Situated in Kaanapali, this attractive condo for $564 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to Papakea! Located on the ocean between the Kaanapali and Kapalua world-class golf resorts and minutes from shops, restaurants, and galleries. Papakea is a 13 acre oceanfront resort with the true aloha feeling of Maui. Our unit is H403, a fourth floor 3 bedroom, 3 full bathroom condo and is ready for our guests! For a memorable Maui experience in a top class condo it has granite counters, nice cabinetry, three TV's, teak furniture, the works! We are continually making little changes to keep it fresh and updated. Our fourth floor penthouse condo has a cathedral ceiling in the main living area and bedrooms with beautiful views of the gardens, pool, and ocean from the private lanai. The unit has a split zone air conditioning system (replaced with new units 6/19) and also has ceiling fans in bedrooms and loft. We offer an LCD panel desk-top computer with free wireless Internet access and wi-fi printer. Sip a cocktail on the lanai and enjoy the beautiful views of the gardens, ocean and sunsets. Parking is close to the building, and both elevator and stairs are located close-by. The living area has ample seating, as well as a 70" Smart TV, with cable, DVD player, bluetooth iHome clock/speaker and a stereo with CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, eating and cooking utensils, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and other small appliances. The unit also has its own washer and dryer. As renters ourselves for years, we have tried to think of everything possible from our experiences to make your stay comfortable. The Master Bedroom has a Tempurpedic king-size bed, a 58" Smart TV and plenty of dresser and closet space. The bathroom has a shower/tub, and separate vanity area. The second bedroom also has a king-sized bed, 55" Smart TV and plenty of closet space. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and separate vanity area. The loft area has two queen-sized beds with dressers and closets enough for everyone. The bathroom with river rock flooring walk-in shower has its entry on the loft landing for easy access. There is a double-sized pull-out sofa in the living room for extra guests. All linens including beach towels are provided. You'll also find boogie boards, pool, and beach equipment. The kitchen is stocked with basic spices, so you don't have to start from scratch. Toilet paper, paper towels, detergent etc. are part of our standard stock. There are two private pools, two Jacuzzis, direct beachfront access, cabana, three lighted tennis courts, two shuffleboard courts, two 18-hole putting greens, Koi ponds, lush gardens, and 12 outdoor barbecues. The resort also has an Activity Desk. For the sports enthusiast, the golf courses of Kapalua and Kaanapali are nearby, as well as great snorkeling and boogie-boarding. Or take your time walking the miles of soft sand beaches. NOTE: THE RESORT CHARGES $17 PER DAY FOR THEIR FACILITIES USE FEE (MAXIMUM CHARGED IS 10 DAYS.). We were exceedingly pleased with our stay. The views from the balcony are hard to beat! Our kids loved the beautiful pool, we enjoyed the hot tub, and it was just a great place to stay. There is a great souvenir shop within walking distance from the location.
The property manager was responsive and answered any questions I sent her. She was mindful of making our stay extra special and we really appreciated the care and extra support we were given. There was a hiccup on check-in, but it was my fault. I did not read the initial instructions well enough so make sure and look at those. You check into the front desk building which is to the right as you drive into the parking lot.

We absolutely loved our stay at Papakea over Christmas. Just like the reviews said, the view from the Lanai is stunning. I spent every morning and night out there. We even saw whales from the lanai. We ate many meals on the lanai. The condo fit our family great. 2 married couples, one infant and 2 young adults with mom and dad in the loft. The third bathroom is a lifesaver. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved having the washer and dryer in the condo. There were plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, and boogie boards. The resort is so beautiful. We loved the pool, hot tub, and gazebo. We grilled and ate a couple of meals out there. These were my favorite days. We also loved the pickleball courts, the back entrance to the ABC store, and the great location to the grocery store and food truck park. The only negative is that there is not a great beach area attached to the property. The beach in front of Duke's is only a 10 minute walk. Relaxing on the grass in the lounge chairs at the waters edge on the property was one of my favorite things. I loved that the property didn't feel as crowded as some that we passed on the beach. Maui is wonderful. We had the best time.

We arrived on Sunday before the 80 mph winds & the Lahaina Fire, so we were only able to reside at the condo for 2 days. The resort was relaxing, many things were easily within driving distance. The host was outstanding in discussing with us how we could possibly get our luggage back to our home in Illinois if we were unable to retrieve it before we left, discussed several alternatives. We were able to get to our luggage on Friday. The host was great handling this emergency, hopefully it won't happen again.

Loved our stay! Would definitely come back! We’re family of 8, with 6 adults and 2 kids (12 & 14). The kitchen/living room area is a bit cozy. While pictures make it look bigger than it is, it was still adequate space – we weren’t in the condo much. AMAZING ocean and sunset views from the balcony!!! Relaxing for coffee, reading, meals and cocktails! Kitchen was well stocked with spices, cooking utensil and pots/pans. Appreciated the nice touch of having bodywash in all the bathrooms. Numerous beach necessities: chairs, umbrellas, towels, everything you could need!!! Gorgeous grounds!! And the area is quite. A 5-15 minute walk south has you at a number of beaches. Really enjoyed the lounge chairs at the sea wall, wonderful to enjoy the view and have a break from sand! Condo is a short walk away from the grocery store and a number of restaurants. Christine was quick to respond and wonderful to work with! Highly recommend!!!

We all enjoyed staying at this property! It is very well managed and the condo has a lot to offer. Along with stunning views, there was an ample space for 3 families (9 total) to enjoy the time together.

The unit is nicely organized and designed. Our family of seven adults had a very comfortable stay and ample space for everyone. We appreciate all the kitchen amenities including the available spices present in the cupboard. The beds are quite comfortable. Beach toys are also available which we’ve used especially snorkeling at Honolua Bay.
We would definitely stay here again! The sunrise and sunset views in the balcony are priceless!!!

My husband and I and our 30 thirty something kids plus their spouses (so 8 people total) stayed here for a week in May-it was perfection. Christine answered every one of my questions promptly and completely-also gave helpful advice re restaurants.
The grounds are beautiful-large stocked Koi ponds, tropical landscaping, beachfront, plenty of colorful birds and a small cat colony that we had fun spotting the sunsets!!!
Amenities were also great-we enjoyed a hotly contested shuffleboard tourney, playing tennis and walking along the tidepool, reef wall at low tide. Also enjoyed the Mai Tain happy hour:)
The condo itself was wonderful-it was beyond convenient to have 6 beach chairs and plenty of beach towels provided. There were also two coolers we made use of The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of spices and seasonings. Beds were comfy and showers were luxurious.

The condo is spacious, clean, and beautiful. It has spices and beach gears for us to use. Awesome view from the lanai and the beach. Tons of activities nearby. We (3 couples) loved the weather, the location, and the accessibility to different activities nearby.

What a great place and wonderful amenities. The two pools were great and having beach towels and snorkel gear was key. Sunsets were unbelievable. I would suggest shopping at Costco when you land at airport or Safeway grocery store.

Last year, my husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and found ourselves homesick. So we booked this stay, last year, for our whole family and it was totally worth it. This was my second time renting this property. Clean, comfortable, great view, easy check in/out, front desk staff knowledgeable, property manager accessible and attentive. The track on the sliding door was slightly off and she came right away to fix it. Nice amount of space in unit. I’m already thinking of another visit.

Resort was quiet and peaceful, which we enjoyed. The lanai has a stunning view towards Molokai across the water. Enough bed space for 8 plus 2 more on sofa bed. AC units in all sleeping areas plus loads of different electric fans. Well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to supermarket, pizza place, shaved ice, live music bar. Other thoughtful touches like picnic cooler, beach toys for kids, boogie boards and extra beach towels are all there. Resort has its own activities, 2 pools, tennis court, etc. Easy check-in and check-out. 5 stars from me for the host, the unit, the resort and everything about this stay.

All the appliances are good and you have all the kitchen tools that you need. The home would need a fresh paint coat and replace some floor tiles. Thats why I gave it a 4 on 5. With a few coat it would get a 5.

Family Celebration
We were a group of 8 ranging in age from 11-75. We were in Hawaii celebrating our mom's 75th birthday, my sister's 50th birthday, and my niece's HS graduation. Our time on Maui was spectacular and this condo provided the perfect amount of space and comfort for our group. The view from the patio was beautiful and a perfect spot for our morning coffee. The pools and beach access were excellent. The host was very communicative and responded quickly to any messages. The location was perfect as well. I would definitely stay here again if I ever found myself back on Maui!
