What a lovely stay in Sarasota! Joe and Pat were wonderful hosts and the apartment had everything we needed during our 5-day stay. Conveniently located and an easy drive to the beach, downtown, etc. We will definitely be back!

Not knowing Sarasota myself (although my husband had visited 25 years previously) when searching for a rental for a month's stay I had no idea of where to look in the city. I got really lucky with The Nest. Joe & Pat were fabulous hosts, very welcoming and friendly and helpful with any questions we had or with anything we needed. The facilities are great. the kitchen is equipped well, although we did very little cooking, too many places to eat out! The master bedroom has a large and comfortable bed which is always an important factor. There was lots of storage space for clothes and to put our empty cases etc. Plenty of options on the TV including Netflix and good WiFi coverage. The bikes were an added bonus which are there for use by guests. There are also beach chairs and cool boxes which are very useful. Although the house is on a relatively busy road there was very little traffic noise, it didn't bother us at all, even being light sleepers. The location however meant that it was incredibly easy to get to amenities, there is a local shopping and dining centre which is a 5 minute walk away and walking into town was equally as easy, flat route, as pretty much everywhere is, and took only around 20 minutes. We played tennis many times which located a 5 minute drive away and golf is readily available at many local courses we we also played. Overall our stay in Sarasota was highly successful and enjoyable, this essentially been down to Joe and Pat and the comfort and convenience of The Nest. We hope to be returning in the not too distant future.

We are so thankful we were still able to come and stay only a week after Hurricane Ian came through! Joe and Pat were great to communicate with and kept us posted on the status of everything. Their place is very clean and we really enjoyed our stay. It's walkable distance to downtown Sarasota (although we drove most places since parking was free at the waterfront and beaches). I used a bike one day to go to the Farmer's market, which was fun. A lock, helmet and pump were provided. We loved that there were so many extras like a beach wagon, beach umbrellas, chairs, coolers, beach blanket, tennis rackets, books etc. Only thing that would have been nice would have been a washer/dryer for if we were staying longer. The place was quiet and close to many restaurants, shops and grocery stores. About 15min from Siesta Key. Thanks so much!

Stayed for a almost a week to drop daughter off to school and it was so nice to have a beautiful place to stay at that had all the comforts of home, and close to everything we needed. Not having to stay in a cold hotel room each night made it easier for us. Great people and so welcoming to their place.

Joe and Pat were fantastic hosts. The Nest is a great place and the cleanest, most comfortable place we have ever rented. The Nest was stocked with everything one might need and then some! Also the location can’t be beat. Needless to say, we had a wonderful time thanks to wonderful hosts! We will be back!

Joe & Pat are fantastic. We had some flight problems and never arrived in Sarasota until the very early morning hours. Joe & Pat worked with us to get access with no issues. We were in town to apartment hunt for family members and “The Nest” was a perfect home base. Location is great. We couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating space. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My mom and I flew out for a girls weekend to kick off the summer. Our flight got delayed but these lovely hosts stayed up to ensure we got in safe and became familiar with the home when we arrived. The space felt so comfortable and the beds were just as comfortable. Just about everything a person could think of possibly needing for their stay is provided. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Joe and Pat are charming hosts to an equally charming VRBO. They helped make our stay to the beautiful Sarasota area one of our most memorable vacations ever. They went above and beyond to ensure we had all that we needed, including the use of their bikes. The location was perfect for walking and bike riding and centrally located so that getting to restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, the beach, downtown, botanical garden, etc. was easy. Pat and Joe are the most gracious hosts and provided a ton of info on all the local places. They even brought us drinks when we arrived! So special!! The Nest is an ideal getaway spot! It is adorably decorated, very clean, great amenities and perfectly located. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and responded immediately if we needed anything. We will definitely be back!

It was attractively furnished with comfortable furniture. All the necessities and many extras were provided. We highly recommend renting from Joe and Pat.
