Situated in Washington, this charming house for $467 per night is a great choice for your next break. A little more than a mile south of the town of Rockaway Beach Oregon, off the beaten path and at the end of a long private drive you will find our brand new three bedroom, two bathroom house on a half-acre of tall shore pines built “Right on 7 miles of sandy beach” Our 3 bedroom, 2 bedroom luxury house is built directly on the sand and has direct low bank beach access (across the back deck, three steps down your private stair case and your on the beach) and boast up-close 'in your face' ocean views year around. The home features; 24 foot vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, 'wall of windows' to the ocean, Marble, Granite, slate, Travertine, Ocean view Stainless island kitchen with breakfast bar, high end lighting & plumbing fixtures and all the other features that you would expect to find on a street of dreams. The home is filled with upscale furnishings, locally made solid wood furniture, top quality mattresses (all new in 2016), expensive linens, Flat Panel LCD HD, TV's in every room, Dish Network HD Sat TV 'Hopper' any room DVR, DVD & Blueray players. Guests tell us that we have the best equipped kitchen on the coast. Everything is new, clean and in perfect condition. The entire upper level is the master suite with a bedroom with a king bed, (real bedroom with door) private bath and a small loft area. The main level has an open floor plan entertaining area, 2 small bedrooms (Queen beds) with a large bathroom. Sit on the couch in front of the fireplace and enjoy the up-close 'in your face' ocean views, or carry some firewood (provided) a few Steps out the back door for a fire on the beach. 'No disappointments!'

We absolutely loved our stay here. The owner went above and beyond to make this stay possible. It was so easy to communicate when we had unexpected changes to our plans. She was easy to work with. The home is in a great location right on the beach. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Everything was clean and organized. We loved the view and would definitely come and stay here again.

We absolutely loved this property. The house is adorable and so clean and inviting. The location on the beach is absolutely perfect. Rockaway beach is less busy and very relaxing. The owner was easily available when I had a question. We appreciated how accommodating she was. We hope to stay here more in the future. There is nothing I would change about this place except maybe adding a hot tub.

This was our 2nd stay here. You can’t beat the view or the beach. The beds are comfy. There is plenty of storage for food. The stairs to the loft are quite steep. All in all had a great stay!

Very cute and comfortable tucked into the south end of Rockaway. Walked right out onto the beach to see a falcon one morning and down the beach the next day, an eagle having lunch. Very responsive host when we arrived to find the place had not been cleaned from the previous stay (just a mix-up, nbd). All was solved, no freak-outs. Our stay was quiet and lovely. Perfect place for a couple (and a dog). Great deck for sunning, well equipped kitchen. Maybe not the best choice if you are really tall or can’t do steep stairs just due to the A-frame design.

We arrived at the rental home on Rockaway Beach on June 5th and our vacation time there was wonderful. The home had everything we needed and the beach access was just unbelievable. My friends and I stayed here over a long weekend and the house was perfect. Rooms were comfortable, kitchen was all we needed and the view - Wow! Deck was great, right in the beach, with easy access. Nice quiet area. We already booked again.

We spent a fabulous 4 days at the Rockaway beach A-frame. It’s right on the beach and the beach was never crowded. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well-equipped and the host is responsive. And the location is incredible! We will be back again!!

Best view and proximity to the beach during these winter/spring storms. When the weather was fierce we could just park ourselves inside and still enjoy the views of the surf and twin rocks from Fawnda’s lovely home. What a gorgeous home with a gorgeous view of the beach! Staying steps away from the beach is amazing with young kids and a dog. Our stay could not have been better and we hope to return one day. The home is just as described; a sweet little A-frame with with lots of space to accommodate our family of five (plus our medium size dog), right on the most beautiful beach, sparkling clean, and all the amenities needed for a relaxing holiday. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Property was well maintained and relatively private. High tide brings the Pacific to your back door!! 30 second beach access! Living room and fireplace area were very comfortable and a great place to hang out in the evening. Kitchen has modern appliances and is well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, utensils. Beds were comfortable. Downstairs bedrooms rooms were small, but that is the way it goes in A frame houses. Would be great for two couples or a small family. Take the drive to Manzanita and eat at the Offshore Cafe...

This is the third time staying at Fawnda's cozy house and it won't be the last. Rain or shine, it's always so peaceful being just steps away from the ocean, watching the most beautiful sunrises, lounging on the couches while enjoying the fireplace, a nice meal, a glass or two of wine and bingeing movies. Its hands down my favorite rental. Be sure to book way in advance because she books up fast!

Nice stay, even if the weather is rough due to the full ocean immersion view. Upstairs bedroom has very steep stairs so it might be a bit challenging for older people but a super comfortable bed.

Beautiful view from the house and deck. Easy pathway to the beach. Very quiet. Cozy living room and gas fireplace. Clean and uncluttered but warm and inviting. Kitchen small but very nice range and oven. We did not use the upstairs ( the largest of bedrooms). The stairs were doable but a little steep and it was easier to stay downstairs with just 2 of us. No table lamps in downstairs bedrooms so a reading light would be good to bring along. The view is really outstanding. We would love to return to this vacation home again in the future.

This property is exactly as listed, updated, clean, and perfectly appointed in every room. I was impressed with the comfortable furniture (inside and outside), easy to use fireplace, cleanliness (especially for being pet friendly) and the incredible lighting with dimmers on every switch. The kitchen has everything you need and I could've cooked all day while looking out the large sliding doors that provide an incredible panoramic view of the ocean IF the weather wasn't so incredible luring us to the beach all day. My 11 years wants to say thank you for the awesome tv's, DirectTV, and dvd selection that made his downtime a treat for him! Fawnda is an incredible and responsive host and we hope to come back soon!

It was as advertised: peaceful, lovely, clean beaches, a great deck to watch the sunsets and easy access to get to the water. I will say that the house isn’t very accessible for anyone with physical disabilities, as the stairs leading up to the loft are more of a ladder and very steep. But this property is lovely and had everything we needed. In fact, I’m renting it again next year! Thank you, Fawnda!

This year was our fourth year staying at the property and it was wonderful as always. Clean, safe and quiet. It’s been such a perfect spot for my family to get together with our dogs and watch our children grow. We plan to continue our tradition at this property even as our family grows bigger and the space gets tighter. The location is just too special to miss!

A very nice place with an unbeatable beach location. Beach was very sparsely populated, even on weekends, during the two weeks we spent here in June. Lots of great beach walks, runs, and playing with the dog. Also spent many hours on the deck just watching the beach, birds, waves, etc. Enjoy the house also. Well appointed. Host was great to work with for a couple of queries we had. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
