My family and friends rented this house for two nights just to get away and go watch the Super Bowl and go skiing. It was a great set up. The house had so many things for the kids to enjoy. It’s winter time so the outdoor activities were limited, but the basketball court was very nice and it was only 15 minutes to Jack Frost. The house was kept very clean. The only thing is that the hot tub started out at 100°, but it was hard to maintain the temperature. But all in all our family thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed in this house before and were just as happy this time! Plenty of room for 25 people. You can be together, but not overcrowded. Or you can spread out to the different living areas, if you need more space. Plenty of room to sit at a table for meals, too.
We are disappointed in the $3000 price jump for next year. We planned on going back but will now need to look for another home.

Our family’s stay at the inn was an experience we will long remember. Everything was perfect, from the lovely grounds to the spacious interior. The property is off the road so it is peaceful and quiet. I hope to be back!

The house was great the size and space and the amount of bedrooms was perfect; however for the amount I paid for 4 days just wasn’t worth it. We was asked to bring towels, wash clothes and toiletries we did. However we also needed trash bags, a bath met in the bath room in the loft. We had no stoppers for the sink nor did we have a dish clothe or scrubber for pots and pans, We needed propane for the grill, but the grill looked like it had never been cleaned so we couldn’t barbecue. The linen on the beds wasn't fresh or cleaned. The refrigerator wasn’t working properly and the list went on! Don’t Book it. They need to update it and make minor adjustment! Crazy

I noticed several reviews with negative comments, so I contacted the PM to make sure all was rectified. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of issues.
The good:
- Nice water pressure in the showers
- Plenty of bedrooms to accommodate our group
- Beds were comfortable
- Nice secluded location
The bad:
- The biggest complaint we had is there are no air ducts in any of the bedrooms. Therefore, you basically need to blast the AC in the common areas to attempt to cool off the bedrooms. Unfortunately, being on the third level, the two master bedrooms were sweltering by late afternoon.
- We had to call maintenance to fix a door that would not close/lock
- Foosball missing (maintenance gave us a new one)
- Ants were taking over the kitchen/outdoor space
- Rips in the living room couch
- Stains on the chaise in the master bedroom
- No shower curtain liner in the master bedroom – water would leak onto the floor
- Kitchen faucet was barely attached
- Refrigerator handle barely attached and the freezer was cracked
- No towels, which is clearly listed in the specs, but it would be nice if they could offer towels for an additional fee. No one wants to cart home wet towels.
- Kitchen floor tiles cracked
- Not enough seating around the fire pit
Our consensus was: when paying for the Ritz Carlton, you shouldn’t get Red Roof Inn. Basically, for what we got, the cabin was overpriced.

House is large to accommodate a large family reunion, which allows for fun indoors + outdoors!
All trip members had a great time. fantastic location near a beautiful/scenic pond.
While some aspects need updating/minor repairs, the house and property was more than sufficient for our group. We plan to come again!

Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Everything was as described. The property is spacious and there was plenty of room for the entire family. The property could use some minor updating. The picnic tables were in bad shape. The hot tub jets did not really work. The door to the theater room stuck and the handle kept coming off. The sofa bed in the theater room did not work well. There were only about 8 forks for a place that sleeps 28 people. Other than these minor items, everything else met expectations. It was a great place to have the entire family. There are several large areas for people to congregate.

House was beautiful! Peaceful and quiet area.
There was definitely a few things that it could have used.
One being more forks there was not enough for the amount of people in the house to all have one.
Potholders and containers with lids to store stuff would have been nice. Fans for each room. Even though there are AC units they don’t keep the bedrooms cool. Especially the upstairs rooms. The ice maker and water running through the fridge would have been helpful.
There was plenty to keep all busy downstairs and the movie room was a hit.

The property was as advertised. Plenty of room for our party of 12 to hold meetings as well as relax. Location was beautiful and secluded yet close enough to town to pick up essentials if needed.

Very beautiful as shown in listing. Expansive, lots of open space…. Fits everyone easily we all LOVED it. The movie theater room and game room was a big hit. I would definitely recommend.

The furniture shown is different than what is actually in the house. I imagine that is the furniture from when the house was initially staged a loooong time ago. The couches in the living room area are broken and beat up fabric couches not the nice brown leather ones. The nice fabric chairs shown around the island are not there . The linens and pillows are low quality so if you need a certain type of pillow or a comforter to sleep than I suggest you bring your own. The large deck out back was covered in dog poop. I suppose whoever was in the house before the snow fall let their dogs poop all over the deck and didn't clean it up so when the snow melted (when we were there) all of the dog poop appeared. The ash trays off the play room on the 1st level were loaded with used cigars and cigarettes so the cleaning team must have missed those. Also, no cleaning supplies at all so be sure to bring your own. The lighting throughout the house is a mismatch of different bulbs and color settings which drives my OCD crazy. Also, very dim lighting in a lot of the bathrooms and bedrooms. There was a broken thermostat control in the downstairs bathroom on the opposite side of the shuffleboard table. One of the sliding doors for the deck off the living room is busted off. The basketballs are trashed too, so bring your own if you want to play. This was a bachelor party house for us so it was fine, but for someone bringing their family to this place I would definitely be upset at the price I paid compared to the quality you are getting. This place is really due for a good bit of TLC after many many nights of partying.

The property is great since we have a large group of over 20. So much to do in the house. The group before us commented that much of the furniture was different from the online pictures. This is true but other than one of the couches not being a pull-out bed it did not make much of a difference to us. Last season we stayed in another one of their houses that is almost identical so I believe they might use the pictures interchangeably, regardless it was not a material difference.
It is hard to find a 10 bedroom home that also has a large enough great room and kitchen to accommodate so many. We have always had a great stay with their homes.

Owner allowed us to check in 2 hours early. Upon arrival we realized furniture DIDNT match photos from VRBO. VRBO photos showed leather seats and upon arrival we discovered cloth seats which had some rips. Next utensils: we had to make 2 washes. Forks / knives /spoons / cups had bad residue, it was bad. Next ; since we were here just to relax , enjoy the games & eat - the tv"s that were photoed in VRBO didnt match. Plus in theatre room there isnt a projector or full screen Next : the theatre room. Seats arent the same. They are smaller and have some tears. Next : there was no lighting on outside deck. We text owner and recieved a quick repaonse. The maintenance man came the next morning and fixed the problem. Next : the jaquzzi - dont go in!! We called to inform it was dirty & jets werent working, there response its clean & jets were working??!!?!? We informed them again please fix and didnt recieve a response.. This place ISNT WORTH THE MONEY. Note we left place smelling better than we arrived.

Very nice house. Great for our large group. Kitchen necessities were well stocked(plates, utensils, pots/pans). Property needs to be updated on site though. No ebox or playstation. Hot tub is not connected correctly (outlet plugged into is lower output than needed) resulting in poor jet action & no lighting. Property manager did respond quickly to a request for shuffle board sand. No ball to play the fusball. As it was 55 & raining quite a bit we were indoors more than we thought we would be but the area had some beautiful trails nearby that were great. We did have a wonderful family get together, made some great memories.

This home was beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We were a large group and there was more than enough room for everyone. The owners were more than accommodating. The property around the house was just as beautiful. We had a great weekend and look forward to returning!

The property manager was responsive and the house was a good size with lots to do. The pictures were not accurate. The furniture was different than pictured the table tops were scratched. The TV stands were broken and one TV was not working. So that was a little disappointing for the money paid. Otherwise everything was pretty much as advertised and we had a nice weekend .

Located on a quiet lot and it looks great online, but the stay was NOT worth money. Honest feedback is the house was not clean, it was dirty and dusty, and their cleaning company should be fired! Upon arrival there was trash at the firepit and in the driveway. There was an issue with the grill, and everyone we went without lunch that day. The aesthetic was not pleasing at all. All the furniture is VERY worn and mismatched. There were a lot of things broken and taped together. For a large house like this you would expect a space for everyone to gather and eat together. Instead, there are small sets of tables and chairs everywhere that separate everyone into small groups. Felt like we were at a restaurant. It is very obvious that this rental is not accommodating, upkept or cared for. We will not be returning.

The house and grounds are beautiful in October! The space is ample for the 11 adults who, most of whom had never met, to have time together to bond, and yet have enough room to have needed alone time. The neighborhood is quiet ( except 1 dog- lol), and the woods are beautiful for strolling. We all loved gazing out at the pond. Lovely space. The only down side was that we couldn't get the gas fireplace on the main floor to light.

This house is great for a large group. Beautiful setting. There were 15 adults but we only had 13 forks. Inventory of the dishes, glasses and silverware needs to accommodate the 25 people it says it holds. Several sinks didn’t drain properly. Would have preferred queen beds and not double and single in some bedrooms. Property manager was very nice and helpful!

We had a great time with extended family. The house is well laid out for visiting in large groups and for people visiting in smaller groups. The area is beautiful and close to state parks and other lovely areas.
We could not figure out how to make the home theater work and realized afterwards that we should have called the number suggested for help.
Everything was clean and well cared for. Instructions for the house were clear. We hope to come back again.

The property was great for our group of friends. We used every activity that the house offered (which were numerous). The grounds were beautiful and there were more than enough rooms and bathrooms for our group. The only issue was that the hot tub appeared to be leaking, which caused the water level to drop a bit. We contacted the management company when we discovered it, but the rest of the trip and the experience in the house was good!

We had a great time. There were 25 of us; 10 families, and plenty of space. We grilled every night. We sang karaoke in the great family room for hours. The kitchen is big. We never felt like there were “too many cooks in the kitchen”. Kids went on nature walks around the pond. Great fire pit. We drove 5 mins into town and a family was selling firewood by the wheelbarrow full for $20. Nice grocery stores nearby. Beautiful area.
There were a few maintenance items that we reported but none affected our fun.

We were very pleased with the 'chalet'. We enjoyed the amenities - and the AC worked! However there were many small issues that we wouldn't expect from a property costing $2000/night. For example two tiles from a table on the patio had been shattered and the sharp broken pieces were stacked on the patio. We had small children with us who could have been hurt!. More than 6 light bulbs were burnt out. There were only 14 forks in the utensil drawer for a house with 20 bedrooms - not enough! There were no grilling tools - we bought a set and gifted them to you! Propane tank was only 1/4 full and you state that it would be full at the beginning of the week. We replaced it. Th kitchen sink needs a new strainer as it won't hold water. The hot tub is leaking, and needs refilling almost daily. Only 2 horseshoes for the horseshoe pits. Some of the chains for the fans and their lights don't work! We had to remove the globe and unscrew bulbs if we wanted to run just the fan. A couple of the bathrooms don't have towel bars - should at least have hooks!
These are examples and there are more. If you stayed at a 4 star hotel - you would expect the details to be right! We found something new every day that detracted from our overall positive feeling.
We still gave you 4 stars - because the family had a great time.

We had a great time at this house. We had several families/couples including some young kids and all enjoyed the house. The basketball court was a lot of fun during the day and the lower level has plenty to do in the evenings. Would recommend.

Great for family reunion
Great property. Only issue is that central AC was broken. Owner has installed window Units while waiting for it to get it fixed. Easily bearable and nicely cooled down at night. Appreciate the owner trying to do everything he could and overall it was not an issue. This is a great home for a family reunion and kids a great time. Highly recommend the home.

Overall stay was good. The communications with the property management could have been better. We paid a lot of money for this vacation. We did not expect the air conditioning to break down. I'm actually angry that the owner has known about this issue over several stays and has done nothing about it! I'm expecting a call back or some kind of discount.

We had older employees who drove hours to attend the meeting, but had to leave because of the heat in the house. On the second to last day a window unit was brought over and was insufficient in cooling an entire house.
The fire pit didn't work. The maintenance person replaced the propane tank.
There was vomit all over the patio. Maintenance person stated it's "cheese" and just left it there.
The grass hasn’t been cut, therefore any activities had to be done on the patio. Ticks were noticed all over the high grass.
There are balloons or napkins wrapped all over the ceiling fan in the living room. Maintenance person saw this and left it

Trash was all over the front yard. We cleaned it up as it was ridiculous to have that at a business meeting. It was mostly small bottles of alcohol. We cleaned it up before taking pictures, but I do have a picture of one bottle left behind from the previous renters.
The dumpster was overflowed and couldn’t have any more trash put inside. The maintenance person said they would call to have it picked up and did not. We ended having to keep the garbage in the house because of the animals.
As a result of the owners lack of due diligence regarding inspection of the premises before our arrival, it caused my entire staff undo stress. The entire meeting was ruined due to the heat in the house and dirtiness.

The communciation leading up to the visit was great. The place as a whole was 100% as advertised. However, all the AC units were not working. Apparently they were being worked on. This we did not know prior at all. A bit dissappointed about that. However, other than that it was a great place and served its purpose very well.

As a result of the owners lack of due diligence regarding inspection of the premises before our arrival, it caused my entire staff undo stress. The entire meeting was ruined due to the heat in the house and dirtiness.

The location and the amenities for families and children were great, including the hot tub, basketball court, putting green, and movie theatre! There were several issues, with the main one being the fact that the central air was not working. They had shut off all of the mini-splits due to needing repair, which we can certainly understand things happen. We were NEVER informed about this issue prior to staying and it was very hot and humid during our stay. The property manager stated that they had put in air conditioners as an option. They had three air conditions for a ten-bedroom, three-level cabin. It was certainly not enough and if we had been informed, we could have brought fans or made other arrangements. Also, the dumpster had not been emptied and this remained an issue. It could have been the dumpster company's fault, but we should have not dealt with trash being torn apart and all over the place from the wildlife, due to not fitting in the dumpster. The property could be great if there was better and more friendly communication with the property manager who was very defensive and argumentative. We have stayed in many many properties over the year as a group and have not had as many issues as we had here!
