Located in Myrtle Beach, this attractive condo for $370 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to our direct oceanfront large corner unit condo at the Dunes Village Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! Our condo is located in the Palmetto Tower (the northern of the two buildings). This is a large direct oceanfront corner one-bedroom unit located on the 6th floor. This unit sleeps up to 6 guests. This unit is a direct oceanfront corner unit one-bedroom condo with floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area! There are two queen-size beds, a fully equipped open plan kitchen, a dining area, and a spacious bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub/shower. The living room has a full-size Murphy bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa. The unit also includes free wireless internet access, televisions in the living room and the bedroom, and a full-size washer & dryer. The rental includes bed linens and towels. In addition, we also provide a set of beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a beach cart as well as a pack n play! The Dunes Village Resort consists of two buildings which, combined, include an impressive indoor water park complex. The water parks cover approximately 30,000 square feet of an array of water park attractions, including Myrtle Beach's first adult-sized indoor waterslides, kiddies wet deck and play pools offering a selection of games and slides, a 250 foot long lazy river ride, a massive swimming pool with water volleyball and basketball, and a variety of hot tubs. *Please note that during the off-season, the resort does annual maintenance to the amenities. The unit was great. We had a large view of the ocean. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. The hotel meticulously cleaned each day. The pools were kept very clean. The only complaint we had was the pigeons roosting underneath the 7th floor. There was excessive amounts of bird poop on the hand railings and pipes that we saw and sometimes touched each time we came and went from the unit. The bird poop also fell on the mini golf course below making it unusable. The staff cleaned it each day, but it got gross quickly. If we stay at the at the Dunes again, it would be on a higher floor, so we wouldn’t have to encounter the pigeons or their poop.

For clarity, the condo/room was as described/pictured and overall clean. The resort had all the amenities as described and is an easy stroll to the beach itself. The living room was nice, and provided us with plenty of room. The kitchen had what we needed, although we also picked up plates and cups from the store. The bathroom is plenty big, but also poorly designed. Dual sliding doors where the locks dont want to work, and the tub is knee high which makes it harder for little ones to climb in and out of. A jetted tube in a rental space sounds nice, but I doubt it gets much use. There were plenty of soft towels, but only one shelf in the entire bathroom. The balcony was a great place to spend the 4th of July. Truly the highlight of our trip. However, the carpeting on the balcony is torn up and peeling. The resort next door, their outdoor bar area is directly below the bed side walls of this condo. Good luck getting to sleep before 11pm when the dj is blasting some of the worst hick hop you've ever heard. If you are there without kids, I'm sure its no problem. But trying to get a kid to sleep on the really cool murphy bed was a special treat.

The view is the best part that you will get. We came into town for a dance competition & needed a place for 5 of us. The view is spectacular, but the condo needs updating. You are outside & surrounded by pigeons until you make it to your actual room. Both doors to the bathroom do no lock - BEWARE! Our 16 year olds friend walked in on me changing. The windows to look outside the side were filthy and there were several cockroaches inside the condo making it not comfortable to sleep at night. It states the beds are queens, they are doubles. The Owners stated certain items that would be in the condo for use were not. It's unfortunate that these things were not taken off the forms. When I reached out to him, I was given the answer that "people take stuff unfortunately and that the hotel is responsible for spraying for bugs". This is a privately owned condo. Nothing is taken care of by the hotel, it was all done by us. Paper towels and toilet paper were scarce, as there was not even a full roll for us to use, just what was left over from the last guest. I wasn't able to check out the waterslides, but our 16 year old & friend said they were not good, so when it says "Largest indoor waterslides" don't expect much. It has older appliances as well. We saw several other condos friends were at that were very nice & cheaper to rent. If you're looking for a great view, you have it (& are paying for it), but other than that, I would keep looking.

We planned a short weekend get a way. Turned out amazing. It rained all day Friday but due to all there was to do at the resort the rain which would have ruined a day wasn’t noticeable. The kids loved the water slides and lazy River. Regardless of the time of you this resort was great. Our room was extremely clean and perfect for 6. Thanks for helping us make remarkable memories.

Loved the location! Great waking up to see the sun rise on the balcony. Kids loved all the pools and being right on the beach. We would stay here again.
