About this bed and breakfast
Located in Indiana, this charming bed and breakfast for $110 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Relaxing retreat on 16 acres of woods yet minutes from shopping, restaurants, Lake Monroe and the I.U. stadium. A quiet place to wind down. The studio is in the woods so you may see or encounter wildlife including deer, opossums, raccoons, coyote, bobcat, snakes and birds. Guests have access to a grill, fire pit and hammock. WiFi is available for your devices. CD player and record player/records are provided. No cable or television. Cell phone service is available if occasionally spotty. There is a security camera on our main residence. It does record but is not monitored 24/7. You will see the camera if you walk up to our main residence. No cleaning fee. Kitchenette has a microwave,toaster oven,coffeemaker, electric kettle, espresso machine coffee, tea, refrigerator, blender, dishes and utensils. Owner does live on the property in a separate residence. I give my guests privacy but if complete seclusion is what you are looking for my place probably isn't for you. There is a long driveway back to the studio so in the winter months all wheel or four wheel drive is recommended. I keep the driveway plowed but if a snow storm cones through it may take a bit to get a snow plow out to me for service.

Wonderful! Bobby was wonderful. She gave us a refund for arriving a date late. Also, I left my watch and she let my daughter pick it up. We saw deer, birds, and weather was wonderful for winter.

This is a perfect suite. Every amenity is thought of. The location is wonderful. Close to Bloomington and IU campus but a quiet retreat in the woods. Bobby is a top notch hostess!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again.

Very private and cozy. The owner gave us complete privacy and thought of all the little touches that made our stay even more special! From the locally made sweets, to the robes and the turntable with albums.

This was a wonderful location to stay for our vacation. The stay is just moments from the main road and yet there is no traffic noise in any way. Just the sounds of the woods. As we were tired upon arrival it came to our suprise that the bed we layed in sucked us in like an amazing cloud. Instantly we slept the night away and awoke almost wanting to not leave. Highly recoomend.

This is by far the best place to stay if you like nature but not camping. It is quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. Close to downtown Bloomington, yet far enough away that makes you feel like you are in a hidden retreat (10 minutes away). 20-30 minutes from downtown Nashville, Indiana. Many wineries to visit, state parks, coffe shops, etc. Best host!! Beautiful place inside and out. Seriously cannot say enough about this place and the host. O n the bed!!! Omg the best memory foam topper that makes you feel comfy and comfortable. Cannot wait to visit again!!!

This is in an amazing location- surrounded by woods and very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the chipmunks, squirrels, butterflies, hummingbirds and other birds. I’m sure we would The studio was immaculate and well equipped, the owner is friendly and helpful. This is definitely the place to stay if you are looking for something remote, peaceful, relaxing, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This place was so quaint and peaceful! The inside is super cozy and absolutely love the window to look out into the woods in the dining room. Bed is beyond comfortable and the fireplace is the perfect addition! It was the perfect place for a mom’s getaway. The homemade cookies and organic bug spray were a nice treat to us. The location was perfect along with this. All I can say if this is going on our save list for future girls trips in the future!

I rented this place for my parents to stay in Bloomington. It is about 15 min from town and is absolutely amazing!! It is tucked in the woods - such a peaceful, beautiful setting. The place itself had everything we needed and was clean, nicely decorated, cozy but spacious!! Bobbie was a great host and very helpful. We will definitely be back! A quick note that the directions on my app took me to the wrong road/ridge so make sure it doesn’t do the same for u!!

Absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend! We came into town for the Mellencamp show at IU. My hubby enjoyed going to the IU Purdue game (although his Boilers lost) and I loved being back in Southern Indiana where I grew up. Easy trip into Btown. The studio is simply gorgeous and the property is just as beautiful. Special touches added just what we needed for the perfect relaxing weekend. Will be back! Thank you!

We loved this cozy and quirky place! Everything we needed was available and even some nice surprises (cupcakes from a local bakery and specialty coffee provided). We loved the ability to see wild life outside the large window while drinking our morning coffee. This home is near Bloomington, Columbus and Nashville for entertainment.

Bobby’s cabin is tucked on a heavily wooded hillside with views into a deep ravine. It was very clean, comfortable and peaceful. There’s a large picture window in the dining area where you can lose track of time watching the birds and squirrels and deer frolic around. It was well stocked, and very cute. There’s even a record player and a CD player!

We got engaged in this cabin, so it was only fitting that we celebrate our mini-moon in it. It was beautiful, serene, cozy, and all you need. The foliage and bird-watching was spectacular this fall! Thank you, Bobby, for providing this beautiful oasis.

My husband and I made a last minute decision to spend the weekend in Bloomington, IN. This property is a hidden gem! Bobby thought of everything we might need for our stay. It felt as if we were staying in a friend's guest house. We literally could have packed our clothes and would not have wanted for a thing all weekend!! We so enjoyed the welcome treat from a local bakery; electric fireplace; blue tooth, yet retro record player (actual vinyl records provided...which we LOVED listening to); playing cards at the table with a terrific view and last but not least...the awesome coffee provided!! Drank way too much of the dark brew...it was that good (Sober Joe Coffee Co, Bloomington, IN. Check it out. Excellent flavor and goes to a good cause). Can't wait to have another getaway here! Thanks again Bobby for thinking of everything!!

This cottage was everything we could have hoped for. Clean, quiet, comfortable, well-stocked, easy to find and close (but not too close) to the university and downtown Bloomington. It’s situated in the woods where the only sounds are birds and crickets. As an added bonus, the decor and design are really cool and interesting. You can’t go wrong with Bobby’s cottage.

The long driveway was amazing and we really felt like we were far away, but town was really close by. It was a great time and Bobby had even left some treats from a local bakery, which was so kind. We definitely want to visit again!

Such a nice break from my usual hectic world. Enjoyed sitting outside in the woods, watching the birds at breakfast, and being cozy under a blanket watching the electric fireplace. The robes and extra towels were especially nice since it rained. Cabin restaurant with their huge patio and gourmet twist on traditional dishes was a hidden gem and driving to old favorites in Bloomington took less than 15 minutes. I would definitely stay here again.
