About this condo rental
Situated in Gatlinburg, this attractive condo for $179 per night is a great option for your next trip. This is our personal property and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. We have made it 'Mountain Lodge Style' with a rustic warm feel. Includes stone fireplace, knotty pine paneling and doors, new floors, new bathroom fixtures and kitchen counter tops. Master has a King bed, 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed, Fully equipped kitchen, free 'WIFI', 32 inch flat screen (cable) TV in living room with Blu ray DVD player, electric fireplace, laundry room (coin operated) right across from our door, heated pool (seasonal), 2 hot tubs, sauna, game room, 2 gas grills and 2 charcoal grills and picnic areas available, plenty of green space around buildings, keyless entry, and free parking. We are 5 to 30 minutes from most attractions but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. Area Attractions include: Dollywood Theme Park*Splash Country Water Park*The Island at the new LeConte Center offers shopping, Jimmy Buffet's 'Margaritaville' Restaurant*The Wheel (200ft Ferris wheel with enclosed gondolas)*The Gatlinburg Aquarium*Space Needle*Titanic Exhibit*Dixie Stampede*Outlet Shopping (Tanger, FIve Oaks, Red Roof)*along with comedy theaters, magic shows*go carts*miniature golf*Anakeesta*Wild Grove at Dollywood*SkyBridge at Gatlinburg Skylift*Mountain Monster*etc. Ole Red restaurant in Gatlinburg :) Other Activities include: The Arts and Crafts Communities*museums*wineries*art galleries*year round ice skating*white-water rafting*ziplines*trout fishing*helicopter tours*great antique stores,etc. Harrah's Cherokee Casino is about an hour away and you can even buy some Tennessee Moonshine if you so desire. (Legal of course!) If you come off the interstate at the 407 exit, Bass Pro Shop is right there and just a few miles down Hwy. 66 (Winfield Dunn Parkway) you will find Smoky Mountain Knife Works.

This condo used to belong to my grandfather and holds all of my favorite family vacation memories. Getting to come back with my little girl and seeing her running around where I used to was so heartwarming. The Oliver’s were awesome hosts! It’s tucked away perfectly on the mountain to feel like you’re not staying amongst all of the busy traffic but still close enough to all of the fun! We will definitely be back!

This condo is true to its description. Tucked away at the literal top of a mountain, the condo was everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Everything was very clean, the property manager responded quickly to all requests, and everyone staying around us was very respectful. I highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful condo! The views on the drive up were incredible. We will definitely consider renting from the Olivers in the future. My husband would like to join us next time. I think he was jealous because he missed out. LOL! We did notice a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom to the left. It might be a stain from a previous leak, but we thought you should know. Thank you for providing me, my son, and our friend a pleasant experience.

The owners have done a wonderful job creating a rustic cabin setting within this cozy condo perched high on the mountainside close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg. We spent our family weekend enjoying several hikes during what is considered to be one of the busiest times of the year at GSMNP, so it was particularly refreshing to drive back up to the condo after a long day to relax and rejuvenate in a setting that provided a sense of seclusion and quiet. It was the perfect accommodation for our family of four. We took advantage of both the grill and the hot tubs located on the premises. We did not see any bears this time as other guests have, but we did see a mother and her cubs in the park. All the amenities were as advertised (we couldn't quite figure out how to get local channels but there were plenty of options available for guests needing to watch TV which was certainly not a priority for us). We particularly enjoyed family meals around the small dining room table and the spacious kitchen counter that gave everyone ample room to prepare lunches and daypacks for each day in the park. We felt welcomed from the first communication with Mark and Joni to the time we opened the door upon arrival. Thank you for sharing your Smoky Mountains treasure with us! We would definitely consider another visit!

This "cabin" was a surprise for my wife's birthday. By viewing the pictures, it appears to be a quaint cabin. When she got there, it was a condo. She was on the 2nd floor, and there was a floor above her. For the three nights she stayed there, she heard people taking showers above her between the hours of 6 and 7 am. On one days there was a child that kept running back and forth around 6 to 7:30am. I would have never picked this place had I know it was a condo and there would be a lot of noise. She contacted the hosts, but they didn't answer her until Monday as they were out of town with no cell service, yet their instructions say, "contact us anytime". She also reached out to them Sunday and informed them she would not be staying there on Monday night as her friend from CA had never been to her new home in TN. She had requested they possibly refund her last night stay and they refused. She was very upset about the entire situation and the hosts told her maybe she should direct her aggravation towards her husband...that pretty much ruined it. Requesting just one night refund as she did not stay and she left before 11am on Monday. Also requesting the hosts update their verbiage to state this is a condo, not a cabin. It is located on the 2nd floor of a 3 story building. I really feel given the circumstances, we should be entitled to a one day refund. I would ask for everything, but I do understand, we used the property. Thank you for your time in this matter.

Very clean property very clean rooms and so forth. It was well equipped with everything we needed for that stay. I would have liked the view to be a little different. But not bad. I did send a text to the manager of the property and did not get a return on that. But it was nothing or shattering so I never reply back to them.

Loved our stay in the mountains at Mark & Joni’s lovely condo! Rustic lodge decor was amazing, sparkling clean and very comfortable. Was the perfect mountain stay for our family including a bear 🐻 sighting from the balcony. Would absolutely stay again! Thanks Mark & Joni!

Vacation Haven is a perfect condo for 2 people. The furniture is comfortable, the room not overly crowded, and the chairs in front of the bay window look straight out to the Long Beach Boardwalk and the ocean. We had great people watching, wave action, and a beautiful sunset the first night. Since it's in the heart of town, good restaurants are close and the kitchen is well equipped for fixing a mean or heating up leftovers. We enjoyed the gas fireplace in the evenings and could walk straight out to the boardwalk or the beach on a path from the condo during the day. In either direction it's a short walk to the whale sculpture one direction and the Lewis and Clark monument the other. The bed was comfortable but a little large for the room. The management was quick to respond to a couple questions and also checked in to be sure all was well. We are already planning a return trip!
