your keys and such. It isn't clear that that is the case until you get final check-in instructions. It was also not stated that they have a shuttle you can then take to get tot he house from the offices.

The townhome had everything we needed for our stay. It is very nice and roomy and the pool is a short distance away. Good location, within walking distance of shops, food and the gondola for a trip up the mountain with beautiful sunset views.

Great house for a group of friends! Plenty of room for two couples, plus singles. The bunk bed room was a bit small for 3 adults, but we made it work. We had plenty of room in the garage to fit all of our skis and a car. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and the living room was spacious. The walk to the hot tubs was short and there was always plenty of room for everyone. The walk to the Steamboat public bus stop was very short in full ski gear and some of our group just walked straight to the slopes (~10 minute walk). The access to the free Retreatia shuttle van was amazing for going downtown at night! The only minor downside was that we had to go to the Retreatia office to pick up and return the keys. Overall, would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a great spot close to the slopes!

The space was perfect for our family, plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, we couldn't get the ice to come out through the door which was a bit of an inconvenience. When first wanted to use the grill on the patio. I believe the starter didn't work and it was out of gas. But we did get someone to come out fairly soon to fix it.

Friend Group Ski Trip
The place was very clean, a large space for a friend group, great kitchen for cooking, and we walked to the ski slope or took the shuttle. Very great location! Parking was tough with only 2 spaces and no street parking - just a heads up!

Weekend Stay at Steamboat
The house was great! Clean and spacious. Price was reasonable as well. We tried to bring a snowmobile trailer and parked it in the driveway not knowing they were not allowed. The HOA must be strict or one of the neighbors complained immediately.... only got about 10 hours into the stay before we got a call telling us to move the trailer right away. Other than that, it was great.

Perfect for Families!
This property was ideal for families with kids! Ample space for kiddos to play and adults to hang out. Quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. Our kids loved that they could ride their scooters outside and play in the awesome pool. Definitely would stay here again!

Balloon festival weekend.
Had a relaxing, carefree weekend. Accommodations were outstanding and very well appointed. We had a little mix up about checkout time, but management was MOST accommodating. Very positive experience overall.

Great Place close to Base
Place was great. Great location and very well equipped. Very clean. Only complaint though is that for a 6 night minimum stay probably should have enough consumables though to get you through a week,, salt, coffee filters, TP, etc.

Bear Lodge 6108
We enjoyed our stay at Bear Lodge 6108. The amenities were nice, parking was good, enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Distance to town and base of mountain was great. One of the ceiling fan in the bedroom didn't work, but everything else was nice. Our only complaint was in dealing with the management company, Retreatia. We initially booked another property, but due to a computer system error, our rental was overbooked, so we were moved. While the move was fine (the new property actually worked better for our group), I do feel like we should have been offered a refund for the difference between the cost of the rentals. While it was only around $75, it would have been a nice gesture. Upon our arrival to the property, I felt like the instructions provided could have been clearer in where the property was located on the grounds. We were a little confused on how to find the actual unit, so I called the office. The first person couldn't help me, I believe due to a language barrier, so I was transfered to another gentleman. He was not helpful and the way he spoke to me like I was stupid, really left me speechless. It started our trip off on a sour note. The overall instructions for the unit could definitely be written better. All the ceiling fans/lights have special on/off switches, that were confusing. The TVs were tricky in a couple of rooms and the box in the master bedroom had to be on in order for the tv in the other bedroom to work. The hot tub instructions said "don't hit random buttons", but the buttons didn't have labels, so it was hard to know what controlled what. On the second day there, 2 of the key cards stopped working for the garage (still worked for the door to the unit). When I called the Retreatia office, they again acted like I didn't know what I was doing and that there shouldn't be issues, but I could stop by their office if I wanted new cards. We did stop by to get new cards and we were still treated like it was something we had done wrong. Also found it inconvenient that you had to drive to their office if you needed items for the unit. We ended up just buying our own toilet paper and paper towels when what was supplied ran out. We look forward to returning to Steamboat, but would be hesitant to rent another property managed by this company.

We really liked the unit. Very clean and well kept. Great for 2 families. Good location to everything!!! Almost everything you could want. The pool wasn't open. There are two hot tubs, nice if someone else is out there but the kids missed a pool.

comfy and convenient
We came over spring break to ski at steamboat with another family. This house was beautiful, very comfortable, clean and super convenient to the ski slopes. The shuttle brought us to and from the ski slopes. We loved it and would definitely stay here again.

Ski trip
Wonderful accommodations! We brought along two young adults and they each brought a friend. Plenty of space for everyone. We appreciated the well supplied kitchen - waffle maker was the favorite. Super short walk to catch the ski shuttle so we could all come and go on our own schedules if desired. Kids enjoyed the hot tub after a long day skiing. Beds were very comfortable. Very nicely decorated and comfortable place to stay. We would definitely return here!

Awesome condo!
Terrific place in a perfect location. We loved that we could easily walk to the lifts -- we have 2 boys and they could not get enough of downhill mountain biking. The unit itself is amazing -- with tons of room and everything you need for your stay in the mountains. Of course -- the pools and hot tubs are a bonus after a day hiking, biking, skiing, etc..

Fantastic rental!
Lovely property. The town home was spacious and comfortable. It had everything you needed. Extra pillows , towels, etc...The pool was close by and the water temp was perfect, the kids loved it! The location was central with easy access to everything. This house was perfect for our large family! We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here with our three kids plus grandparents. It was the perfect place. The kids loved the bunk beds, pool, and back porch area. The adults enjoyed the spacious bedrooms and gathering space. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Nice place
Stayed here with a group of 4 friends. Very comfortable, clean, plenty of space, and everyone had their own bed. The house is on the free shuttle bus route to the mountain, but we found it easier to walk ~15 min to the gondola. The garage is heated and a great place to store all of your ski / snowboard equipment. There are multiple supermarkets within a 4-5min drive and downtown is about a 10-15min drive away. I would recommend staying here.
