About this condo rental
Studio with 2 Queen beds / 2nd floor / no pets / Parking passes for 2 vehicles We have wonderful views of the ocean and our unit is recently remodeled, without the rate increase! Our efficiency is equipped with 2 queen beds, full kitchen and again, fantastic views of the ocean on a private balcony. Island Retreat has 2 onsite pools and BBQ pits. Wake up to the sounds of the waves or take a relaxing walk down our board walks that lead to the beach, marking your own personal foot prints on the sand. Enjoy the outdoor grilling by our cabanas located around the pool areas and surrounding grounds. April also has Sandfest weekend where beautiful sculptures that are created by professionals are shown and the guests come to celebrate the weekend. We welcome your stay, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do! *Some condo owners are doing some remodeling. If you want a place that is incredibly close to the beach, close to a pool & feels safe, this could be your best fit. If you want something sexier, new/updated, with bells & whistles, you may want to keep looking. The condo will meet all your basic needs - full kitchen, space to eat, small living area, 2 beds & full bath. The pictures & description are accurate. It is an older unit in an older complex. This did not bother me as I was there on a photography trip & just needed a place to rest my head & get ready in the morning. A few thoughts on how the condo could be slightly improved - reinstall the toilet paper holder, replace the cracked window, clean or repaint the balcony (someone smeared dirt on the walls) & either replace the storm door that was obviously there at one time or remove all the unneeded hardware for the door frame. That being said, I would consider this condo again if visiting the area.

We ended up being moved to 132 instead of the one we rented because the owner was having a maintenance issue with the other. Appreciated that. The lawn etc of the property is very nice with nice large areas, pools etc. Nov is a great time to go because the properties are not busy. We had a nice view of the walkway to the beach - and dunes - nice. The one we were in needs some remodeling but it was clean. An Easy stay.

There was an unfortunate problem with our room, but the property manager fixed it quickly and kindly. We ended up having a very nice stay. Short walk down the boardwalk to the beach. Good time of year for a quiet, uncrowded visit. Would book again. Be aware that the automated welcome email is out of date and recommends a restaurant that closed in 2019. The Dollar General had surprisingly good prices for bacon, eggs, and such.

It was comfortable and easy to check in after hours. Convenient to come back to when out and about so we didn’t have to carry everything with us all day. Well Sunday lied with kitchen dishes and cookware. Fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, oven all great to have for leftovers from area restaurants. Boardwalk to beach. Some basic maintenance is needed- two lightbulbs in the kitchen not working, one light bulb on wall in sitting area not working. One lamp not working. One bulb in bathroom not working. Balcony light not working. Mildew/mold on bottom of shower curtain. Some ants and other bugs but not infested.

The place was well kept and furnished well. Loved the sunrises over the gulf. Well maintained and ac worked great. Very minor issue was no toilet tissue holder and there were some small beetle-type bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. Great place and I’ll come back if I get the chance.

We had a great time! The Condo was just as advertised and had everything we needed. We will return…next time we plan on staying an additional night!

The place was perfect for two! Beach is a quick walk! Pickle ball and tennis courts are right across the street along with 1 of 2 neighborhood pools. Super safe and cozy place.

This property was just what i was looking for. My mom and i used to live in port A. But she had not been there in 30 years. Room had nice cold ac. All appliances were brand new. Accees to the beach was fantastic with a great veiw of the ocean. Price was great compared to staying in a motel. I recommend this place anytime! Great stay!

We wanted a place close to the beach and this fit perfectly. The boardwalk was close-by which leads right to the sands. The place itself was very cozy with s good view. We really enjoyed our time there.

Me and my family stayed here and it was really nice. We had everything we needed and plenty of space to put our clothes since we would be there a week. The kitchen was also very nice. There is an ocean view from the balcony and a boardwalk to the beach. It was also located near the stores and restaurants. We loved the pool the most! It was really nice and big with plenty of lounge chairs and a gazebo with plenty of tables. We cooked in the kitchen a few nights and dollar general was also right down the street so we could get some baking dishes and utensils. (They provide a lot! It’s just our personal preference to use our own.) We will definitely be back!

We needed to take a break from the daily grind and we absolutely loved our stay. We could see and hear the ocean from our room! Easy access to the beach and the pools. Everyone was so friendly and the place is relatively quiet even in busy season. Perfect fit for our family and will definitely keep coming back!!

The view was very nice the room was very nice overall. It was nice accept the roaches the first morning one crawled out of the coffee pot then later that day 1 almost fell on my head walking through the. Door overall we killed about a dozen open in the room definitely needs to be few negated.

Nice place ! Quick easy on a boardwalk to the beach and easy drive to town, but not right in the middle of a crowded area! (Which we enjoyed)
Pictures are accurate. We enjoyed our stay even though it rain the entire beach vacation.

We loved having a view! The condo was clean and bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was awesome. We look forward to coming back. We did have a lot of difficulty opening the patio door. It needs repair.

The unit was clean, cute and beds very comfortable. Beautiful view off the balcony. Pool and surrounding grounds were clean and beautiful. On site management staff very friendly. Best part was the walkway to the beach was only a few steps from the unit and maybe a 2 minute walk to the beach. It also lead right to the sandfest location. Absolutely perfect for us!

It would have been great had the weather cooperated.

The condo was nice, but small and is in a great location and and has a fantastic view. We had our two have small children with us (17 months and 2) so I was a little disappointed there was only a shower and not a bath tub as they are not really fond of showers yet. Overall it was nice for a quick getaway with the family.

Really can't say enough good things about this property. If you want to be at the beach, yet close to shopping this place can't be beat. Very nice recreational facility on the property if you're into that, but why when the beach is a short walk away with great views from the balcony.

Short walk to beach. Loved there was nothing between us and the water (except dunes of course). Only thing to make it better would be room darkening curtains.

The location overlooking the sand dunes and sea is incredible. Cozy and comfortable. Short walk to the beach was so convenient. Very quiet. Kitchen had everything.
Once we got the A/C and coffee maker programed we were set.
The sliding patio door was sticking on the bottom. Time for WD 40.

Very comfortably fit 3 people. Great view from the balcony! Very comfy beds. Plenty of pillows. Loved the living area, very comfy couch and made for a great hang out spot. Ceiling fan and ac unit combo is amazing! Coffee pot is a little tricky to work but we got it going. Everything was perfect! Great place to stay, highly recommend!

I needed a quiet getaway, so waited until “shoulder season” and it was exactly what I hoped for. I had coffee at sunrise and walked the beach at sunset. The beach path was just at the corner of the building, which was great. Kitchen was well-stocked with equipment (Cooking is my thing) and the ice maker worked well! I’ll definitely be back.

Great location and so easy to get to the beach, the pool, restaurants, ice cream, everything needed for a perfect vacation. The condo had all that we needed and we were very comfortable.
