We had cousins weekend with 6 adults it was a beautiful welcoming home! Quick walk to beach we all would definitely stay here again! Owners seemed very sweet 😀

The property was very clean and provided everything we needed. It was close to the beach but away from crowds. We only stayed 3 nights but I could imagine staying a week or more and being happy.

The house is small but nicely updated and has everything you need. Having an umbrella, beach chairs, etc available. The beach was a quick walk but is only accessivle by stairs and is completely covered at high tide. There is another slice of sand that stays dry a short walk away. It was also nice to be able to walk to a smoothie shop, cafe and casual restaurant.

Excellent location and comfortable accommodations; we forgot a few things at home and were delighted to find those items at the house for our use during our stay. I thought the home was more spacious in person than it appeared on VRBO.

Our off season stay for the Christmas prelude in Kennebunkport was perfect thanks to the great location and house! The hostess was very communicative and offered great suggestions :) We want to come back in the summer but it’s already fully booked- not surprising!!!

House was very convenient to the beach/town on a quiet street. You can see the ocean from the edge of the driveway! It had plenty of space for our family of 5, and is great for young children (complete with bunk beds, toy closet, books, beach toys, etc...). The owner was very pleasant to work with!

We had a great time in Wells Beach!! Highly recommend this adorable place. Short walk to the beach, shops, smoothies and breakfast bowls and a short drive to the best seafood!! We will definitely be back!

This little cottage was exactly what we wanted and needed. It isn't huge but it's not at all cramped either- the layout and flow worked great for our family of 5 ( 3kids between ages 4 and 6). They had toys and books and beach equipment galore, kids bikes and a stroller, etc etc... the beach is incredibly perfect for small children and is literally a 2 min walk from the house. Also a few min walk away is a cute playground and a couple of small shops and restaurants. Within a 5-7 min drive you can be at any type of restaurant/shop/grocery/ice cream etc. It's not a walkable town but is within 15 min of Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We also went up to Portland for an afternoon very easily.
The host was super accessible by text giving me live info and suggestions as needed. The kitchen is well stocked including children's dishes.
There is ample closet space but somewhat limited dresser space- they do provide several hangers but I recommend bringing more esp for kids! Although I did eventually discover some drawers under the bunk bed.
Washer dryer in basement were super helpful.
There's no ac and only one ceiling fan (in biggest bedroom) but there are some plug in fans around the house and tons of windows- so you can get a great breeze since the ocean is so close.
Extra bonus is that there's a lovely view of the marsh at the other end of the street and even from the windows. Being on a dead end street was also wonderful for our kids.
My kids absolutely loved it here and so did we. Highly recommend!!

We had a great stay at in Wells. The property is a short walk to the beach which was great for our preschooler. We couldn’t have asked for a better selection of toys and the house was modern and had everything we needed. Hope we can visit again soon.

It was the first time taking my almost 2-year-old daughter on vacation, and we could not have picked a better place to stay for her! The property has everything for small children - it’s one floor, super clean & open, no hazards, comfy, and built in amenities including a crib, tiny chairs, toys, books, stroller, etc. We loved how clean and updated everything was for our stay. Plenty of parking right next to the doors that makes unloading and packing up a breeze. Fully operational kitchen to make meals in. Lyndsay checked in to make sure our needs were met and was very gracious from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend more!!

This is a wonderful quaint little cottage. The interior is light and Airy. The minute you walk in the door you feel like you're at the beach. The house is wonderfully supplied with anything you could need and the owner is wonderful and making sure that you have everything you need would stay there again in a heartbeat. It is close to the beach close to other attractions like shopping and wonderful restaurants.

Lyndsay provided clear check-in instructions and was easy to get in touch with. The home was perfect of us, our 14 month old, my parents and sister. While in the area, we visited the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge for a peaceful, short hike and the town of Kennebunkport which are both a short drive away.

Fun Family Vacation
We had a great stay at Wells Beach in early Aug with our family, which included multiple generations from Grandparents, parents, and an infant (10 month old). The owners were very responsive to any questions or needs we had. The home was stocked with most everything we needed for cooking, comfort, and many toys/baby items (stroller, crib, etc). Beach is extremely close walk (2mins). The closest beach section does get covered during high tide(which you can’t control) but there is other access and parking lots at other end for beach during high tide. Overall location is great for shops, cafe and playground and very short drive (5 mins) to Hannefords grocery. Would recommend rental and Wells Beach for future and hope to return. Thank you!

We loved staying here with our kids - this house is the perfect house for little ones - and the pictures do not do it justice - it's very very cute! Can walk down to the beach too!

The perfect beach house
If the house looks beautiful, clean, and new in the pictures it’s because it is! I’m a builder and I can attest to the wonderful job the homeowners have done here updating their home. The tile and hardwood throughout made tidying up after a sandy beach day a breeze, the spacious kitchen was equipped with anything we needed and made preparing meals easy with multiple people working, and we especially enjoyed the stand up tile shower with removable hand spray to help with the kids. Just a very short walk from the beach and arcade(important for little legs) and with a basement full of chairs, toys, and floats this house definitively comes as advertised. The homeowners were delightful and responsive from the get go and we can’t thank them enough for sharing their home with us. We’ve been vacationing in wells for years and have yet to come across something so modern and convenient. Highly recommend following up on this one
