This house sits in a very calm cove on the 87 mile marker on the Ozarks side perfect for tubbing little ones, riding wet bikes or just swimming or maybe a little fishing from our private covered dock. Your welcome to bring your boat, the boat launch is in Twin Beach just mins. From Grandmas Getaway. Our favorite things to do are....Enjoy our morning coffee sitting on the patio just looking out at the lake. grabbing a fishing pole catching a few fish, going for a little swim or maybe a boat ride. We also enjoy taking the paddle boat for a trip around the cove. Grandmas Getaway is approx. 8-10 mins from Walmart and many restaurants. The Yellow Deli-145 W. The house is fully furnished, Gas grill on patio gas is provided. Paddle boat available for your stay. Dates can not be confirmed until payment is received. Information on fishing guide services, lake report, boat rentals, and bike rentals is provided in the hospitality app. If you are bringing a boat please launch at Twin Beach Boat ramp. We have a place for trailers on the hill before you go down driveway to Grandmas Getaway. there will be other trailers there as well. There is no good place to turn around if you pull your trailer to the house.

We loved the location. After spending many years in the busiest area of the lake we found this place. It's on a quiet cove, calm water. Great for swimming with kids, fishing and boating. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Master bed was pretty comfortable. If you're looking for a place to get away and slow down, this is it!

Property was clean and had everything you need. The owners were very responsive. The steps to deck have different rises. So just be careful when going up and down. We were careful and had no issue. The road was a bit steep. Those items may be in listing. No issue for us in our truck. It could be a great fishing spot. We would have fished more if we were there more days as it rained while we were there. We found some nice small business restaurants that were all close and good. Overall it was a great trip and nice getaway.

Our stay at GRANDMA'S-GET-A-WAY was great. We really enjoyed fishing off the dock and around the cove. We caught plenty of catfish, carp, bass, and 1 crappie. We brought our own kayaks and SUP, plus rented 2 from the owners and spent time each day on the water. It was very quiet and peaceful. We actually didn't have any boat traffic in the cove which made kayaking and swimming really nice. The house was furnished with everything we needed and the location was great for a morning or evening walk as well. The patio is perfect for hanging at while grilling and enjoying the beautiful view. My family and I had a wonderful time and are very pleased with our vacation.

It was a very quiet and relaxing vacation. The owners were always prompt and available with any questions. They wrote out many helpful pages of things to see, etc. Our only problem was that our phone ap Maps did not come up with full address just the street and town but it lead us to the wrong town. It works on google maps or they can give you another address close by if the whole address does not come up on your phone. Very clean and accommodating. Most comfortable bed I ever slept on,

Couldn't have asked for a better place that allowed us to unplug and enjoy the quiet, peaceful and serene surroundings. Unit was clean and fully stocked for whatever your needs might be. The cottage itself doesn't have the best roads with which to access it, but worth the extra trouble. Lots of wildlife and friendly 4-legged neighbors who came often. Adjoining units are not rentals, but the natives were very friendly. Would highly recommend!

Upon arrival the charming house was clean and inviting. Beds were comfortable! Only thing that would be difficult for someone who can’t walk is the steep road to cabin.

It was very secluded and clean , property managers were at are needs if we had any, which we did not. It would be great for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy! Fishing could have been better but the water level was way down due to drought everywhere and I believe fish moved out of area to deeper water farther down river to deeper lake

Glad we booked this cabin. It was every bit as good as was described. Very nice place and super clean. We were happy to see a fully stocked kitchen. Had everything we needed. We enjoyed fishing off the dock. Caught several catfish and even a couple turtles. We plan to stay here again in the near future.

It was quiet and secluded. No through traffic of really any kind. Tons of great fishing right off the dock. The property has everything a small group needs. The snacks were a very welcome touch. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the area and the property very much.

We thoroughly our stay at "Grandma's Get-Away"! Great value for what you get. Such a peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The house was well stocked with all the cookware, utensils, linens, etc. that we needed. The wifi service was strong, which was helpful because I needed to work remotely a couple of the days we were there. Host was prompt and pleasant in all communications with us. We would definitely like to stay here again if we come back to this area.

This is a great rental! The house was very clean and had everything a needed. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The only surprise was the amount of free roaming dogs and cats. We had 4 different dogs and one cat around the house during our stay. There is no lease law in this community, so just be aware when if you take your pet with you when you let them out. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We had a great time!! our grandson enjoyed getting out on the water in the paddle boat. It was too hot for the fish to bit but we enjoyed the dock and trying.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and equipped with everything we need. The air conditioning was amazing. We fished and swam right off the dock. Caught enough fish to have a very nice dinner. The owners are amazing. Thanks for a great trip.

Extremely clean and the boat dock is fantastic! I would recommend only people very experienced with backing their boat trailers use this particular boat ramp. It could be tricky for an inexperienced person. Hosts were prompt and attentive to a few snags that were experienced— nothing that they could control. Very quiet setting.
