THIS IS A UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL BEACH HOUSE LOCATED DIRECTLY ON THE OCEAN!!! The beach house is located at the base of an oceanfront condo hotel with all the amenities you can expect : pool, fitness, tennis, security, restaurant, convenience stores etc..... The Building : Castle Beach Hotel and Residences, formerly a Hilton and then the Playboy hotel, is the ideal choice for your vacation in Miami Beach. The building is located on "Millionaires Row" on Collins Ave (A1A) in Miami Beach and just a few minutes away from world class restaurants, shops and nightlife. The Art Deco District & famous South Beach are a short drive away including Miami Beach Convention Center, Bal Harbour Shops, Aventura Mall, and Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino. Castle Beach Hotel and Residences offer amenities such as an in-house restaurant (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), a convenience store, laundromat, large pool with Tiki bar (Now under construction) Tennis courts, a fully equipped gym and, at additional cost, the Russian & Turkish Baths! Our Townhouse: Relax and rejuvenate on your private terrace overlooking a stunning white sandy beach. Our private Townhouse is located directly on the beach. Just step off the terrace and onto the sand. We are a fully equipped vacation home and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The Townhouse has floor to ceiling windows and includes 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The upstairs master bedroom has a luxurious king size bed, flat screen TV, Atlantic Broadband cable and high speed internet, a DVD player, 2 accent chairs, cabinets for clothing, and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. The main living area is located on the lower beach level and is equipped with 2 sofa beds (convertible into queen size beds for 2 people each), coffee nesting tables, a large flat screen TV, Atlantic Broadband cable and high speed internet, a DVD player and a modern dining table that seats 6. The kitchen, located on the lower beach level, has been completely remodeled with granite countertops, standard appliances; refrigerator, microwave stove and oven, white-lacquered cabinets, and is fully equipped with dishes, flatware, pots & pans and various cooking utensils. The second full bathroom is located just off the kitchen and also includes a walk-in shower. Both bathrooms (upper and lower) have been completely remodeled and include luxurious modern finishes. There is also a stackable washer and dryer set inside our Townhouse and is conveniently located adjacent to the bathroom on the lower beach level. All Linens and towels, including beach towels, are provided. The Townhouse is bright and sunny, with lots of closet space for luggage and valulables. The floor plan is very convenient with sleeping areas and bathrooms located on each level. The spacious 500 sq.ft. Private terrace is located just off the main living area and includes lounging deckchairs, outdoor dining table and a sun umbrella. JUST OPEN THE GATE FROM THE PRIVATE TERRACE AND YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!!!! Additional outdoor feature includes a newly installed beachwalk pathway where you can walk, run or ride a bike. There is also a large outdoor kids playground area and just one block south of the building. We offer one VALET parking space with your booking at no additional charge for the duration of your reservation. The City: Beyond the radiant sun and sand, discover Miami Beach’s rich history as an entertainment and cultural destination. From world-famous Art Deco architecture to renowned nightclubs, there is so much to do in Miami Beach. There are many attractions; airboats in the everglades, boat tours on Biscayne Bay, Jungle Island, Miami Seaquarium, Viscaya House museum, the Arsht Center Opera house, PAM art museum and FROST science center. My husband and I arrived to this town home our first night around 9:30pm after a long day we were very tired,but did notice the floors felt kind of sandy, woke up the next morning looking for towels and found them still wet and soured in the washing machine, the patio was very dirty also, we got ahold of ‘’Jeff’’ to let him know this was not acceptable, his response was,, he would send the maid to clean I then told him we would be checking out first thing in the morning, then his response was, My poor maid feels bad. In my opinion it should of already been clean to begin with when your having new people arriving, I then told him, we would be checking out first thing in the morning as we had to find an earlier flight home. So our 6 day vacation only ended up being 2 days , Jeff did not seem to care and only felt bad for his ‘’poor maid’’ ALSO where this townhome is located is in a very ‘’outdated hotel’’ that has a very horrible smell. Would not recommend at all.

Loved staying, bed was comfortable. I do wish there were blackout curtains; there is room darkening shades but not blackout. However I’m a night shifter and a night owl. Shower pressure in the downstairs shower was amazing. I’ve stayed in this building for years, first time on the first floor with the walk out to the beach, and I’ll never do anything different again! When we arrived, we opened the door to an overpowering pungent odor that we believe was an airfreshner. It was terribly overwhelming.
The greater concern was the visible mold and lack of cleanliness of the unit, which is why we believe such a strong airfreshner was being used. The floors were sticky, something nasty melted on the nightstand, and we killed something running across the floor that looked dangerously like a cockroach. Peeling paint, chipped tile, rust, mold, and grout issues in the bathrooms.
The cleaning supplies, vacuum, brooms, etc, were visible and very unappealing to have to look at considering the unkept state of the unit. The outside space was missing cushions, and the ones present were filthy and had mold on them.
Also, there were several amenities that were unavailable. The pool, there was on-site dining that was closed, and the "convenience" store was not convenient as they were closed or the computer system was not working.
Unfortunately, our experience with your property was overwhelmingly unhealthy and negative.

This was by far the best vacation home I ever booked, and I've booked alot!! The house is situated right on the beach, 12 steps from the gate of your private terrace. The house is decorated with modern furnishings and accents , and is stunning!! Everything you need to enjoy your getaway is provided, and the owner Ivana is just spectacular!!! I will definitely be returning in the near future!! DO NOT LET THIS SPECIAL GEM PASS YOU BY !!!

My family and I stayed here for a week and we loved it. The place is as advertised and the views and distance to the beach, can’t be beat!! We did not use the hotel amenities, but we did eat at the restaurant in the hotel a couple of times, and would recommend it. The valets were also fast, courteous, and professional. We would definitely stay here again!

This town house suited us perfectly. We rented simple bikes in the lower lever and biked each day on the walking/ biking path right outside our patio. The beach was also right outside our patio. A very pleasant stay.

Lovely Townhouse on the beach. Accommodations were spacious and included alot of amenities. The property where the townhouse is located is sub-par. The pool was cold and surrounding patio and seating needs major upgrading. The hotel portion was outdated and run down.

Overall, a great location for us! Nothing beats opening the back gate and being on the sand in 2 seconds, especially if you need a refill or potty break. Our family stayed Spring Break and totally enjoyed it,
Pros:
1) convenience to the beach
2) well stocked kitchen : pots, pans, some pantry staples, dishes, coffee filters.
3) well stocked closets: beach chairs, umbrellas, pack n'play, towels, pool noodles, even a walker for some reason.
4) huge patio for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Nice BBQ
5) motorized blinds with black out shades.
6) Bike rentals and small convenience store available first floor
7) The boardwalk is a great place to walk, run, bike, and its steps away from patio
Cons:
1) small ants like a previous reviewer mentioned. Do not leave anything open on the counters. Ants got all in our cereal. Leave in fridge or containers with tight-fitting lids
2) Swimming pool area has no ambience or landscaping. Looks like the parking lot. But we came for the beach so did not spend any time there.
3) The condo building itself is very outdated.
4) This is more a residential area: no walkable store fronts or restaurants near by, but still very busy with cars and pedestrian traffic.
5) Turkish baths were closed all week, despite the sign saying "open 365 days"
6) The gym has been moved to an area with no windows. Lots of (older) equipment, but I think more enjoyable to be outside in the sun.
7) In the condo, downstairs bathroom faucet is loose.

Well, let me start off with the positive. The apartment was very nice and the proximity to the beach was incredible.
The things that bothered us were the roaches in the kitchen. The upstairs bathroom had what I assume were fruit flies.The bathroom towels were raggedly and had bleach stains on them. We had emailed the host on Tuesday and we never heard back from them which is very displeasing to me. The building is very run down. There are very few lounge chairs by the pool and almost all of them are broken. There is paint peeling off the outside of the building. Having said all this we did enjoy our time there. The views are incredible.

This was a fantastic rental property. The view and proximity to the ocean was even better than advertised!! The place was clean and bright when we arrived. Had a tiny problem with small ants crawling the counters, but it wasn’t too much of an issue. Would definitely recommend as a stay!

Things I liked:
Spent a month here and had a lovely vacation in south Florida. We had a car and did a lot of exploring.
Good value for a great beach location.
Beautiful Miami beach literally outside your door!
Beach walking path wonderful. Goes for miles!
Gorgeous sunrises and views from upper level (bedroom).
Bicycle rental close by.
Brand new kitchen appliances and washer/dryer.
Fast internet.
Comfortable king sized bed in bedroom.
Large deck with table, chairs, and couches.
New BBQ on deck.
Rain-shower and handheld shower fixtures.
Pretty turquoise colour theme throughout.
Host (Ivana) communicated well. A broken microwave and burned out light bulbs were replaced quickly.
My son and I enjoyed the poolside bar.
The valet service was included (required). The valet staff were super friendly and accommodating. Bring tip money. Shout out to Marvin!
Walkable to 3 great restaurants which were hidden in neighbouring condos (Bernie’s, Lola, sushi place).
Things I didn’t like:
Spiral staircase to get to living area needed some painting. If you have mobility issues this is NOT the unit for you.
In general unit needs some maintenance and proper cleaning.
Bathroom sink areas moldy and one faucet completely loose. Excessive use of caulking to cover mold.
Junk in closets and cupboards (Paint, construction materials, ladders, broken vacuum, etc) was off putting.
Inadequate cutlery, cutting knives, pots and pans.
Bedding supplies were inadequate. Needed new clean pillows.
Cockroaches and ants in kitchen.
The building (which has no name) is a bunch of individually owned units. It does NOT feel like a resort or hotel. It is in rough shape. The lobby is almost ridiculously ornate and out of date.
The front desk where you check in is manned by rude security staff who are NOT service oriented. You will NOT get help with your baggage. Baggage carts are in short supply.
You will frequently find long lineups at check in time plus disgruntled patrons trying to ask questions of security.
The pool is NOT heated. No pool ambience or landscaping.
Valet parking is required. Beware of long line ups at checkout and crazy busy over the holidays.
The area is not walkable to shops, restaurants, groceries.
The deck was nice but you had to look at other units decks some of which were filthy and unkempt.

My husband and I stayed here midweek on a last minute vacation. The direct access to the beach is unbeatable. Great patio and directly on the bike path. The place is clean, spacious and has everything you could want. We did not spend any time at the pool given how close the beach was. The gym was a little bit tired but not crowded. Super responsive host who went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet beach vacation!

Overall star was good an pleasant! Patio area was our major hang out area. No bugs, very clear, decent furniture. The walking trail is tranquil even at night. Lots of resources within the building. Wish we would’ve taken advantage of everything during our stay. The restaurant in the building only had one chef so might be best avoid if you see a crowd as it may take a long time to get your food. Other than that, would stay again!

Pros - The place was as advertised, it really is just a few steps to the beach! The unit was clean, all furniture and appliances were in working order. I can’t emphasize the convenience of not having to lug beach chairs and umbrellas a long way ( or taking space in your car while traveling) to enjoy the beach. All were provided for in the unit.
Cons- no biggies here - the blinds at the masters bedroom ran out of battery bin the middle of our stay there, but the patio was a beautiful spot to watch the sun rise and sunset; and like I said the beach was just steps away. The valet service was pretty slow but we got around that by either having the tour bus pick us up or if you learn how to use the free trolley services that run around Miami Beach or the buses that bring you downtown Miami which run pretty late into the night and that pass right by the hotel entrance, you won’t need your car too much for the valet service to be a problem. These 2 cons won’t stop me from staying there again and again.

And this time we waited in a 40 minute line to check in which might have been due to lack of personel because Covid but if we didn't have to register a car it would have been swift as we knew the ropes. Bottomline - you can't beat beachfront - 5 steps to the beach.

Property location was just what we wanted! First we let owners know that back sliding door handle was broken and then unfortunately we aren't sand people we prefer lounging on chairs hearing the water/waves and there was only one lounge chair on patio which was surprising and second there was no light over dining room table so had to eat breakfast/dinner almost in the dark which made no since especially since there was track lighting sitting in the closet, but besides those two things we were surprised to have to pay a cleaning fee and then still have to pay an extra cleaning fee if we used the outdoor gas grill(which we decided not to use) or kitchen oven(left oven cleaner than when we got there) and not leave it cleaned! We even vacuumed the townhouse afraid we would be charged extra for even using the place! All they have to do now is wash/dry towels used and we could have done that as well and not pay a cleaning fee,
Otherwise place was in a perfect location!
