Situated in the coveted hood of Multnomah Village, this is a romantic garden cottage style diamond. Here, you will feel like royalty sleeping in the carved mahogany four poster bed, embraced by an incredible mattress, and surrounded by a designer state of the art bed colors, designer prints and toss pillows. You will find a gorgeous, top notch tiled bathroom, a modern beautiful fully stocked up kitchen and many delightful surprises... The space Looking for a unique romantic gateway? you found it! This beautiful meticulously super clean garden cottage is designed to make you feel like royalty; cozy, relaxed and pampered. The bed is our crown jewel. Stunning, royal and incredible, it will make for an unforgettable experience. Attractive living room with gorgeous artwork by a local artist, modern top notch quality kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Fully tiled bathroom has an awesome towel warmer for the ultimate pampering experience. To make your experience complete, we are offering this free gift: Up to three great bikes (2 for men, 1 for women), pending availability, complete with helmets, which you can use to explore Portland, with its very friendly bike routes. note: bikes will be in storage in the winter (Nov till Apr). Guest access This garden cottage is located at a private backyard, where you can use the sitting area on the back deck, and will soon be able to enjoy a world class pond, along with luxurious hanging lounger chairs. When you make your reservation we will give you the code to the door keypad. You can independently check-in any time you want! You will also love to know that your mattress is made responsibly, eliminating any damage to the environment. It is using CertiPUR-US Certified Polyurethane Foams. Despite booking and paying for our stay in full 3 months prior to our reserved dates AND receiving a welcome email with the key lock passcode on the morning of our arrival, my family and I arrived at 5 pm on a Sunday to find the property was double-booked, with other guests’ belongings inside the home! I called the owner’s number & the voicemail said he was out of town & to call his co-host for any problems, which I did. She said she was sorry for the mixup and that the current guests had asked for an extended stay! Really!! I was very upset and angry that this happened. We then had to find other lodging for the next 2 nights at the last minute. I asked for a full refund ASAP & she said she would let the owner know. I had to send messages & make phone calls over the next 5 days & did not receive a full refund until 8 days later! That should have been taken care of immediately! I would not recommend renting property from Elie Bulka at all!!!

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It was private, peaceful, and quiet with plenty of street parking. The place was spacious and clean.
The only issues we had were with the Wi-Fi and the bikes. The Wi-Fi router is old and could use replacement as it uses an outdated security protocol. We had trouble connecting to it because our phones did not like the weak security, but the tv was able to stream Netflix just fine. The bikes seemed to be in good condition, but we didn’t take them out because we didn’t know the code for the bike locks and didn’t want to leave them unlocked outside the backyard.
Overall, we enjoyed the place and the peaceful backyard area and had a great time in Portland!

The listing is as how is described on the site, also the location was a safe quiet area. The comfort of this home was so comforting, I slept once I got there until the next morning and I am not even exaggerating that is how comfortable my stay was. Elie was able to make sure he was available whenever I needed something so I appreciated that. I would def come back with my fiance because the setting was so comforting I didn't even get to enjoy the garden because I fell asleep the whole day. If your looking for comfort in the place and location beside all the other benefits the place offers this is the spot.

Very nice neighborhood with nice amenities like complimentary large bottle of water, chocolates, tea, and coffee. The towels felt brand new and bed was comfortable with nice decor. The only disappointment was the pond/fountain feature was not working but the host/owner was very friendly and we even had their cat and dog greet us and show us to our room! Would definitely stay there again.

The cottage was exactly as described in the listing. The bed was beautiful and so comfortable. The location was perfect. Walking to Multnomah Village was a real treat with many restaurants and places to get drinks, also a great Center for the Arts. And to top it off we had the nicest conversations with the owner, Elie.

Quiet gem in Multnomah
Elie, our host, was very present and was there to aid in any problems. We had none! The space was spotless, had all we needed and the bed was super comfortable. The backyard was lovely and relaxing and the A/C worked great. It was over 100 deg. when we arrived.! We enjoyed interacting with the dog and cat as we missed our own, but they were well trained and did not enter the unit.
Excellent neighborhood and we would recommend highly!

When my conference in Portland was switched to a virtual event, I decided to keep my trip and found this lovely garden cottage where I attended the conference virtually. The internet was stellar- I never had even the slightest glitch.
The cottage is welcoming, quiet, very well decorated with all the amenities of a home away from home. The neighborhood is wonderful and close to shops and stores, Access to the freeway was easy. The host was friendly and accommodating. Kitchen is well appointed and the table was set up with wine glasses and some delicious chocolate.
I highly recommend this property for single travelers as well as for a couple wanting a romantic get-away.
