Pool is seasonal Memorial Day through October 1st season permitting. Fireplace is also seasonal please ask about your dates. THIS HOME WAS SCOUTED BY PARAMOUNT PICTURES FOR THE FILM "DADDY'S HOME2! FEATURING MARK WAHLBURG AND WILL FERRELL. It was so exciting to have them come out from California to photograph and film our home! SLEEPS 17 IN BEDS ****YOU WILL LOVE YOUR STAY WITH US. And the best part it is cheaper than renting 3-4 rooms in a Hotel. You can all be together.****** Home has a wheelchair ramp going up to the back deck with access to the master bedroom, laundry room, living room, dining room and kitchen. The master bedroom has lower sinks for handicap accessibility and also a shower with a seat in it. This beautiful Log home is located a short 30 minute drive from Chattanooga, TN. We are not located on Lookout Mountain however we "lookout over mountains." Experience the ultimate in relaxation as you look off your porch at miles and miles of serene beautiful landscape and mountains. Grab a cup of coffee, relax, enjoy this time with your family. Here are our rooms and the beds in each. "Bears Cove" Main floor. King Bed. Master bath with double sinks, jacuzzi tub and shower with a seat and his and hers showerheads. Has french doors out to the pool. Also has a recliner. "The Overlook" Top Floor. King Bed. Steps away from bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Has an ottoman that folds out into a twin bed with a thick memory foam mattress. "Drift Away" Top Floor. Queen Bed. Reading Nook with chair. "The Hideaway" Top floor. Note**you must walk through this room to get to "Drift Away" "Bears Den" Basement Level. Queen Bed. Steps away from bathroom with tub/shower combo. Gameroom is also on this level. "Rivers Edge" Basement Level. 1 Set of twin bunk beds and 2 sets of day beds with trundles. Total sleeps 6 in twin beds. Main level: Drive up level. 2 car garage. Pool. Kitchen, Dining, Living room, laundry, "Mountain Memories" bed and bath. Top Floor: Sitting room with Couch, loveseat and recliner. The Hideaway, The Overlook and Drift Away are on this level. Also 1 full bath. Basement level: Bears Den, Rivers Edge, full bath and Game room. This home is Tornado/Storm ready with solid poured concrete basement walls. Safe!

We enjoyed the kitchen and dining room table playing games for a winter weekend. The house was clean, easy access from interstate and the ramp was nice for loading and unloading.

The cabin and the view are absolutely gorgeous. We truly enjoyed our family Christmas. The only thing I wished for that there would be a little more Christmas decorations and the mattresses are really worn out as well as the furniture in the living room.

The perfect place for a family reunion! Our blended, busy three adult children, spouses and kids gather with us and this is their fav place. This cabin is comfy/spacious/well appointed for 8 adults and 8 grands 1.5 to 13 years old. And not just in number of sleeping options. The adults said they didn’t need to go anywhere (Chatt,hiking, etc) except to a close playground to burn off kid energy/get fresh air. Otherwise we just stayed on the property to play!! Great amenities. The huge garage offered “gym” space, the playroom downstairs competitive games, the big family room with lots of room for little ones toys, two big tables for eating & craft projects, hot tub for warm dips or casual drinks. We hardly watched TV! It may not be as perfect for every family but we’ll be renting (3rd time) next year. Manager was very responsive with pre-rental requests and during our stay. Kudos to cleaner Cassie who kindly mailed a left item to us.

This is a beautiful huge home. We easily fit 7 adults and 9 children. The game room is awesome for the kids. We enjoyed the hot tub every day. There are plenty of towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with necessities. Plenty seating for everyone for meals. You won’t be disappointed if you rent this home. There is also a beautiful inground pool. We’d love to go back in the summer sometime to enjoy it. No complaints from our 3 families. We were all impressed by the size and cleanliness. Communication is great. The master bedroom is massive and the bathroom is huge with a whirlpool tub and shower. Large walk in closet. TVs in every bedroom. This home is within 40 minutes of the ChattAnooga attractions. Love love love this place. Thank you so much!!!!

Such an awesome and beautiful log cabin for our family of 13, who were visiting the area to attend a family wedding. Everything you could possible need was provided and the property was well-stocked. The game room was a hit with the young ones and the adults enjoyed the large hot tub. The location was ideal for the wedding we were attending in Dalton, and we were also close enough to venture into Chattanooga.
Kudos to the owners for answering our questions prior to check-in. A special thanks to the housekeeper Cassie, who was able to get us in a little earlier than anticipated. She went above and beyond with her customer service skills and communication. Thanks for making our stay ideal and I would 100% recommend this property for a large group.

We had a lovely time staying for 1 week at this mountaintop cabin! We had 8 adults, a 5 year old, and 2 toddlers. Plenty of room for all. Safe for children. Toddlers slept in pack-n-plays that were provided. Really enjoyed the in-ground pool. The views were spectacular. Made wonderful memories.

My husband and I got married at Cloudland Canyon this week, and we rented this cabin for us and our bridal party. The cabin was stocked with absolutely anything we could have needed or wanted - plenty of kitchen essentials, extra blankets and pillows, PLENTY of space! We only had 1 kid with us but this property is excellent for kids!!
We had a few questions leading up to our reservation dates, and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The housekeeper, Cassie, reached out before and after our stay to make sure we had everything we needed!
The pool and hot tub were clean, well-maintained, and a great source of fun for our whole group.
The view off the front porch is unbeatable, and we watched a couple of beautiful sunsets over the mountains.
The property is easy to find and easy to access. Everything about this place is awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It worked perfectly for what we needed it for! Highly recommend staying here with a group of family or friends.

We just went in September for the second time. The home was sparkling clean for us and Cassie had great communication in the days leading up to our arrival. Kitchen was well stocked. All rooms had ample blankets and towels. Pool was full of floats! The place had been modernized since our last visit and it made it even more spacious. Between game rooms and the pool/hot tub there’s plenty to keep the kids busy while adults chilled. We sat on the front porch and enjoyed the views and peace and quiet as much as the heat allowed us too! I will add that in terms of bedrooms for couples, please just note 4 couples could sleep comfortably in private bedrooms. The 5th and 6th rooms both have several twin beds (with trundle options) so you can fit plenty of people in there but if you are splitting costs between several people, you’d want to consider this for whoever ends up in the twin rooms. They are great for kids! The upstairs twin room is a pass through room to get to one of the larger rooms so you’d likely just want your kids/teens sleeping there. All of the rooms are huge with ample space on the floor for air matts if you wanted to maximize that way. The upstairs loft space is also great for the person who is the last to go to bed:) plenty if room for air matt or just sleep on comfy couch. Love this house for a family gathering. It would be great for a large group of friends/reunion as well! Thank you again to the hosts!

I was not impressed with the house. Very poor maintenance done on the house. Beds were terrible, windows were covered with spiderwebs, some definite upgrades are needed.

This beautiful cabin was perfect for our family vacation. Our grandchildren range from 4 yrs- 11yrs. There was plenty for everyone to do. The pool and the playroom was the hit of the week. We all thoroughly enjoyed the front deck and the views are amazing! We made a few trips to Chattanooga and it wasn’t far at all. Cassie the housekeeper was wonderful. She texted us with very helpful information. We would definitely love to come back.

We had an amazing week in a beautiful home! Our family of 8 adults and 4 children (ages 71 to 3) was so comfortable. We had plenty of room along with a well stocked and very clean home, wonderful pool where we spent a lot of time, fun game room, and such amazing views. Our contact was very communicative and quick to respond. Highly, highly recommend!

Beautiful large home. Very spacious with rooms for gatherings of both kids and adults. Lots of time spent at pool, game room, kitchen or dining rooms playing games. Great communication with owners and housekeeper. Handicapped son able to get around quite easily even going around outside to get to game room! Will definitely recommend this home.

We take a yearly vacation with our 3 daughters, their spouses and our 6 grandchildren. It was great to all be together. The guys brought their motorcycles and went on a great all day ride, the kids did Whitewater rafting, Lake Winnie and shopping. We did a LOT of cooking and enjoyed the view.

This cabin is just amazing! There is some thing for the whole family and family time is what it’s made for! We had grandparent, parents and grandchildren, and we all had the best time! The cabin was pristine, and it is just made for big families. This is the second time we stayed at this cabin and we will definitely be back.

Eight friends get together yearly for a golf retreat. Had a few glitches initially with the door locks but figured them out. Lots of streaming content on the tv, but had to work hard to get CBS for the golf tournament, but was able to finally get it on You Tube. Everything else was very good with the house, although we are big grillers and an upgrade of the outdoor grills would be helpful, Overall a fine trip to the cabin.

Overall, we had a great stay at the cabin. We appreciated the location - close to Chattanooga and surrounding hikes, parks and attractions, but remote enough to offer privacy and gorgeous views! The layout was great for a large family (grandparents, 4 kids, plus spouses and young grandchildren). The interior was well-stocked and main areas clean. The property manager and housekeeper communicated often and kindly and approved our request to open the pool early, which provided lots of extra fun during our stay!
We gave the cabin 3-stars, because the deck and jacuzzi need some maintenance and there were a lot of carpenter bees and wasps that should be treated. Ultimately, the cabin had everything we needed and great views for a memorable vacation!

Cassie the housekeeper went above and beyond. We lost a credit card and didn’t realize until we were already back home. I texted Cassie and she found the card and offered to mail it back! She was so helpful. We loved the home and all the space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It was the perfect place for our family of 13 to be together and make some wonderful memories! We went to the Tennessee Aquarium, Children's Museum, Rock City, golfed, hiked, played games and enjoyed every minute together.

The cabin is exactly as described. It is a wonderful space for a large group. There was plenty to do, great views, and plenty of space for all of us. The game room was well set up, and We had everything we needed for a fun getaway.

Such a great property! We were here for a wedding and 10 of us stayed at the property and the rest of our family came over for dinners and to enjoy the amenities. Great central place for everyone to hang out! The extra refrigerator came in handy as well for the wedding cake! Don’t miss this family getaway!

First of all, Cassie the housekeeper was amazing! She texted me to let me know that we could check-in early and asked about having a child . She left my granddaughter some suckers and bubbles. What a nice touch!
When we walked through the door we were welcomed by a very clean smelling home with the fireplace going and music playing. Cassie was very communicative and truly a rock star! She set the tone for a lovely weekend.
The house is huge yet is very cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to throw down some serious cooking.
We had a great time and the house was perfect for a family of seven.
*oh about the bugs… yes, there were lady bugs, but the cabin is in the woods that’s what happens. I don’t think that I have ever stayed in a cabin without bugs. No biggie for us.
We will highly recommend this place to everyone.

It was so big! Loved that the 15 of us could stretch out in this home. Well appointed too. Lots of fun amenities--we didn't need to go anywhere except to hike. We'll likely be back next year!

We really enjoyed the cabin, it was perfect. We definitely preferred the choo choo lodge more because of the sleeping arrangements and more beds. We had to buy an air mattress for this trip because there was only enough places to sleep for 16 people instead of all 17 but the hosts are amazing, super communicative and the weather was perfect for basketball, the hot tub and all other activities including the very fun game room. They even recommended fun activities for us to do in town. Definitely will enjoy the cabin, I will tell others about this cabin!

What a stay - a group of us go away every year for a reunion, and this was the best place we've stayed. Great view, perfect football watching room, hot tub, basement games, and even a basketball hoop outside!! We loved playing HORSE so much we bought a net and attached it o the hoop. And by far the cleanest cabin we've ever rented. Kudos to Cassie and company!!

Can’t say enough about this place! Amazingly beautiful, very clean, well stocked, the whole package! Would stay here again and would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The cleaning staff even left candy and bubbles for my two children on their beds. Definitely a 10 out of 10!!
