Beautiful ocean views from the oversized balcony of this updated 3 bedroom 2 bathroom corner unit! You will feel right at home with granite countertops in its large open kitchen, flat screen TVs, full sized washer and dryer, spacious living room and a private balcony giving plenty of room for you and your guests to enjoy your Myrtle Beach vacation. Master bedroom has a king bed with a full bath, the second bedroom offers two queens, third bedroom with two twins and the living room has a sleeper sofa. The Carolina Dunes is located in the prestigious Golden Mile section of Myrtle Beach, known for being centrally located to all the Myrtle Beach attractions, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and within walking distance of two restaurants, a bar and Starbucks! The Carolina Dunes also offers a Large outdoor pool and sunning deck with tables, umbrellas and chairs kiddie pool, courtyard, private walkway to the beach, outdoor showers, lobby, luggage carts, free wifi and onsite parking. - Luxury Linen package included! -4 beach chairs provided for our guests use. -This is a non smoking unit. Condo needs a deep clean. Balcony and baseboards and other places were really dirty. Toilets were hard to flush. Furniture was very old. Air circulation was not good. The front bedroom was very cold, but as you go down the hall, the rooms are warmer. Especially the master. Floors, counters and beds were clean and we enjoyed ourselves. It was affordable and we had no issues. Great view of the ocean and easy to get to the beach.

This is 100% honest. This is not a 5 star place. The furniture is way past due for replacement. The curtains in both the livingroom and master bedroom are outdated, dirty and falling down. The toilets do not have enough pressure to flush good. All of the pillows are flat and dirty when you take off the cases. Tney need replaced and need protectors on them. The pictures they have posted are not up to date. The location is good, right on the beach. I would not recommend and would not have paid what we did for the week if information was accurate.

The condo was exactly as pictured and was clean upon check-in. The views from the balcony were wonderful. The access to the location was easy to find. The two major downsides were the lack of flushing power on both toilets, and the lack of cushioning/padding with the living room furniture. It was very uncomfortable. You had to flush the toilets multiple times for them to empty.

Everything was nice in this unit except for the water pressure in both toilets. It took many flushes just to flush down a little paper. I called and reported it and someone came by but it never solved the problem. The primary toilet was the worst. Other than that, the place is very nice

This property is in a great location and has a nice pool to keep you cool. The air conditioning works great as well as all of the appliances in the unit. Check in and reentry to the unit is super convenient with the keypad lock. The carpet in the unit needs replaced. It is stained and uncomfortable to walk on. The couch and loveseat including the throw pillows is beyond worn out and need replaced. I would definitely rent this unit again if the carpet and couches get replaced. Also, the plumbing seems like it is one flush away from becoming a problem and the toilets were leaking onto the floor. Overall, it was a nice stay for a family and would be fantastic with just a few minor improvements!

Overall it was a great week. Loved the location, 1st time in 18 years visiting Myrtle Beach. Far enough from the busiest areas, but close enough to visit. Easy access to the beach. Living room furniture needs updated, toilet in mater bath needs better water pressure :)

Great location. Condo larger than anticipated. Only down side consistency of air flow throughout unit- some rooms too cold, some not cold enough. Everything else amazing the kids probably would have liked to have a lazy river.

Easy access, parking good, lots of luggage carts, plenty of good elevators, indoor lazy river awesome,beach access great! Fabulous views from our condo. Kitchen well equipped.
Only thing is if a place sleeps 8 or needs to have seating for 8 at the table and in the living room.

The building was in a great location and the unit itself was great. It’s worth noting that the beach chairs and umbrellas that are set up every morning on the beach are not for the enjoyment of Carolina Dunes guests, but rather open to everyone for $45/ day. There were no beach chairs in the condo as was indicated in the description. So I bought 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas and left them there to pay it forward. The mattresses and pillows are showing their age. Oh, and all the other guests smoked on their balconies which make it impossible to enjoy ours.

Exactly as pictured and described. Great pool and beach area, although very busy (we’ll chalk that up to it being the week of 7/4). Had a great time and we would stay again!

Large, open floor plan with great views and easy access to the beach. Kitchen was large and extremely well stocked allowing us to easily do all of our own cooking. Furniture was in nice condition and beds were comfortable. We would definitely return to this condo again.

All around great place
Large, open floor plan with great views and easy access to the beach. Kitchen was large and extremely well stocked allowing us to easily do all of our own cooking. Furniture was in nice condition and beds were comfortable. We would definitely return to this condo again.

Love the location and layout of the Carolina Dunes. We've stayed there well over a dozen times in our 30+ years of vacations to Myrtle Beach. This unit was newly updated (first time we stayed in this particular unit), but had fascinating shortfalls in the number of pillows for the beds and no hangers in the closets. Other than that, met every expectation. Luxury Beach Rentals continued to be a pleasure to deal with and book our vacation stay.

Clean and pleasant. Love the sound of the waves. Quick response from maintenance when necessary (very minor). A wonderful experience. My only complaint was that the swimming pool was not heated, and it looks like they were attempting to remedy that while we were there.

The only negative comment about condition would be that the patio door needs to be replaced as it was stiff. We could hear many of the other condo's doors being changed during our stay which must be in the same condition. On a plus side I would like to say that the management staff (Luxury rentals) were excellent. over a 9 week stay, we had a few minor issues and also problems with the heating (February). They always responded immediately and sent a handyman around within hours. They also followed up personally to make sure everything was OK. Excellent service.

I am very dissatisfied with my recent stay at Carolina Dunes Unit 306 in Myrtle Beach, SC. When we arrived on the 24th, it was discovered that neither bathroom was working properly. I called the number and it was almost three hours before someone came to look at the problem. When the gentleman arrived he was not practicing CDC guidelines by not wearing a mask which was very disturbing to my family and I.I turned the heat on due to the temperatures falling and had to turn it back off due to an odor that was coming out of the vents that almost smelled like something was burning. When I called the emergency number I was told that it was just coming from the heat just being turned on, the lady indicated that she thought they had turned them on to get rid of the smell prior to us arriving, but she guess they did not get to our unit. On Christmas Day, the bathroom in the hall stopped working again and the sliding door to the balcony was hard to open and close. I called for assistance and again it was a long time prior to someone coming. In 2019, my family stayed in this same unit and there were no problems at all. This time it was very disappointing. The only positive thing was my family enjoyed being together during the holidays. I will not rent this unit again.

The building itself was a ***** sketchy, and inside the small lobby, elevator and floor walking to our room smelled. The room itself on first inspection looked like the pictures, but when you started peeling back the layers, that's when luxury went out the window.
The sliding door out to the balcony – it wouldn’t slide open and it took two of us. It looked pretty janky and mangled. We decided to just keep it shut, and go through the master bedroom to the balcony when we wanted to be outside (annoying).
The master bedroom bed was HORRIBLE. I felt like I was sleeping on a toddler training bed, since the mattress cover was plastic. As for the “Luxury Linen Package” – If that means, 100 thread count flat and fitted sheet with a quilt as the decorative cover/blanket, than we got the “luxury package”. It was terrible & scratchy and we did not sleep comfortably all week. If you have a bad back, this bed will make it worse. If you don't have a bad back - you will.

Wonderful unit.
We enjoyed our stay at Carolina Dunes, the unit was beautiful, clean and well stocked. Location is close to everything. We stayed over a holiday, my only complaint is with people below us, they were very loud until 2-3 in the morning. Could not sleep in master bedroom or enjoy the balcony they were so loud. Unit below the loud gathering of families tried to drown the loud family out by blaring music on thanksgiving day.
