Quaint 2 bedroom 1 bath home located in a quiet Saint Petersburg neighborhood. Walking distance to grocery store and nice park. Very close to variety of shopping and eateries. Short drive to Treasure Island, John's Pass, St Pete Beach, Gulfport beach and many more. The star of this home is the back yard oasis. Privacy fencing surrounds the entire back yard area. In ground salt water pool (Heated). Outdoor seating and lounging. Privacy area for changing. 4-seasons back porch area with seating and TV. The inside has a large eat-in kitchen flowing into the living room. Hard wood flooring throughout. Master bedroom has queen bed with TV and DVD player. 2nd room has full size bed with pull out twin bed, TV and DVD player. Cable and Wi-Fi is also available throughout the home. Single bathroom has a shower/tub combo. The garage also houses laundry facilities.

We stayed here for the month of January, and this unit pretty much met all of our expectations. The pool is fabulous and is well maintained. It is well heated and we were able to use it on all but the coldest of days....which unfortunately there were quite a few of during our stay.
The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of seating in the living and dining room area. The internet is very fast and was very reliable. The space is lacking of much decor, but no big deal.
The location is great to get to either the beaches or downtown St. Pete. Neighborhood was very quiet and seemed quite safe.
Our only issue was with the TV's. If you are familiar with using streaming services on a smart TV to access cable TV, and are used to using multiple remotes to do so, you probably won't have an issue. There were minimal instructions as to how to use them. I am fairly tech savvy and was able to figure it out, but my wife was totally confused by it all. We are senior travelers, and not yet familiar with some of this "modern technology".
Overall, it was a great stay and I would highly recommend this property. A great value for the price.

House was clean and safe. Location was quiet and convenient to head downtown St. Pete, Tampa, and the beaches. We enjoyed the pool!

The whole stay was enjoyable. The property was clean, updated, and centrally located! There were even Halloween/fall decorations throughout the house.

Loved everything about our stay. The nice neighborhood and the beautiful backyard. The privacy was fantastic for our adult getaway. Salt Water Pool was the highlight. The place was super welcoming and very clear. Can't wait to head back. Thanks to the Hosts for a wonderful time

Quiet and safe neighborhood for walking. Close to beaches, downtown, shopping, restaurants and groceries. Enjoyed spending days at the house, pool and yard…very inviting.

All the reviews are true. This place is awesome. Stay number 6 for us. The backyard is a favorite. We love how it’s all rock garden and therefore we get very few bug bites at this property. Grass equals bugs and the owner has eliminated that issue. We love the beds and the kitchen. Washer and dryer is a nice asset for our travels. Location is perfect. Neighbors very nice. Can’t wait to stay again soon. I want this house for myself.

Our family (2 adults, 2 young kids) had a wonderful stay at the St. Pete Backyard Oasis.
Property was located within 15 mins of everywhere we wanted to be i.e. downtown St. Pete, the beaches, St. John’s pass. Tampa was about 20-30 mins without traffic. Great location! Cute, old Florida style home. Neighborhood was safe and there is a Publix about 5 mins away. House was clean and uncluttered. Hosts had everything (and some extras) that we needed to feel like we were at home for a week. Very easy to work with. Obviously, the backyard pool was the highlight and really sells the place. Heated, saltwater pool -does it get any better? Very private and it does feel like a ‘backyard oasis’. My only suggestion is to update some of the online pictures. Backyard isn’t as ‘lush’ as shown in the photos, but it is still very lovely. The living room also had new couches and one of the bedrooms has a double and a single bed in it – better than the pictures online. I think the house looked better in person. Don’t hesitate to book this spot- I would highly recommend!

Great trip!
We had an amazing time! 25 mins from PIE, 15 mins to the beach and an easy drive! Pool was always a perfect temp and there were tons of pool/beach items in the garage! Kitchen was fully stocked and the tvs had access to all our favorite apps! Will definitely book again!

Short getaway
We had a 4 night getaway here. Me and my girlfriend. We loved the stay here. Excellent value. The pool is heated. Has some beach things in the garage to use. Many things in the house were supplied that aren't normally at other places we have stayed at. TV's are in the bedrooms. Used the propane grille and it was very nice.

Quiet Oasis
Lovely house in a quiet location. Pool was cool during the hot days and warm on the cooler nights. Easy to get to and easy routes to anything you might need.

This was a great getaway for our family. Location is central to everything you could want to do. Could possibly upgrade with better/more pillows. Other upgrades could be done to make the large outdoor space actually available to use, such as areas for outdoor games or even seating areas with ways to get to without walking over rocks. Overall this was a great place and would recommend to others.

Lots of stores and restaurants in the area and they all offer delivery. No problems at all when we were there. I did ask Ryan a question weeks before our trip and he responded almost instantly. Great property. 100% recommend for a family with kids.

Relaxing low key getaway
We had a great time relaxing in this beautiful little house. Our son loved the pool; as did we. The house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy are time away.

Excellent vacation home
We loved the property, it’s in a great neighbourhoo. The house comes with everything from beach toys to toiletries. Ryan kept in contact with us and responded quickly if we had any questions. We will be back for another vacation in the future!

Loved the backyard!
This house was just right for our stay in St. Petersburg. The house itself is smaller (two bedrooms) but was just the right size for our group of three people. The furnishings are updated, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. But the backyard is the main reason for choosing this house -- it feels very private and the pool is perfect for Florida. "Backyard oasis" is really a good description.
We also liked the general area of the house. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and only a mile or two from a Winn-Dixie. It's 10 minutes from St. Pete Beach (although I would recommend driving another 10 minutes further to get to Pass-a-Grille Beach if you prefer a quieter beach) and another 15 minutes from downtown St. Pete. We also spent time in the Tampa area, which is about 30 minutes away.
The owner was very responsive when we had questions too. It's easy to recommend this house.

My stay was for 10 days. The house is very clean and comfortable. Owner responded very quickly to answer any questions. Nice quiet neighborhood and the location is perfect for visiting downtown St. Pete and the beaches.
