Nestled in Shenandoah Valley, this attractive bed and breakfast for $200 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Perched on a hilltop overlooking mountains, a river and cattle , POP’S COTTAGE is a fully appointed, pet friendly , one bedroom guest cottage offering a location second to none in the heart of central Virginia s wine, brewery, bourbon and cider country. Pop s Cottage is 10 miles from UVA & within 3 miles from Pippin Hill Vineyard. Wine Enthusiast named Virginia as one of the "Top 10 Best Wine Travel Destinations" in the world, so make your reservation at Pop s Cottage today! Please note that no visitors and only registered guests are allowed to use this space day and night. The person who reserves the property must be the person checking in and will be responsible for all other guests in the group. Please note that there are 3 outdoor steps without a handrail leading to the entrance. For this reason we do not believe it would be suitable for anyone with mobility limitations. However I can provide a ramp. There are 2 EXTRA LONG twin beds set up as KING with a 3" memory foam topper. I do have a floor mattress and crib if you’re traveling with a child. The cottage is 480 sq. ft. There is a $60 cleaning fee. If traveling with a canine companion there is a $60 trip fee for your FRIENDLY and WELL SOCIALIZED fur baby. My pups live freely on our property so…No aggressive breeds allowed. Pups with leash aggression not allowed. REMEMBER TO RESERVE A SPOT FOR YOUR CANINE COMPANION WHEN BOOKING. If you are traveling with more than one dog I am happy to discuss the options. Crates welcome. There is a Fenced in 1/3 acre field which also houses our chicken coop and a non fenced yard directly in front of Pop’s Cottage has been used for visiting dogs. Just clean up after your pet. Please clean up paws before your pet enters the cottage and be mindful of the condition of the Cottage upon your arrival. Book your stay today! TWO DAY MINIMUM IF BOOKING ON A FRIDAY OR SATURDAY

We brought our dog with us to enjoy a weekend in Charlottesville. The cottage was just as described. Check in process was smooth. Ninfa provided much appreciated extras...(dog bowls, dog towels, coffee bar etc) very inviting and relaxing cottage (comfortable bed too). The fenced in yard was great for our pup (she was enamored w the chicken coop). We can't wait to go back!

Accommodations were great for me, my husband and our dog. We had everything we needed. Clean, cozy and comfortable. Great communication with the host. Great location to Charlottesville and wineries. We wanted to stay outside of town for peace and privacy yet close enough to get places quickly.

Nice modern cottage. The bathroom is lovely with excellent rain shower. The location is out of town in a peaceful area with wonderful views. Both sunrise and sunset were breathtaking! Location has easy access to route 29, so it was a quick car ride into downtown Charlottesville. We would definitely stay here again. Our host was very responsive.

We really enjoyed our private and quiet cottage! It was a great location not far from UVA. It was wonderful to have our own quiet space that you can’t get at a hotel. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful, the bed and shower were amazing, and so nice to have a kitchen. Ninfa has created a wonderful place to enjoy all that Cville has to offer!

Stayed for the weekend with my wife and dog. We had a great time and loved the property. Perfect for a weekend trip and close to all the wineries, breweries, Shenandoah National park, and UVA campus/Charlottesville. Will definitely stay again next time we're in the area!

Great use of space. Perfect for 2 people. New bathroom with great shower and the bed was so comfortable I asked the owner what type of bed it was. Keurig with Kcups supplied. Great mountain view also. Will be back.

We wanted to visit Charlottesville and the surrounding historical area. This location was ideal for historical areas and too many winery's to choose from. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host thought of all the little details to may our stay comfortable. Highly recommend if you are traveling in this area. We were in this area for 5 days and stayed busy every day. This was also one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on. Great place to return to after a long adventurous day. Our Host was easy to reach and wonderful to work with.

The cottage was perfectly located for the wedding we were attending at Pippen Hill. Just as described; my favorite part was the amazing view. I enjoyed morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs taking in the mist lifting to clouds clearing to blue skies over the mountains. The only slight issue was the great outside lights are super bright for sleeping. Good for getting from your car to the door, but they shine brightly through the top window and attract a lot of bugs. Maybe they could be turned off, but we never actually asked. Very easy to get into Charlottesville and Potter’s Craft Cidery was fun Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

Pop’s Cottage is an adorable cottage with gorgeous Mountain View’s. It is close to Charlottesville (15 minutes) and a great location to get to cider and wineries. Ninfa and Gary are great hosts and had helpful suggestions. Pepe and Lola (dogs) are adorable and friendly.

We had a blast with our dogs at this cottage! Close to the wineries and easy access. Very communicative host as well which made our stay that much better. If you are bringing dogs just beware of the chicken coop within the fenced in area!

The property owners were exceptionally nice and welcoming. They had great suggestions for restaurants and local attractions to explore. The mountain views from their yard are difficult to beat. This is certainly a place we plan to visit again.

Lovely weekend at Pop's Cottage, just outside of Charlottesville. Abode was perfect for our getaway weekend & a great location to access the wineries, parks, local stores and cideries on our agenda. We saw chickens, cows, horses, and even a zebra around town. Wonderful hosts and property - hope to get back again with Teddy when the weather warms and we can explore more!!

We came here for our mini-moon - and the house was perfect! Peaceful setting and views. The house is just as pictured - and had everything we needed and was sparkling clean. The location was convenient to wineries and downtown C’ville. We’ll be back!

Pop’s cottage is an absolute hidden treasure. Between the charm and location (most everything took 15-20 min), this place is spectacular! The place was clean, checkin-in process flawless, and the owner contacted us immediately to make sure we had everything we needed! You should never pass this place up! We will be back for sure.

Ninfa's property was perfect. Very nice one bedroom place with a large living room/kitchen, bedroom with a king, and a huge bathroom with heated floors and excellent shower. Ninfa provides all the essentials and was very communicative. The outdoor space is very cute and provides a beautiful vista. Also, her place is only 12 ish minutes from Charlottesville. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Pop's Cottage is a cute, cozy cottage with beautiful views. The cottage was clean, bed was comfy, and amenities were great. You get the country feel but are close to Charlottesville and all its amenities. We enjoyed traveling with our dog. If you are a light sleeper like me, I would recommend bringing ear plugs or a noise machine to drown out the early morning chicken/rooster noises.
