This was a perfect place for a calm little retreat. I ended up by myself (instead of with my partner) and never saw another person. My only real issue is that the sliding door has NO way to lock it. I saw this in another review, I hope they address it soon. Otherwise, it was lovely.

Property is clean and quiet. Plenty of floats to use for lounging in lake. Nice beach with fire pit. Kayaks are also available for use.

A relaxing visit on the lake to relax and recharge. Property and property mangers amazing and make you feel tight at home. I loved the lights at night and the beautiful sunset from the lake shore! Must do again!

Spent every minute either on the water or by the water. Ate breaksfast every morning down on the dock. Took the kayaks out exploring the nearby coves followed by boating all over the lake and dinner at several lakefront restaurants. Truly beautiful and tranquil! The lower level accommodations were more then adequate. Had fun playing pool and pinball in the evenings. Wish we would have stayed longer to enjoy the beach.

The whole process is excellent. Home owners make you feel welcomed from arrival until departure. House is clean, accomodations are perfect for water activities, lounging and relaxing. Location is perfect for local adventures and dining.

My son and I enjoyed some quality time together relaxing in this beautiful spot.

My girlfriend and I have stayed here 3 times in the last 4 years. It is so relaxing here with a wonderful view. We spent almost the whole vacation just sitting on the dock.

Great property with awesome lakefront views

Excellent property and stay! Very clean and beautiful views! Relaxing atmosphere! Property owners were great and had great communication.

If you are planning to stay with Bill and Deb for more than a day or two, we stayed for a week. I would suggest a few things to bring. We brought a tabletop propane BBQ grill and a hot plate for cooking, skillet's as well as bringing a large cooler for drinks and so forth. We also brought tongs and cooking utensils as well as 2 sets of real knives, fork and spoon so as to not use plastic that was provided. The description of items provided is accurate, if it is not listed it is most likely not there. The fridge is small and does not have a lot of storage space for a week's stay. Mooresville is close by for any shopping needs, meals or a movie. We brought a 18' jet boat with us and the dock area like the rest of the property was well maintained. We had one day of bad weather the rest of the time we were out on the lake with the jet boat. The one issue that we had and the reason we did not give a 5-star rating for my wife, and I was a big one. The door to the "apartment", the lock was non-functional. We could not secure it when we would leave. We came back home after seeing a movie, it was after dark, we observed a dark-haired man enter the grounds and disappeared near our entrance door. It was not Bill. After making sure there was no-one in our quarters, we later come to find out that there was another person living next to us. This would have not been an issue had we been able to secure our quarters when we left the property and had been made aware of the other "guest". I am sure that Bill will address the lock issue ASAP solving that problem. My wife and I did enjoy our stay at Bill and Deb's and would return in the future.

Enjoyed our quick stay. Could have used an extra day. Place was comfortable, quiet and as stated. Loved being able to play pool each evening. Felt a little disoriented being we planned it at the last minute. I needed tourist brochures which I could not find, not even in a restaurant. Reached out for owner with number on the instruction sheet in apartment with non urgent questions…. Number must be wrong or changed.

We really loved our time spent here! Very comfortable & clean! We took full advantage of the 2 kayaks, and really enjoyed sitting on their dock with a perfect lake view!

Perfect quiet spot for a quick getaway! We had everything we needed. The neighbors were great and the property itself was very nice. Beautiful lake view!

Wonderful accommodations in beautiful setting. Conveniently located near great state park and preserves as well as one of our favorite breweries. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Everything was as advertised. I look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful property, William and Deb were very gracious and hospitable. Great spot on Lake Norman to relax and watch the boats go by. Stayed in the beginning of April, so It was a bit chilly in the evenings. They have a fire pit on their beach to use, unfortunately we didn't (don't know why?) Definitely would recommend.
