About this house rental
Built in 1925, Our Casaita Verde 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath home still retains its vintage charm but with modern touches. Conveniently located near Downtown Sarasota on Bahia Vista with easy drive to Lido Key, our World Famous Siesta Key or I-75 for longer adventures. The Kitchen is open with Granite Counters and everything is included to make your stay comfortable. Even a Krups Coffee Maker for your morning Cup O’ Joe. Enjoy watching the 55 inch flat screen TV with HD cable and stay in touch with the world with WI-FI internet. Lounge by the private pool or take in the beautiful evenings on the deck with your favorite beverage. Pet Friendly! Up to 2 medium sized dogs. We hope you will make our Casita Verde a permanent part of your Sarasota vacation. ***During colder weather we set our pools to 85 degrees from 8am to 8pm. It will take a few hours for the pool to heat up. We can't make it any hotter because the heater simply can't reach it due to the outside being so cold.

The place was very nice and loved the pool.

The owners of this spotlessly clean cottage were very responsive to texts and calls. The kitchen is stocked with any and everything that you need to feel right at home. This cottage is on a busy road as others have mentioned. It’s close to various beaches (10-20 minutes) and lots of restaurants. We had bad weather so spent a few days inside chilling. My only concern was the couch is uncomfortable needs replaced. They replaced the recliner while we were there because it was broken upon our arrival. The pool was nice and warm since it was chilly outside, I really enjoyed that. Wish list for us would be tv in the bedroom because we are use to it lol.

Home was extremely well appointed and super clean. Very close to downtown Sarasota and all it has to offer. Property manager was on top of things and the owner called to see how we fared from the hurricane that passed by. I whole heartedly recommend thus property.

The house was perfect. It was beautifully decorated and spotless. The patio outside and pool were a wonderful getaway. We would definitely rent this again. The hostess was extremely helpful and friendly. A+

My husband and I spent 12 nights in this property along with our 2 dogs. Very delightful bungalow and relaxing yard and pool. Patio outside is very shaded under a mango tree and the pool was very comfortable. Bed was extremely comfortable and I am very picky! Everything worked well and the place was neat and clean. It is located on a somewhat busy street so pulling in and out of the driveway can be tricky but once in gated drive, you are in your own oasis. Yes, there was some traffic noise but you get used to it and it slows down in the evening. Our only negative is there is no grass for the dogs. I knew this ahead of time but thought they was go in the dirt garden but they wouldn’t so we just took them for short walks or over to dog park several times a day.
Loved this place and hope to return…maybe for a month next time! 💕

Baseball Tournament
This is cutest bungalow. It was the right size for our family of 3 and a small dog. The size was perfect because I was to keep up with the cleaning as we were constantly in and out of the house. The baseball fields and beaches were close to the house. The house is well equipped. I absolutely loved the mango tree and the beautiful plants with their colorful pots. A recommendation I would add in the backyard is to add a piece of turf grass, so dogs can relieve themselves. Overall, it was just perfect and I would stay again!😍

Sister weekend
We absolutely loved this property! The neighbor was quiet. We visited the beach but really enjoyed just staying in the pool and hanging outside under the mango tree with all the beautiful flowers. Just a short distance from down town and all the shops. We can not wait to come back.

Perfect Place in Paradise
We really enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect size for our family of 4, and we loved the outside area - the kids especially loved having access to our very own pool for the week. The owners were very easy to contact if we had questions, and it was nice to have a place that was easily accessible to the airport and all the tourist attractions of Sarasota and Siesta Key, but in a quieter area. We would stay here again :)

It was clean, very well stocked as the owner allowed previous guests to leave supplies such as spices, coffee, tea, bottles of vinegar, etc. The kitchen was well equipped, although a juicer would have been a nice extra since we did visit a few orange groves. As the previous reviews stated there is considerable road noise, but we knew that and it's only an issue if you use the bedroom at the front of the house, which we did not. Perhaps a fan in that room would help with white noise. The pool was lovely and warm and there was not an additional charge for the heater as we have seen with other owners. Jim allowed us to check in early since we did arrive in Sarasota earlier than planned. Communication with him was easy and fast. We experienced only one hiccup and it was really our fault and it was quickly addressed without any problem. We would highly recommend it.

The house is very well decorated and extremely clean. The amenities were great! The pool is perfect for a quick cool down.
The rooms had closet and drawer space available. Tons of hangers. The bathroom was nice, the water doesn't have a lot of pressure.
The street traffic can be noisy at times. This is a pet-friendly location. We didn't bring our service dog with us but for those who plan on bringing a pet, there isn't any grassy area for your pet to relieve itself. You would have to walk quite a bit to find grass in the area.
The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pans, and spices. They even had an apron, available for use. Coasters and placemats were also available.
We felt very comfortable and very welcome! It was an excellent place to relax!

The interior is so cozy, clean and perfect. Kitchen is stacked well. We didn’t use the pool, but did enjoy the outdoor seating. We will definitely be back, since this visit was not for pleasure. Thanks to the host for making thus an amazing stay.

Mango tree oasis
The house is very charming and cozy with all the amenities you would need. We had coffee in the keurig waiting for us along with beach towels, beach chairs, bath essentials and a washer and dryer to use all week! The location is convenient to beaches and highways. Yummy breakfast place down the street called, Yoder’s and grocery stores near by. The pool area is private and relaxing and had a grill ready to use. The house’s patio is wonderfully landscaped with a mango tree! I liked the security gate on the driveway and keyless entry as well. Our small dog loved relaxing in the cool ac of the house and we were all very comfortable. I would definitely stay again because it was clean, comfy, updated and had an awesome backyard! Both the owners were so nice and hospitable and easy to contact! We cannot thank you enough!!!
