Treasured the privacy! Perfectly sized cabin with amazing covered porch - fully stocked and filled with amenities - overlooking a fire pit and small lake/pond. Family of swans and pair of beavers are a joy to watch. Stairs to lake could be a challenge for some and expect to travel elsewhere if you plan to fish.

A beautiful place on a small lake. Everything was clean, check in was easy. It was close to the small town but felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. We had a great stay!

Great cabin with being close to just about anything! We were looking to have a nice quiet porch to sit on and have coffee in the morning with ability to venture out later to enjoy random activities, this place hit that perfect! Anything we wanted to do was within a 15 minute drive in any direction. We had a public beach 7 minutes away, great golf, live music, and dinner 15 minutes away. Wi-Fi was amazing for the last minutes work issues that came up when we were there. Getting on the row boat for the lake was an adventure, but one we will remember for a lifetime!!

The A/C is in the main room so bedroom doesn't cool very good, needs its own a/c. Everything we needed is there so overall very pleased. If you're a fisherman you may want to try another lake. We did enjoy seeing the Swans and family. Will stay there again because of location to Shell Lake and Cumberland.

Great little cabin that seems like it’s out in the boonies but isn’t. Close to Barronett and horse a piece to either Shell Lake or Cumberland. Very beautiful with the snow, would love to see this place in the summer time.

We checked in and everything was good then our commanding officer called and we had to drive to the northern border to take care of some security issues we had to bug out early and didn’t get to enjoy our stay as planned when Work calls you have to go

The cabin itself was great. We enjoyed the smell of wood and beautiful gas fireplace and nice porch. We had an awesome time by the fire. It's so relaxing to be in the woods, sing and admire the night fire... We even had company on the lake, swans are gorgeous. Cons: hair in shower and dirty toilet Washing the sheets took to much time. It would be ok to put them to wash and leave, but to wait to put them in the dryer is too much. In the morning we'd like to sleep, relax and enjoy not to wash sheets. By the way, the washer has issues and we waited extra time to drain and spin. Express wash is not express at all. We usee many cabins before, but to wash and dry sheets is too much. Speaking of ourselves this bothered us. Just because of this fact we are not coming back. Overall good place, close to many restaurants

I've stayed here a handful of times before so it was easy to choose for a getaway with my sister for the weekend. We had a great relaxing weekend away from work, kids, etc. We loved sitting on the porch looking at the lake and watching the swans. It was also only a 7 minute drive to one of the best WI supper clubs - The 5'OClock Club. Will definitely be coming back again!

I wanted to take my 8 year old son on a trip, just the 2 of us. This place was perfect! We enjoyed steaks on the grill, and a huge breakfast in the morning and spent some time by the fire pit. It was nice being so close to town, but the feeling of being secluded. It was a short stay for us, but we just might make it a yearly trip. We both had a blast and had time for some much needed father-son bonding. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful property with us! Until next year... Lance and Dominic.

We came to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! The home was so cozy and private the lake was beautiful! We drive and tubed Apple river it was freezing but we did it anyway and we had the time of our life! This is on our we will stay again list! We never usually make it back but would love to one day

Lovely cabin in a peaceful setting! Really enjoyed the large pond and boat. Couldn't see or hear any neighbors. I have misophonia so that was wonderful! Some friendly suggestions: Windows were smudged, clean windows would have showed off the views even more! The living room curtain rod kept falling down when opening the curtains. One side would disconnect from the other in the middle of the rod. An easy fix. Thanks for sharing your home with us! : )
