About this condo rental
Nestled in Vermont, this lovely condo for $149 per night is a great option for your next trip. The condo is in a multi-unit building steps below Bolton Valley's main ski lodge, and one mile up the road from The Ponds wedding and event facilities. NOTE: we are not affiliated with BV resort; we are in an independently-owned condo association. SKIING AND HIKING TRAILS are just out the back door; The Quad and other ski lifts just out the front door. But if you prefer to stay inside and enjoy the view from the picture windows, you can hunker down in the cozy living room, where you'll find some cable TV, video/DVD, books, internet, and board games. It is in a quiet part of the resort if you just want to meditate or watch birds in summer; leaves change in fall; or snow piling up to the window. Who knows, a moose might even walk by. (PLEASE NOTE: Barbecue and grilling near the building are not allowed. No charcoal grills allowed on site. Our place is not suitable for children under 4 years old, due to small game parts, cleaning supplies, bunk beds, two gas fireplaces, etc.. Pets are also not allowed in our unit, sorry!) With all reservation rquests, you will be asked to complete a compliance form before contactless check-in. Please do not check in if you have symptoms like fever, fatigue, short breath, flu. We clean thoroughly between guests and leave the unit empty for 2 days between guests. SPORTS CENTER is open most months, with heated indoor pool, gym, hot tub, Nordic center-- less than 100 yds away. Pay a family day use fee to BV for the facilities; check the website for prices. KITCHEN is fully equipped and includes full-size oven, microwave, toaster oven, crockpot, dishwasher, blender. Bring food to cook; basics are found on the shelves (spices, sugar, oil, mustard, pasta, coffee, tea...) but you can buy groceries in WATERBURY or RICHMOND, Vermont. RESTAURANTS - If you don't want to cook, the on-site cafeteria has very good prepared soups and sandwiches till the afternoon. A small grocery has extended hours on site with local beers and wines, snacks, muffins, and such. There are a couple of seasonal restaurants on-site including a family diner-tavern, pizza bar, the Sports Center snack bar, and breakfast dining room open for hours that depend on the season (see BV site for specific hours). Waterbury and Richmond both have family-friendly restaurants and pubs (either one is 10 miles away). PHONE: Local landline telephone is in the living room. Wireless internet included. ACCESSIBILITY: Condo is at the end of a packed gravel sidewalk and one step to deck, if you park on the side of the building. LAUNDRY: Coin-op on site; coins available. Apartment-size washer and dryer on site too. BEDS: Master bedrooms contains a queen-size bed; bunk room has a narrow single bed, and twin bunks. Sofa is a full-size futon. A small trundle bed is available if the bunk doesn't work for you. BEDDING, towels, and "institutional" soap are provided. Bathrooms include 1 tub and 2 showers. RATES quoted are based on 2 people with a slight increase for up to three extra persons. ---- If you reserve, please note that Vermont's 9% ROOMS TAX will be added in the process, in addition to the base rate and VRBO fees. I've stayed at a lot of different places and this was definitely one of the cleanest places I've every stayed. The location is perfect, right behind the hotel, you can pretty much ski in and ski out. The unit was as advertised, two bedrooms, with two bedrooms and gas fireplace. A great place to hang out after spending the day on the slopes. I would stay here again.

This property was very clean and well appointed upon our arrival.
The owners were exceptionally nice and took extra care consideration to make sure we had everything we needed.
It was easy to manage and we felt very comfortable.
The only thing I would mention is the couches and chairs are not comfortable so if you plan on lounging around for a long time, you might want to look at the furniture. Be sure it’s what you want.

The property is a typical northern nh ski condo. Feels like home with plenty of toys, coffee, pillows, blankets, and great books. Easy communication with the host. If you want to see the beautiful foliage, the first weekend in October is the weekend to pick! We also enjoyed the 2 full bathrooms with our 2 young boys. Thank you.

We needed additional accommodations beyond the hotel capacity for our wedding at Bolton Valley, and this condo provided the perfect solution. My family enjoyed staying here very much! Would definitely recommend.

We planned our stay to watch the leaves turn and to run in the Leaf Peepers Half Marathon in Waterbury, VT. This condo was perfect of our family of four. It is cozy and comfortable and well stocked. The beds are comfortable and our boys loved the bunk beds. The location right next to Bolton Valley Resort was perfect. Easy walking access to lots of hiking trails. And an easy 15ish minute drive into Waterbury for additional dining and shopping options. We can’t wait to visit again!

The property was perfect. It has this great outdoor, woods, country smell that was amazing.
We were staying for a weekend wedding at The Ponds and we were right in the middle of everything the Resort had to offer.

Condo was perfect for my husband and myself. Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals. Master bedroom was relaxing, calming and great mattress. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Very kind and helpful. Highly recommend this rental. When in the area, would try to rent again.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at this well appointed condo. Checkin was a breeze and the owner provided helpful information before and during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. This is a ground level unit so up on the mountain the temperature in the condo stayed quite comfortable despite the heat outside. There were also fans in every room. We enjoyed the many games and Netflix when we had a rainy day.
Location was fantastic as it was a short drive to explore Stowe, Waterbury, and Burlington which are some of our favorite VT sites. Also, being able to walk over to the neighboring ski resort restaurant and market for a quick meal when we didn’t feel like cooking was a great convenience.
We have family nearby so definitely hope to come back again some time!

The listing was very accurate ( except it is the only condo without a number on the door-so that was a little confusing at midnight when we finally arrived). Other than that- the place was great and exactly what we wanted!

We had a wonderful stay over three nights for a ski trip. Walk to lifts. Very cozy condo with very nice gas fireplace. Plenty of room in the 2 bedrooms for the 4 of us. Well appointed with all the linens and blankets you could need. Great communication with the owner. Very clean. Can't wait to book again next year.

We are a family of 5 with 3 teen/tween boys. There was plenty of space for everyone in the condo. We enjoyed being able to ski into the condo (we had a lot of fresh snow - I’m not sure if you could ski right in if it hadn’t snowed as we crossed two little driveways). It is kind of a hike up to the lifts however, it is from the parking lot of Bolton valley as well. The days we were there the closest lift to the condo wasn’t running either. Overall it’s a great space and we enjoyed our stay. We would book again! We cooked in the condo all our meals and there were plenty of supplies for us to use. The view from the kitchen table in the morning is great!

This was a great value, given the mountain proximity and amount of space. Worked well for our family of 5 with kids aged 4-13yo. We especially enjoyed the boot warmer and gas fireplace! Would definitely stay again.

Great spot, lower level with awesome walkout to snow/XC trails. Cozy with views, well appointed and great mud room for hanging all your gear. Can ski down from wilderness lift, and easy walk up and also to the sports complex, would happily stay here again, host was excellent. Great for a family.

Family wedding weekend at Bolton Valley Resort. The wedding was at The Ponds, just a mile down the mountain road. All other wedding events were in Bolton Valleys Lodge, quick walk across the parking lot. Location was perfect!

Kitchen is so well stocked for everything you need to cook a family meal if eating in. Abundance of towels, pillows, cozy comforters. Recently my daughter and I flew to ME, NH and VT to celebrate her upcoming 40th birthday. Our stay in this condo was our favorite out of all three we rented. It was so cozy, had incredible views, detailed instructions for everything, and I especially appreciated having lots of basic kitchen necessities (above and beyond the typical coffee and sugar). The owner is super nice and we didn’t want to leave!

We just returned from a wonderful month at Bolton Valley. Beautiful condo with everything one needs. Beautiful area with refreshing weather, nice sunsets from the porch, lots of hiking trails, an escape from reality and a brand-new baby granddaughter close by. What more can one ask for?!?

Cecilias house was perfect for our weekend at Bolton Valley. There was plenty of space for our family and it was so close to the mountain. We will be staying here again next year!

Perfect property for a family with a great location for ski-ing. Very short walk to lifts and can ski back to the property. The kitchen is well stocked and the rest of the property has everything you need. Owners are very easy to contact and keep you aware of anything that you need to know.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The owner did a great job communicating with us and left wonderful instructions throughout the condo on how to operate everything from the gas fireplaces to the TV and thermostats. This was our first time to Bolton Valley. This is where the locals go to ski and now we know why. We skied Sunday through Friday and it was not crowded at all- not touristy at all. Only one day we had to wait in line a short while for the lift (Friday-after getting a foot of snow the night before & local kids were out of school) and it still wasn’t too bad of a wait. Be aware however that the “intermediate” slopes are much more challenging than you may be used to at different resorts. Some of them were full of moguls and were not marked as such. At other resorts I normally stick to the intermediate slopes but I was very content to stay on the beginner/green slopes all week here - they were plenty challenging in various places. Much of it was ungroomed. Every staff person we talk to at the resort was super friendly . The condo we stayed in was very comfortable. The owner really went overboard to make sure we had everything we could possibly need from extra pillows and blankets to kitchen spices & pantry essentials, plastic wrap/aluminum foil and paper products. The gas fireplaces were just wonderful. To get to the ski lift we just walked across the street from where we were parked in front of the condo and walked up the short hill to get to the first lift. Overall great stay! Oh, and if you are a chocolate lover you have to check out Lake Champlain Belgian chocolates in nearby Waterbury. Some of the best chocolates we have ever had! Our favorites were the raspberry truffles and their Aztec hot chocolate is amazing.

The condo was perfect for our family of two adults and two kids with room to spare. Very cozy and close to the mountain. The hosts have thought of everything to make staying there comfortable. Very clean, too. We look forward to going back. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the Bolton Valley Ski Resort. During the stay there was a water utility problem that affected the whole complex and the communication with the host was fantastic. We truly enjoyed the area. Downhill skiing and cross country skiing were fun and not too crowded. We would definitely recommend this place to other families.

The apartment was very well appointed and equipped although there could have been less of her stuff in the apt.
One problem was taht if anyone used any water in the apartment scalding water came out of the shower and then ice cold. VERY DANGEROUS. We reported it early in our stay and it was not mixed.
We cleaned the place exactly as per the instructions and left the place as clean as can be, wiping out the sings, sweeping, wiping down the counters, taking out the garbage etc. She then after the fact accused us of leaving a filthy place which was not true. She also accuse of of breaking a wooden duck that we never even saw. TO me she felt she rented too cheap and wanted to add a bonus for herself. I am sure she would not rent to us again and I would never want to. I hope VRBO takes action to make sure no one is seriously injured from the scalding water.
