Why is our home “THE BEST PLACE TO BE ” to enjoy your Door County Vacation? - Extra Large Home: 4000 sq. ft. with 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths Location, Location, Location: Secluded - Last home on a dead end road. Lake Michigan side of Door County (our Location) is referred to as the quiet side. 2 of the “ 7 Spectacular Scenic Wonders ” of Door County are so… close. This is from the Travel Wisconsin website. Travel Wisconsin.com is the official website of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, the official destination organization for the State of Wisconsin. 1) Whitefish Bay Dunes State Park (Enter right outside our front door). 2) Cave Point County Park (Walking distance from our home) Cleaning: We have a dedicated, 2 person cleaning team that only cleans our home and no others! Our Cleaning Team: Completes a thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the home after every guest stay. Completes a second sanitizing and cleaning/inspection of the entire home after the initial cleaning and sanitizing has been done. Uses a detailed check list for every cleaning. Check List available upon request. New, Supersize washer and dryer - ALL linens and laundry are done onsite. We supply every guest stay with new, unopened: Soap dispensers, Paper towels and bath tissues. 5 BEDROOMS and 4 FULL BATHS with beds to sleeps up to 12 guests. Our 4000 square foot home was built in 2004. It is beautifully equipped to accommodate up to 12 people! Our home borders the Famous Whitefish Dunes State Park with private Sand Beach. It is NOT directly on the water but our private sand beach is just a 2 minute walk (or 194 feet) from our front door. Located in an exclusive, secluded area, bordering Whitefish Dunes State Park (1000 acre park), yet only 15-20 minutes from the quaint village shops. Hike and bike out your front door! HUGE Game room offers: - 7ft (full size) pool table. - Full-size Ping pong table. - Full-size air hockey. - Electronic dart board - Full size (9' long) shuffle board table - card table, chairs and sofa. LARGE GREAT ROOM offers: cozy fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating with 2 FULL size leather sofas, reclining chair, 55 flat panel TV (new 2020) with cable, DVD player and stereo with WI-FI. KITCHEN: Huge Gourmet Kitchen offers: microwave, NEW glass cook top oven, TWO Full size refrigerators (extra refrigerator in kitchen area) dishwasher, 2 coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, Blender and tons of cabinets and counter space, snack bar that seats 4, dining table for 11 plus high chair. LAUNDRY ROOM: NEW Washer, NEW Dryer and Sink Two portable cribs! OVERSIZED MASTER BEDROOM with king bed, TV (65" flat screen-new 2019), DVD. Extra large Balcony (6 ft x 17 ft). Huge Master Bath: Gigantic, two person whirlpool (six by five foot). HUGE SHOWER (8ft x 5ft) with massaging jets and shower heads on two opposite sides with a rain shower overhead!! - BEDROOM #2 (second floor) one queen bed. - BEDROOM #3 (second floor) one queen bed and three twin beds (Twin beds are: one bunk bed and a roll away bed that be placed in any room) - BEDROOM #4 (main floor) one queen bed. - BEDROOM #5 (lower floor) four twin beds which are two bunk beds. Additional: LINEN SERVICE: $350 - $475, Depending on the number of guest (2 -12 guest range) and number of beds needed. We have of pillows, blankets and comforters. You can bring your own sheets, towels etc…or we offer a “Linen Service". The linen service included sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes for all guests. We also include bath mats and dish towels. If you choose the linen service we will send you a payment request for this service. CLEANING: There is a minimum home cleaning fee, which usually covers the cleaning. This charge has already been added to your rental. If additional cleaning is needed, @$35.00 an hour, will be taken out of your damage deposit. To avoid additional cleaning charges please leave the home in good condition so our cleaning team can finish in the allotted amount of time.

The location was excellent, very close to state and County Parks, and just a short walk to the beach. It rained our first night, but we had so much fun in the game room that it didn't matter. Overall great experience.

The private beach and location at the foot of the Whitefish Dunes park is unbeatable. The house was big enough for our group of 11. We’ve stayed here a couple times now. The house is not maintained very well. Among some other items of disrepair basement bedrooms have no window coverings so is excessively bright in the morning. $400 linen fee and you only get 2 dish towels and 4 hand towels (which were for communal use in the bathrooms) for 11 people. Location/beach is what brought us back, not the condition of the home. New property manager is super responsive. Last year the owner actually double booked the place and didn’t change the lock code so another family was in the property when we arrived last year. We booked through VRBO and they booked direct so he honored our reservation. That was a mess. Glad it’s in the property manager’s hands now.

Ten of us stayed here for a week — 2 grandparents, 4 parents and 4 kids ranging in age from 9-13. The house worked really well for us! The game room was a hit with the kids and adults. The kitchen is large and probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in the 14 years since we’ve been renting houses. There was plenty of room for several of us to be working in the kitchen at the same time. The beds were all comfortable and the three zone AC worked perfectly. We absolutely loved the beach. It was a very short walk from the house. I (71 y/o) managed it without a problem. There was only one spot that was a little tricky but I was able to negotiate it with the help of a couple well-placed trees. Someone else might need an arm to hold on to. Cave Point park was amazing and beautiful and some in our family enjoyed the 2-mile walk from the house to the park that winds through the woods and along the lake.

The house is very spacious for a family with grown children and toddlers. It was ideal for our family. We enjoyed the game room as well as the quiet beach. The kitchen was large enough to prepare meals for the group. It was listed; therefore not a surprise to us, but I’ve never rented a VRBO with such limited linens. Yes, we could have purchased the service but it was at an excessive price. While the house was perfectly laid out, there was a shift in the foundation that was extreme. The property manager was excellent with communication and accommodated our needs.

This property is amazing! Great neighborhood, great location to the beach, which is literally across the street, and great access to the neighboring state park. Very quiet, peaceful area. The majority of the traffic is people walking their dogs. We had a great time while at the property. It had everything we needed for cooking meals. The basement/game room was an added bonus. My girls loved it! This was also a great location to go exploring the rest of Door County. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Communication with the property manager was great. Hope to come back some day!

Lovely, spacious home. Bordering on the State Park. Private Beach. Plenty of room to spread out inside and on the big deck. Our family group included 10 adults, 18 to 72, and 4 children between the ages of 3 and 8. We all enjoyed cooking together in the big kitchen and playing games in the recreation room downstairs. One thing to remember is that if you need groceries your best bet is to go to Sturgeon Bay. We loved our week here!

This property has too many great features to list them all. As a three generation family, ages 4 to 72, we found the large game room a big plus. Having access to a beautiful private beach was another. The home is very roomy, which suits a large family (or two?) very well. Just being in Door County is a big plus in itself. So many fun places to visit. Finally, the owner/host is very attentive to your needs

Family Fun
Our family of 11, including 5 grandsons aged 13 to 18, spent a terrific week at the beach. The house is clean, large, plenty of room for all. Master bath shower was a highlight. Downstairs bedrooms and game room were perfect for our teens. The house is simply decorated and sufficient household items are supplied.
A couple of things must be noted. The house is built up on a dune. There is no yard for games, etc. There are lots of stairs so carrying in luggage and supplies on a hot day might warrant a cool drink when done! The most challenging thing is getting down to the beautiful beach. The very rustic path through a wooded area and down the dune is daunting to all adults. There are no stairs, only a well trodden path and a couple of steep steps thanks to Mother Nature via tree trunks and roots. Little ones and older folks will need help. Once at the beach it is truly beautiful and worth the effort to get there.
The best thing....a nice house by the beach, big enough for our family to be together and make memories for a lifetime!

Great Family Getaway Spot
This newer, exceptionally clean home offers everything you'd want for a family getaway! There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the entire group (note, there are 6 (!) bedrooms, including 2 in the lower level that contain 2 twin beds each and a queen bedroom in the upper level that also holds a bunkbed). The kitchen, dining table/area, and living space are open to each other and made for a great meal prep and comfortable visiting area. The game room in the lower level (air hockey, ping pong, pool, and more!) kept everyone engaged. The home's location was secluded and since it is right against the back side of Whitefish Dunes State Park, it provided easy access to the park's main hiking trail. The owner was personable and offered lots of great advice about places to go and things to see and do in Door County.

The game room was so much fun for the kids and adults too. The beach was incredible, the water was so clear you could see your feet even in the deepest water. I also loved how secluded it was. We enjoyed jumping on the trail and walking with the kids. Thank you again for many memories, we talked about it all the way home!

Our family totally enjoyed our stay at this property. The living area is spacious, and we never felt we were tripping over one another. The large kitchen was roomy enough for our multiple cooks working together. We prepared all meals in, and the two refrigerators are great for a large group. Our pre-teens loved spending time in the game room. And best of all was the easy walk and convenience to the beach. Having stayed in Door County previously on the west side of the Peninsula, we totally appreciated this less busy and quiet side. Hope to stay again in the future.

Cleanest and best equipped property we’ve ever stayed in. Great beach. Getting to it is a little tricky but because of the path’s location in proximity to the park, I imagine the owner does not want to encourage the general public to use his beach. Nevertheless I think the access to the beach could be improved. The beach itself is stunning. The house has a lot of stairs, but we didn’t find them prohibitive. Recommend highly.

Had a wonderful time with our family! Just wanted to provide an FYI to future renters and this is no disrespect to the owners because everyone does it differently. We rent a lot of VRBO homes!! This house had adequate kitchen supplies.. No 9x13 pans, no olive oil, no salt or pepper or spices . Bathroom - 2 boxes of kleenex's supplied for 9 people, ran out of toilet paper in some bathrooms (we always bring more), no shampoo, conditioner or soap or shower gel. There was hand soap. We found 1 blow dryer in the house. No firewood. Plenty of chairs for around the firepit which is surrounded by sand. If you choose linen service you get 1 towel, 1 hand towel & 1 wash cloth per person and a sponge and two hand towels in the kitchen. We are clean freaks so we washed towels every day. Unsure what happened to the TV downstairs but that was disappointing. No board games for those of you who like those. Again no disrepect to the owners but I like to know what is going to be there and what isn't so just trying to help future renters. Big house so lots of room to spread out. Lots of steps so if you have someone who does not like steps or who cannot ascend or descend steps well, this is not the house for you. House was clean except for ceiling fans and exhaust fans.. they need cleaning bad. Not trying to focus on the negative but just being honest. We had a great time in the game room and this is the reason we chose the house. It rained most of Saturday so between the board games we brought and the games downstairs we were all entertained and shared lots of laughs!!
