Just three miles to 4 Golf Courses, 16 miles to a 5th Golf Course. Minutes to Fly Fishing and Rafting the Snake River. Grocery Store & Pharmacy two miles away. Horseback riding nearby. Winter sports galore....Skiing in winter at three of the nations' top Ski Mountains. ( Jackson Hole, Snow King & Grand Targhee )Snowmobile and tubing rentals nearby. Most activities are within one hour drive, with the exception of Yellowstone & Grand Tetons National Park, which is approx. 70 miles north of Jackson. This VRBO is the best! This was our second visit to this property because we loved it so much the first time. It is centrally located in the Star Valley and easy to find. The VRBO is so well-appointed, everything you could think of and more. Your host is amazing, a great communicator and is so responsive to every question or need. The yard and grounds are well manicured and it's all just beautiful. One day during our stay there were 5 young bucks running across the back of the property. The air is so fresh and clean. The rains were gentle and refreshing. This is a great stay and we will surely be back!

Communication was awesome prior to and during our stay. The loft had everything we could have needed and then some. It was easy to find and a perfect location for our visit. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We would highly recommend it.

Karen and Von are wonderful hosts! The loft was very cozy and had wonderful views of the mountains. Our dog had a great time running through their 13 acres of fields. And they were good with pets. Great and safe location, being 30 minutes from Alpine/Bridger-Teton National Forest and 1 hour away from Jackson. Their house is a bit close to the loft, but they were very respectful of our space and privacy. Would stay again!

Quiet & private 2/2 with great views that’s well stocked and appointed. Star Valley is wonderful with great hiking and restaurants with owners & staff who are so friendly. Great place to use as a base for Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons & Yellowstone. Karen so nice with great communication. Would definitely recommend.

A perfect quiet setting
We enjoyed our stay and the responsiveness of our host! The space is just as shown and it offers a quiet residential area that provides access to lots of opportunities.
From here, we visited up to Jackson and down to Bear Lake (a must see) and everything in-between. And nearby, access to trailheads for hiking and the Star Valley Ranch with two nearby community pools open to the public for a nominal fee.

This was a perfect place for 3 days for my husband, 18 yr old daughter, and me to explore Wyoming & parts of Yellowstone National Park. We loved the quiet, scenic location about 52 miles from downtown Jackson. Despite its rustic look, it had all the necessary modern amenities such as High Def TV, WiFi, dishwasher, and Keurig coffee machine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

This property was so sweet and we had an AMAZING time. The pictures of the space are a bit deceiving. The bedrooms are VERY small and living room is tight. It was perfect for two of us but it may have been too small for a party of four. We loved our experience there and Karen was so incredibly kind. The loft was super clean as well.

Teton's Visit
This loft was clean and welcoming. Thayne is was about 1 hr or more away form Teton's/Jackson - which was the best we could find at the time. Be aware tall people should be careful not to hit light in bathroom and living area, I guess it's about only 6 feet high (luckily we're all shorter than that). The two restaurants that were close by were rather enjoyable considering the rural location of Thayne, WY.

Nice loft
This was a nice little loft. Karyn was super helpful and the property was beautiful. Water pressure is mountain water pressure, (low) so be aware of that. About an hour from jackson, more if its bad weather. The drive to Jackson from the cabin was gorgeous and well worth it. Had a little trouble finding the place as we arrived in the dark. Do yourself a favor when you get close.... ignore your gps and follow Karen's directions to a "t" they were spot on and I would have had no issue had I followed them initially lol will be back with the fam again. Thanks karyn!

Fantastic Getaway
We stayed at this property for 2 weeks and it was a good size for our family of 3 and had everything we needed! We were so excited to find a place that would allow us to bring our dogs. The town of Thayne is very small but it was a great escape and a good change of scenery after working from home for 6 months. There are some fun hikes nearby that were great in the summer and would be beautiful in the fall.
