About this cottage rental

This custom-built Tiny House is a unique way to explore the city and stay in a memorable place. Located at the gateway to the Alberta Arts District, lots of restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and more! There is a queen sized bed loft, pull out bench bed, seating area, apartment style fridge, and bathroom equipped with an instant hot water heater. Being that it's a tiny house on wheels, it's just like an RV. If you are expecting that type of stay, you will be very happy! If you are expecting a lux hotel, maybe not : ) The tiny home is located next to MLK Blvd and Alberta streets which are busy streets by Portland standards. While this does afford easy public transportation and awesome access to Alberta Arts District, it's a busy street and with that comes random people, noise, etc. Just want to be up front that this house is not on a sleepy neighborhood street -- this will be a city feel outside, but cozy and comfortable inside. **Pets: Dogs only. No dogs under 1 year. Dogs must be approved by us before booking. There is a non-refundable pet fee per stay. For extended stays, we also require a $600 refundable pet deposit, assuming no damage or excessive cleaning** Thank you!

The tiny house we stayed in in Portland was exactly as described and we were lucky to find it available over Thanksgiving weekend. We have learned however, that climbing a ladder to a loft bed did not suit my 71 year-old husband. The location was convenient to places we wanted to visit in Portland, however it was 1 house away from the MLK which is a fairly busy street that took some 'getting used to' for those of us who live in rural northern Alberta, Canada.
