This place had a lovely view and the boardwalk and beach were top notch! The beach was quiet and the water was calm and perfect for kids. The neighborhood felt safe. The local town was very close. 8 minutes or so which offered grocery stores, many restaurants and boutiques. The house was large and spacious and the back deck was well equipped with many sturdy chairs tall enough to see the ocean with no obstruction of a banister. The owners were easy to communicate with and graceful.

We had an amazing time at Two Palms.
It was a great house! Had all the accommodations we could ask for. The screened porches were perfect when the weather was not so good. The beach was tranquil with very few people around. The hosts were very informative and Jim was great with all the information about the house.

Two Palms is a great house right on the beach with large living areas and many extras! Our family of 11 was very happy with the house size, the porches, the hot tub and all the extras it offered! We used the kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, and games! Would definitely recommend this beautiful house!

My family has been taking a beach vacation for over 20 years. This was our first time in this area and we love it! Great beach and not too crowded.
This property is awesome as well. Well stocked kitchen with many of the little things that we sometimes forget to bring ourselves. The beach chairs, beach towels, tent, kayaks, paddleboards were great!

We stayed at Two Palms for the Thanksgiving week. Everything was wonderful and the house had everything we needed and more. We had other family memebers who stayed in other houses and Two Palms was the favorite. There was plenty of room to entertain and visit.
If you are looking for a house in a beautiful location you should consider this home!

The Two-Palms Villa was a nice getaway for our family. Peter, the owner, was very informative prior to our arrival. We had 7!adults, one child, and two dogs and had plenty of room inside and out. Everyone enjoyed the house and the beach. The area is perfect for a quiet and peaceful vacation from the hustle and bustle of the typical tourist area that you find west of Port St. Joe. The proximity to money creek/bayou does create brackish water at times but no one really cared. They all want to go back next year.

Top notch hospitality!! My family vacationed here with multiple kids as well as elderly and I can’t say enough about how accommodating this rental property is for all ages! Anything we needing during our stay or questions we had, they were quick to respond and accommodated us in every way! Great vacation spot…definitely a gem!

If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, Two Palms is the place. Jim, the house manager, greeted us upon our arrival and even helped us with our luggages. He was very courteous and informative. The kitchen was one of the best well stocked kitchen we've seen in a rental, and other than a quick run to a nearby Piggly Wiggly for groceries, the house had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were of good quality. There were several high quality beach chairs enough for a large family. To our delight, we saw several pods of dolphins on our second day, and one even swam next to a kayak we had taken out. We learned that Jim also works at a wine store not far from Two Palms, so if you enjoy good wine, we are certain Jim can help you with that too. The beach felt as if we owned it since we were the only ones on the beach at times, and we savored the solitude. It was rejuvenating. The hospitality extended by the Burns and Jim is the best we've experienced in VRBO.
Peace and Tranquility were what we wanted out of this vacation, and Two Palms did not disappoint.

Nice Getaway
We loved the layout of the house, the view, the short walk to the beach, the hot tub, etc. It's very secluded, but the people we did meet were all friendly and fun. The owner and manager are very determined to make sure you have everything you need during your stay and will check on you while you're there. We had a wonderful time and would return!

Our family had a great time at this wonderful house. We all loved the screened deck as a great spot to read while listening to the ocean. The interior was big enough that we could get away from each other when we needed our own space.

We spent our 10th Anniversary week at Two Palms with our loveable mutt for a much-needed getaway. It was an awesome trip and so relaxing! When we weren't beach combing or exploring the area, we spent time chilling on the porches (two of which are screened-in to prevent even the no-seums from getting in). It was really nice to have the master bedroom doors open to the porch to hear the sounds of the ocean. All of the porches, decks and below the house were well furnished with tables, Adirondack chairs and lifeguard chairs. The sofas and beds were quite comfy, the kitchen was well-equiped and there was lots of seating for meals. Our very favorite feature was the hot tub! We made use of it most everyday and enjoyed a good night's sleep!
Since it was still a little early in the season and fairly cool at night along with a rough surf, we were not able to use the kayaks and paddle boards, but we did play a few rounds of shuffleboard!
We had a great evening on the beach by a bonfire (it was on my bucket list) watching the sun go down and then sitting underneath a canopy of stars. We ventured into Port St. Joe for a delicious breakfast at Sister's Bistro and for our Anniversary dinner at Krazyfush (also delish) and watched the sunset off of Cape San Blas. We also had an awesome lunch (baked oysters with parmesan and garlic butter and gumbo) at the Indian Pass Rawbar! It's truly a unique place that must be experienced on your visit!
Besides checking out Indian Pass (we hope to go to St. Vincent Island next time) and Cape San Blas Peninsula State Park, we drove to Appalachiacola and St. George Island State Park (beautiful dunes). The scenery was just gorgeous on the drive and the towns were really cozy. We finished the day with a late lunch at the Half Shell Dockside where I got some great shots of various birds and boats that passed by!
Lastly, at Two Palms, nature was out in full force with not only various shore birds and Money Bayou full of blue crabs, but a pair of bald eagles, porpoises frolicking in the surf and a pair of deer that ran by the house early one morning and walked right past us on our last evening there as we sat in the boardwalk watching the sunset. We loved the mostly-deserted beach! The owners, Peter and Lydia were very responsive and helpful and their property manager, Jim was very helpful as well and met us at Two Palms and made sure we were set, called to check-in mid week and stopped by on checkout! Great Trip!

Winter getaway
This house is in a great location on a beautiful, quiet beach with fantastic views of sunrise, sunsets and dolphins. The house is spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We loved having multiple decks and the choice of screened-in or uncovered seating to enjoy the views. The house is very well stocked both in terms of outdoor sports gear and kitchenware.
A couple things could use improvement. The house wasn’t as clean as we had hoped. There was an ashtray full of cigarette butts, something dripping down the front of a cabinet and stains on some towels. The house is also a little older than it looks in the pictures and could use some fresh paint and caulking. Nothing that was a dealbreaker, but I think it’s better to expect going in that it’s not brand new and pristine. We relayed our thoughts to Peter, the owner, who was very communicative before, during and after the trip.

We had a great time. Port St Joe is a quaint town with great shops and restaurants. Our view of the sunset was perfect and we mostly had the beach to ourselves. We visited Apalachicola and really liked that town as well.

Vacay August 2021
The house was comfortable and spacious, with room for all. Everyone enjoyed gathering on the decks and enjoying the spectacular ocean views. We appreciated having access to lots of outdoor sports equipment. The property manager was very helpful, especially during the tropical storm we encountered. The online pictures were somewhat misleading, as some of the furniture is worn, I’m sure in great part to constant use! Thanks to Peter for all of the thorough information, tips, and suggestions provided to us. We would definitely come back.

Owners/manager were super friendly and helpful in assisting with any and all questions/concerns! The beach area was the highlight with miles of sand in both directions and WITHOUT crowds! Caught lots of fish including juvenile sharks right from the beach! Don’t worry, while fishing in knee deep water the sharks swam the other direction when they saw us. The water was very warm and shallow which is a plus for the kiddos. The house was stocked with anything that we needed as we cooked several meals on site still while grabbing restaurant carry out meals to enjoy back at the house. The air conditioner worked fantastically and with the ceiling fans in each room, no one used the supplied box fans! Would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to come back from Northern IN. Thanks again to owners Peter & Lydia !

My family recently stayed at two palms. The house was amazing! The location was okay. We had a great time crabbing and fishing. The blue crabs that we caught were not big enough to eat which was a little disappointing. We caught several small sharks and a few catfish. The small sharks come all the way up to the beach. The house was fully stocked with every small appliance we needed we needed. The house was comfortable and large enough for my family to spread out and relax. I recommend taking your own beach chairs, the ones at the house are rusted and a couple are broken. The owner will tell you to call the property manager with anything you need or with any questions, such as fire wood, etc and the property manager will make arrangements but that was not true during our trip, he couldn’t answer our questions about fireworks (we were there over the 4th). We were just given numbers to call, which we happily did, and everything worked out. It just wasn’t the grand service that the owner talked about when I spoke with him. During our stay the water the mostly brown, the color of Dr. pepper, due to the money bayou, on the last day it had cleared up some. All in all two palms is great vacation home if you are looking for a quiet relaxing location. Be prepared for the property manager to show up an hour before check out time (9am ish) and hang out down stairs for a while. The owner Peter Burns is very easy to talk to and full of information and suggestions that he is willing to share.

AWSOME Experience
We had a great stay at Two Palms. Peter, the owner, was great to work with and provided so much information on the area that was very helpful. Peter ALWAYS got back to us and went above and beyond when we had questions. The house had everything we needed and more. The paddle boards and kayaks were great. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had all needed supplies, the decks were awesome to take in the gulf sights and sounds. Crab hunting was a blast. Great location, great food, an awesome experience overall. Thanks Peter for providing a great home to rent!!

Property was great! We absolutely loved the location and it was well stocked with everything we might have needed. The property manager did drop by unannounced one day to pick up something from our house for their other rental. We would have appreciated a phone call or text as a heads up that he was coming by, but other than that, great communication with both owner and property manager.

We stayed in mid-May 2021. Peter and Lydia along with their property manager Jim were very kind and helpful - always concerned that we had everything we needed. If anything, I'd say it might be a touch too communicative since we felt like we might have missed some detail with all the information provided to us.
Unfortunately there were rip tide warnings all week when we stayed but the host can't do anything about the weather. Make sure you check for those warnings in your forecast for the day and also look down the beach for the flags (we had double red flags all week). We did use the opportunity to try new things though. We flew kites, bought a skim board and one of the kids learned to skim in the tidal pools. Also, the house is situated very close (couple hundred yards) from Money creek. There are TONS of blue crabs there. Peter provides crabbing nets and a pot. We all had so much fun catching the crabs (we let them go but I suppose you could cook them if you're adventurous).
We were concerned about water temperature when we booked it since we didn't know how it feel in mid-May. The one day we were able to get it, it was cold but do-able since you could get out and warm up in the sun.
Due to the weather we spent a couple of days at nearby Port St. Joe Golf Club. You can use their pool for the day for about $6 a person. Their food is excellent too. As far as eating goes, we didn't care for KrazyFish Grille downtown. However, we LOVED Indian Pass Raw bar (which is conveniently about a mile from the house). You serve yourself drinks when you show up (from the cooler or pour yourself a draft beer) - how cool is that?
As far as the house goes, it had plenty of space. While it was kept clean, I would say it is due some updates to the kitchen and baths as well as some drywall work. We were expecting something much more up to date based on the pictures.
All in, though, it was a good trip and the hosts were very friendly.

The Perfect Getaway
We absolutely LOVED our time at Two Palms. The home has the most spectacular view of the sunrise and sunset over the water, with a fantastic interior to match. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of room for multiple cooks and each bedroom is large with closet and drawer space to unpack into, but the real show stopper are the decks. There are 2 screened in decks, one off the master on the top floor and another off the main living area with plenty of seating and tables. The third deck is large and has both grills and the hot tub. We quite literally lived on the decks the entirety of our trip with a gentle breeze and warm temperatures almost every day.
If you're looking for somewhere to escape everything and spend some quality time with a few loved ones (which we were), then you've found it. Peter, one of the owners, and Jim, the property manager, made everything very easy for us and were always available if needed. I can't say enough good things about our stay at Two Palms, so suffice it to say that I highly recommend this home!

Beautiful home, great location, and very helpful property manager. We unfortunately were there during Hurricane Sally, so we stayed in the home most of the time, but the seating was plentiful, and it gave us time to actually play games and interact.
