Stayed for my sons wedding. Loved the free parking in back.Verrrry nice decor. Had to use the toaster in the living room as no plugs in the kitchen. The REAL problem was the entry. Im seventy, my wife is seventy one, my brother is 82 and his wife is 77. The appartment is on the second floor and has an EXTREMELY steep stairway going up. the risers also are not the same height. No carpeting and extremely filthy.

Second time back to this property and will be back again. So convenient being right across the street from the L platform, especially when it was cold. The apartment is full of fun decor and so comfy to have as a home base after exploring the city. Walking distance to a lot and a quick train ride to the rest. Thank you, Dean, for another great, long weekend. Such a wonderful place to stay while we play.

Me and my family of 5 w/ kids 10,8,3 stayed here during the Chicago Marathon. The location was amazing due to its location close to the route and so close to public trains. It’s a bit tricky to find but Dean was awesome when we called and got us situated very quickly. Apart for some street and train noise in the living room it was a pretty quiet stay. Bedrooms were well furnished and as quiet as you could expect. Large living area was a plus and the whole place was well maintained. The buildings stairway up is a bit dirty and worn. But otherwise this place is a great option for a 2 bedroom place so close to everything you could want.

This is a really cool place to stay! Super comfortable and lots of space to hang out. Highly recommended!

Our teen kids, partner, and I had the pleasure of staying here for a weekend of concerts. The property was clean, located amongst restaurants with easy access to tourist venues, and the host was responsive to the one inquiry we had. I would highly recommend this property!

We spent 5 days here and absolutely loved it. Dean and his wife were fantastic with communication and were very helpful and flexible during check in and check out. The place is in great shape - clean, everything works, has all the appliances you would want - and has great decor and ambiance. It is in the heart of the amazing bars and restaurants of River North and is in walking distance to all the sites and scenes of the core of Chicago. We would stay here again any day!!

Very impressed with the decor and it was the perfect vibe for our Rock and Roll weekend at Wrigley Field seeing a concert. The hosts were accommodating and responded quickly with any questions. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The area is in a great location with plenty of things to do and the brown line is very close by.

We all thought this apt. would be perfect based on the description of the property on VRBO and the reviews we read. However, we were very disappointed. We noticed right away when we entered the stairway to the apt that the walls, stairs, handrail etc were terribly dirty. And not esp safe. Stairs are steep, and short in depth. We then noted that the apt was not esp. clean either. The floors were not cleaned from wall to wall. Noted they were very dirty under furniture and behind furniture. The netting over the master bed was filthy with dead, dried bugs on top of it. The parking behind the apt was very sketchy. Nothing about the location seemed safe to us. We saw several things that caused concern and at one point a man spoke aggressively to our male friend and made negative hand gestures. He was sitting at a picnic table right out side our entrance door. He threw several things on the ground before leaving. . We made the best of it and did not spend much time in the apt. We would not return or recommend to our friends. The positives were that the owners were available when needed and friendly. The apt is decorated very well in a rock and roll theme.

We loved this rental. The convenience of being right off the brown line was top of the list. It was also great to be able to walk to restaurants, and having our car close by was perfect for getting to places further afield. The property owners were super responsive while we stayed (I'd accidentally parked in the wrong spot, but was notified right away). We were even granted some extra time to vacate- so appreciated. I'd certainly stay here again with my family.

Good apartment with kitchen and living area. Decent sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Parking available, short walk though may be easier to pack light due to parking spot being distance from apartment. Loved the rock and roll theme as we were in Chicago for a concert so really cool!!

Super nice in the heart of the Chicago Experience. Shops and dining just out the door or literally below you. Enjoyed our stay. Only negative is the master and master Bedroom conveniences are tight to include the size of the Master Bed itself but all is provided that the space affords.

Perfect location, 1 minute walk to Subway trains. Fun atmosphere and decor-great for fans of classic rock!

Cool Property - Has all the amenities and walking distance to all the great GOLD COAST, Water Tower, Rush, Grand Lux Café, Gibson's and Lux Bar locations! Dean and his wife responded to all questions promptly! Love it!

It has all the necessities, cool decor, and is in a great location to walk or take public transportation to anywhere in the city. The train and bus are literally outside the door and there’s a bar/restaurant below the apartment. Plus there’s a grocery, drug store, gas station and urgent medical clinic within a block, and lots of great restaurants close by……so very convenient! The owner was extremely accommodating with us, as we had late flights, and responded quickly. Overall, great experience!
