About this condo rental
This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, ski-in, ski-out condo is the ultimate Mammoth vacation rental experience. A beautiful 5-star condo decorated with great local photography, also has a large and comfortable sectional sofa, large flat screen TV, cozy gas fireplace, and dining area with seating for up to 6. The well appointed master bedroom has a King bed and TV, private master bathroom and plenty of storage space. The second bedroom also comes with a King bed and TV and separate bathroom. Both spacious bathrooms and the full Kitchen feature granite counter tops and tile floors. The full Kitchen has all the appliances and amenities for a home cooked meal. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. There are no stairs to this Mammoth vacation rental condo, no stairs inside and it sleeps a maximum of 6 people. Sunstone Lodge at Juniper Springs Resort is Mammoth's true ski-in, ski-out destination lodge, featuring underground heated parking, a fitness center, laundry, both an outdoor jacuzzi and year-round heated pool and the convenience of ski-in, ski-out luxury. Guest lockers are located right next to the slopes. It doesn't get any better than this. This condo sleeps a maximum of 6 people and comes with underground, heated garage parking for one vehicle (garage clearance is 8' 2"). Guests will be provided one parking pass. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. This unit is non-smoking and no pets are permitted. Our calendar is updated in real time. Everything was as advertised. The unit was well appointed and supplied. We particularly like the easy access with elevator and cart to carry our luggage. The location was perfect for our activities, fishing and a visit to Devil's Postpile.

The condo has a nice, central location within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and hiking. It's also right next to the ski lift for winter activities. However, we had some noisy neighbors and our sleep was a bit disrupted on two of the nights.

Everything about this location was excellent. The location (we literally snowboarded from Eagle to the entrance of the pool, unreal), the appointments, the easy check-in/out, the heated pool and hot tub. Everything.

While the location is great (Eagle Lodge), the room itself was below par. No cutting board in the kitchen, scraped up teflon pans that should have been trashed 20 years ago. Flea market silverware, plates and glasses. Filthy stained carpet. Broken lamps. Fireplace? Rather gas heater with 2 in blue flames in shape of fireplace. Beds were 10 years past replacement. Linens (check the blood stains on the pillow...) Pool and hot tub were great. Just don't expect a luxury or even nice condo.

We loved the place. The location was perfect. We could all ski out easily and my sons were able to enjoy the hot tub after. The place is excellent location, clean, easy to locate, underground parking. We enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable and Clean
I loved this condo. The check in process was quick and simple. All of our check in documentation was ready for us with contactless pick up at the Mammoth reservations office. The condo was clean and comfortable with plenty of electrical outlets to charge devices. The kitchen was fully stocked and convenient to use. There wasn’t much of a view from the room (although we did see a deer outside the room), but there is an amazing view from the hearth room. The hearth room was surprisingly comfortable. My wife spent a couple of nights lounging in the hearth room while my nieces used the hot tub outside. The complimentary access to the nearby gym was great. The gym was surprisingly well equipped. No A/C (we stayed in the summer) but leaving the windows open was enough to keep us comfortable. The room is handicapped accessible which was good for us because my mother-in-law stayed with us and she has mobility issues. The only knock with the room is the lock to the patio was kind of confusing to use. I was never too sure if I successfully engaged the lock correctly.
I would definitely love to stay here in the future!

Great location, very clean, nice being on first floor. One suggestion: please supply more dishes. We had to wash them after every meal because there were not enough for 2 meals. Also, thermostat was vague and hard to regulate temp.

Sunstone is a great place to stay because it’s ski in ski out ie there’s no walking uphill. Being on the first floor was a plus for us because you do not need to take the elevator to get to the ski lockers, ski slopes, pool and Jacuzzi. When it comes to staying at Sunstone or Juniper Springs Lodge all the places are basically the same except for two distinguishing features: What kind of couch do they have and what kind of TV do they have. This unit has a large L-shaped comfortable couch with lots of blankets and pillows. The TV in the main area swivels so you can watch it while eating at the table or on the couch. It has Netflix Amazon and other stuff for free. For some people that may be irrelevant but part of my family doesn’t like to ski so they just watch movies all day. The TV in the Master Bedroom does not work but this place is about 200 bucks less than other comparable Units. For us it didn’t really matter. Kitchen has the usual items (Oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, plates and silverware) although the pots and pans are not nonstick so they are a pain to clean. We have been to other places in Juniper and Sunstone that are less comfortable. If you are in the market for a two bedroom condo near Eagle Lodge this is a good choice.

Perfectly good Sunstone unit at a discount

My friends and I rented the place on the weekend of Memorial Day and we had a great time, rooms were clean, comfy beds, the building is cozy, has everything you need in a trip.

It was not strong enough to stream a movie, send videos, or download a book for the drive, but was adequate to check email.
All in all, it was a perfect spot, and we will definitely be back.

This is a great location when the snow is falling. Ski right up to the gate and store your skis in a locker 10 steps away. The rooms are small and the kitchen is small, but 2 couples or 3 guys can enjoy very a comfortable stay. We loved the underground parking, the spacious hot tub and heated pool. It was perfect, the trolley picked us up right down the street so that was a plus. I can't say anything bad about it, it was very clean and comfortable, the only thing they could add to the condo to make it a little more comfortable in the summer is maybe some ceiling fans. Since the sun was on that side in the afternoon the condo warmed up,so if you were gone all day no it was closed up it took awhile to cool down. I would love to stay there again it was a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed our stay. However, this unit needs some attention. The mattress in the master bedroom is atrocious and needs to be replaced asap. It's simply not acceptable for a unit of this caliber and for the price I paid to stay during the holidays. The mattress in the 2nd bedroom is better. Also, the bedding in both bedrooms including the pillows needs a thorough washing. They did not smell very good. Better yet, just replace them...the amount of $$ I paid for four nights during the holidays should more than pay for these changes so you can more truthfully market this unit "five star".
