Wine Country Villa Guest House
About this bed and breakfast
If it's seclusion, quiet, privacy and comfort you desire, join us here on 45 acres of oak savannah. Star gazing is a favorite evening pursuit. Beautiful home with equally beautiful grounds. Hiking trails, birds singing, trees for breezes and a comfy cozy space for relaxing and sleeping. There is a labyrinth, prayer wheels and a bocce ball court - just waiting for you to use. Isolated yet an upscale neighborhood nearby.. Please note, this home does not have high speed internet. Upload and download speeds are very slow, so streaming is impossible. If you need the use of the internet for work or studies - this will not meet your needs. COVID ALERT: I maintain a clean, sanitized environment and an additional measure I have taken is to schedule home stays 24 hours apart. That means no one has rented the space in 24 hours prior to your stay. Also, there has been no one in the space except for cleaning in 12 hours before your stay. Your space in the wine country is a 400 sq. ft studio apartment above a separate garage in very rural Eugene. Some have likened it to an Italian Villa. Private staired outside entrance, 1 queen bedroom, 1 queen sofa bed, full size refrig, "box" stove & oven, 1 bathrm. There is a small woodstove for extra heat in the winter, wood provided for you. Views of the valley from private south facing deck. Bistro table for outside dining and 4 comfy chairs for relaxing. Quiet, dark star-filled skies in virtual quiet. The living space is one large room with kitchen, dining and relaxation area, also where the sofa bed is located. There is a separate bedroom where the bathroom is located. Large closet space as well. Water is from our well and is very tasty. Fresh eggs available from our organic chickens in the late Spring and Summer. Just 1.5 miles down the road are two wineries - Silvan Ridge & Sweet Cheeks. A few miles further is the acclaimed King Estates. It's about a 20 minute drive to almost anywhere in Eugene. We can arrange and recommend dining locations for you. If it's quiet you are seeking, you will find it here - a great place to unplug. You may just find yourself sleeping, relaxing, walking, reading, and never missing the outside world!

We arrived late and Bev was so very helpful. She even offered to help us carry in our stuff!
She brought up wood and had the wood burner all ready for us on our second night. We really loved it here and look forward to more stays!
Bev is definitely a Super Host!

Everything about our stay was lovely. The unit is wonderfully designed and appointed with everything you need, including, thoughtfully, yogurt, bagels, fruit, and fresh eggs to have with your morning coffee. The host was very responsive; we texted her a couple of times and got immediate responses. The location is a 22 minute drive from town (on good roads without traffic). You look out onto oak trees and moonlight. We’ll be back.

What an incredible stay at a truly beautiful, cozy, very well appointed property. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by Bev and she showed us "the ropes." you will truly lack nothing during your stay. Peaceful, quite cozy (lovely wood stove) and beautiful grounds. Hosts Bev and Mike were engaging, accommodating and provided great local suggestions for restaurants, etc. We will most certainly return to this gem hosted by our new friends. Thank you!

This property was one of the best VRBOs I have been to in Eugene. Yes, its a ways out of from the bustle but that's exactly why you book this place. My family and I loved the stay, loved the amenities, and the location was so remote and quiet. Bev and her husband were incredible hosts. We will be back.

If you're looking to unplug, unwind and recharge your soul, this property does not disappoint! From the moment we booked, Bev, Mike and JuJuBe (our host corgi) were simply wonderful. This rural property is peaceful, relaxing and comfortable, yet close enough to be a great home base for area exploration. Wine tastings, farm stands, chickens, nature hikes, stargazing and tons of wildlife all made our stay memorable. It's the exact break from our busy lives we needed.

Bev was superb. The lodgings were superb. We enjoyed the focused host experience and the out of the way (but not far away) experience for quiet and peaceful lodgings!

My wife and I loved this place! Bev and Mike are excellent hosts. She met as upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of where we would be staying. The description provided in the listing was spot on. We really enjoyed the peace and quite of being a little removed from Eugene but also having the ability to be there in a short amount of time. The property is beautiful. Everything about our stay was high quality! We look forward to being return customers.

This property is exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful, secluded, and quiet Villa experience property. The accommodations are very comfortable and the host is very attentive.

This is a great choice if you are looking for privacy and solitude. Located at the end of a long gravel road, the house is set among oak and fir trees in a forested area inhabited by deer and wild turkeys.
The house has everything you will need and you will sleep like a rock amidst the sylvan surroundings. Internet is slow and calls from your iphone will be challenging - but this snag actually becomes a feature after a day or two when you realize that you are being urged to slow down and relax.
If you are lucky, Bev and Mike will even provide you with eggs from their well-fed chickens.
Overall, a lovely and peaceful place to stay. You will look forward to returning each evening.

This was our second stay at Redfeather, and we enjoyed it just as much as our first visit! The setting is beautiful (fun to watch the chickens, turkeys and deer!), and Bev is a very thoughtful host. The apartment was furnished with everything we needed, and she even set up a wine tasting for us at Silvan Ridge. We loved our stay and hope we can visit again sometime!

Bev's property is an absolutely wonderful location to get away from things without being that far away from anything. I was greeted by the neighborhood deer when I arrived and then had a beautiful sunset that night over the hills. It is beyond peaceful but also not that far Eugene proper to get to restaurants, breweries, or events at U of O.
Inside the rental, the living room is extremely comfortable with a wood stove and a very cozy sofa with wonderful windows taking advantage of the views. The bedroom and bathroom are great too.
I cannot recommend staying here enough!

Remote and deep in the woods, escape the noise and bustle... and be only 25 minutes from UofO. Comfortable, clean, and surrounded by nature, deer, and a few chickens, Bev is the consummate host.

I had the pleasure of staying at Redfeather with two friends for a wine weekend. The home was so charming and very well kept. The owners were kind and attentive and even stocked our fridge with fresh eggs from their chicken coop! We saw so many critters during our stay and bopped to multiple wineries, all very close and beautiful. Thank you for an amazing time, we can’t wait to come back!

A perfectly peaceful location just a 25 minute drive to Eugene and 10 minute drive to local wineries. The surrounding property is beautiful and the rental had views from every window. We loved it 🙂

When my wife and I are going to be in Eugene I always try to find a place out in wine country. The villa is near several wineries but off the beaten path and very secluded. Access is down a long natural driveway surrounded by large trees shrouded in curtains of lichen. When you pass through the gate into the large courtyard, you are met by myriads of flowers and greeted by maybe a chicken or two. Entrance to the villa is up a set of stairs to a covered open-air porch. All the windows were cranked open when we arrived and we never saw a reason to completely close them even when it was raining (We are from NM and water deprived). We fell in love with the villa immediately and really wished we could have had more time to enjoy it. If you need to have television or watch video on your computer, this is not the place for you. Sit on the porch and have a glass of wine. Enjoy the wildlife. Listen closely and enjoy the sounds of silence. Listen to falling rain, the wind in the trees, the sounds only nature can make. And I worked in midtown Manhattan.

My husband and I had a lovely stay! This property is beautiful and so, so peaceful. It is located away from the hustle and bustle, so you can really enjoy the calm. Bev is a wonderful and accommodating host. She went out of her way to make our stay great and we really appreciated it!

Bev's place had everything we needed to continue our vacation: beautiful views, comfortable bedding and kitchen to cook our own food. Close to some of the older wineries in the region, and not hard to get into Eugene.

Bev was so kind and accommodating, even before we arrived. She was quick to respond to any requests yet gave us our privacy, which we appreciated. Cozy isolated place for getting away from life’s craziness. Thanks Bev!

This place was amazing! Spacious, serene, private and beautiful. We slept with the windows open every night and didn’t hear a thing. The bed was very comfortable after a day of exploring. Full size kitchen was convenient as well. Mike and Bev were wonderful host and very helpful with ideas for places to visit too. We will be back!
